We catered from here for a party about a month ago. I met with Rich who takes care of catering. He helped me decide on sub platters a fruit platter, a cookie platter and salad. Everything came out great and was fresh. I didn't have to do anything but pick up the order and Rich even helped my husband load everything into the car and called the next day to make sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely cater from here again. Food was great and prices were reasonable.

Sub was alright. Meat tasted well. Bread was fresh. I just Felt the amount of meat on the sandwhich was a bit underwhelming, the meat was paper thing and most likely couldn't have been more then 3oz in weight per querter

Been coming to Mr Sub for years the cashier over chargé me I called wasn't able to leave a vm due to it was full. Spoke to the manager Isa who was rude on the phone and in person. I gave It a one star but Rich the manager call me right away and resolve my issue so I had to change it to a 4. This had nothing to do with the subs which are amazing.

EDIT: new management at this location and they’re usually okay but no longer are ordering the round rolls for pork roll egg n cheeses. Idk how a sandwich shop doesn’t have a round roll, but it’s a BIG disadvantage since i always get a PEC and no longer can Im a frequent customer, and they are typically always doing a great a job, even on their busiest days. Know me by name at this point and always ensure the sandwiches are delicious!

This was my first time at Mr. Subs and I am pleased with the service and quality of the food. The prices were reasonable for the 8' subs that I purchased. This will not be my last visit to this location.

What happened to this place ??? Ordered 2 gutted toasted bread with Grilled chicken EXTRA tomatoes&lettuce, sweet peppers and crushed red. Bread, not toasted barely gutted no extra tomato or lettuce like I asked, and the chicken was absolutely disgusting. It was very rubbery threw it out.😐 Second sub same way except chicken was raw in the middle .

One of my favorite sub shops in NJ! They offer the freshest ingredients with great combination of meats and condiments. It is a very solid establishment. I also order subs for church catering occasionally and every time they meet our expectations to the full. Rich, the owner, takes a good care of you. See you back soon!

Our school used Mr. Subs for a charity event this past weekend. Not only were they reasonably priced for what we needed, the food was delicious. All of our students were very happy with their lunch. Rich was so helpful and his staff was great to work with. We are looking forward to working with them again next year!

We had a large catering order for our staff ( entire school district) and I have to say I am highly impressed with the quality, taste, presentation of the sub platters and friendliness of the staff. Rich was absolutely amazing in making sure all the food was delivered accurately and in a timely manner. He really does go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right! We will definitely be going back to Mr.Subs for our next catering event and when I get a craving for a really great sub! Thanks Rich and team!

-5 stars!! So much for taking care of your mistake. 2 weeks ago, give or take, I called in my order over the phone. When I picked up my order and took it home we were shy one of the two sandwiches that I ordered. I called and they apologized but told them I could not come back. I was told to just remind him next time and "he will take care of it because I am always here". So today I called and reminded him that they owe me a sandwich while I was calling in my order. I was put on hold and told I need to talk to the boss. The young lady in charge told me no and said I should have come back that day. Explained to her the whole story again. I hung up annoyed. Since I went to the post office 2 doors down I decided to go in anyway. The boss lady did not want to hear and gave me attitude. "I'm here everyday", and looking both ways to her coworkers who said nothing she added, " so I'm not giving you a free sandwich". With that I stormed out saying I don't want a free sandwich I just want what I paid for. They ripped me off. So much for trusting a business that I visited 1-2 times a month. Never again, I'll starve first before they get another penny from me.

Ok, my review...there are two locations north Brunswick and East Brunswick. The North Brunswick is much better. Bigger menu and opens earlier. On top of that I know the north Brunswick place you can eat in there and not sure about the E Brunswick one. That being said. The food either one is very good. The subs are much better than jersey mikes. Prices are much better and the quality if the meat is better. If you want your dollar to go further in these times go with Mr.subs and don't let mikes overcharge you. I have ever had a complaint about the food from either one of the Mr. Subs two stores and the food is always fresh and cold cuts are great. If you want a decent price and a good sub order for this guy. This is the TRUE jersey sub. Not a chain store.

Rich, the owner was a HUGE help. I needed a sub order for a field day event, and the communication between me and the workers made the experience that much easier! I also had to reschedule my field day and order, and it was not a problem with this location. They had all the sandwiches packaged, labeled and ready to go for pick up. Rich & Izza are amazing & I cannot wait to order from them again!

We recently used Mr. Subs again for our schools field day staff lunch order. To say amazing is an understatement. Rich and his team of workers not only accommodated our switch in days due to the air quality, they also individually packed 54 teacher orders to perfection! I highly recommend this shop for not only the prompt and individual specifications but also for the tasty quality ALL of their choices are! We used Mr. Subs for a staff luncheon and the subs were delicious. Rich was super helpful in planning the event. The subs were made on time with everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a successful luncheon. We will definitely be coming back!

The bread is SO fresh and their subs are delicious. Recently tried a hot sandwich for something different and it was just as good. Rich is always so nice and helpful to the community.

As a long time customer of both the North Brunswick and South Plainfield locations, I can attest to the fact that their food is consistently good and the staff if friendly and helpful!!

Excellent catering services, The subs are fresh and delicious! On several occasions I have ordered sub platters for small events and have received outstanding service! The shop is clean, the staff is courteous and the owner is very responsive and accommodating! Mr. Subs is my go to restaurant for catering; the food tastes great and is affordable!

Cashier was rude and refused to fix a mistake with an order. Then when I got the sandwiches home we realized one was missing an ingredient and the tomatoes were completely white, no red at all on the tomatoes.

Fresh bread, meat and cheese slices not too thin, not too thick. Perfect balance of condiments and great customer service (awesome tuna salad to boot). Not going to mention names but Mr Subs is definitely stealing the #1 spot from a local sub shop I've frequented for over twenty years. Great all around experience 👍

I like your sandwiches, the workers were accommodating and patient, however, the store is a sweatbox. Your workers are sweating over the sandwiches. Please fix your ac. Someone could faint in that heat.

The food is just as amazing as the staff! They’re quick and ingredients taste extremely fresh. The pasta salad is also quite delicious not too soggy and not too dry just perfect.

Been here multiple times for years and this is the first I have received horrible service. They completely butchered our order. Both of our sandwiches were incorrect and when my mother called to correct the order, the lady on the phone completely dismissed her. The lady said they were closing soon and just hung up despite us calling 30 minutes prior to closing time. There must be new staff because this is the first time something like this has happened but I am heavily disappointed.

Many of the staff members at my school ordered from Mr. Subs for our field day today. Rich, the owner, was very easy to work with in coming up with a meal plan that worked for our staff. Not only did he deliver all the the sandwiches/chips/drinks at the requested time but he made another trip back to the school for a staff member whose order was not completely accurate. I have gotten rave reviews from our staff about their sandwiches and we are so grateful to Rich and his team at Mr. Subs for making this possible without breaking the bank. We are looking forward to this new field day tradition. I highly recommend Mr. Subs for the freshest of sandwiches, good portions, and amazing service!
