We had the best waiter ever!! He was constantly on the go, making sure we had a wonderful dining experience. The food is your regular diner fare, but that’s why you go to a diner. Loved it and will definitely return again.

This place has it all… good prices, flavorful food, breakfast all day great staff , clean location, and plenty of parking ‼️ So what ya waiting for stop by and taste for yourself. …Oh and Bring a friend; there’s plenty of room. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‼️

What really does it for me in a new place (or Actually any place), is how the customer is treated. At the Omega diner, the staff is extremely clued-in, makes great recommendations and makes the customers feel so welcome. Everything we ate was great and Portions are very generous, so keep that in mind while ordering. Of course, you could always box stuff for later.

The service was phenomenal! The waitress and staff in general were so gentle, well spoken and kind to my partner and I. The food itself was also really tasty! I ordered an omelette with a substitute side of sweet potato fries. Not a lot of places offer sweet potato fries, which I really like, so that made me happy. My partner had French toast and honestly, it was the best French toast I’ve had. The fruit on his plate was also fresh and all their eggs come from cage free chickens. The place was clean and really festive! They seem to take festivity seriously and that’s lovely, it shows that they care and I really appreciate that. I will definitely be coming again. Also, this place has a senior and Rutgers student discount. I’m a student so this is definitely an insensitive.

This was a great place to eat. It looks great on the inside, and has a wonderful atmosphere as well. The prices were much cheaper compared to other Diners. Great experience!

Me and my sister decided to go to breakfast today Saturday morning with kids. I read the reviews saying it's halal but it was disappointing because when we got there we asked just for the preference that if is it halal or not and one of the lady says the owner says not tell customers that it's not halal food. THE FOOD/MEAT IS NOT HALAL. The breakfast was good and very pleasant place. All I wanna say that please don't mislead the information and trap people into these situations because one day you will pay for it.

Unfortunately, my experience at Omega Diner & Cafe was disappointing. The food was mediocre at best and lacked flavor. The service was slow and inattentive, with long wait times for both ordering and receiving food. The atmosphere was also lackluster, with a dated decor and uncomfortable seating. The prices were not worth the low quality of food and service. Overall, I would not recommend Omega Diner & Cafe as there are much better dining options available.

First off I love this diner, during covid I was pretty much the only one here at times. Well at the time I was going there were a few people. Now it's packed with alot of people. To add when the manager was here she would seat me at my favorite spot. I believe that when you have a waiter that talks to you with care your feed presentation and taste comes out with the same. But properly today is an off day. Last time I was here they got my order wrong. It was a horrible day. I miss the good old days.

Great food! We could’ve been in & out in 20 minutes (fast), but once we finished our meal, we waited 25 minutes for a check. The waiter hardly walked by, and when he did, he avoided eye contact. We had to go find him.

Great service. Quick service. Friendly staff. Excellent menu. Delicious food! And all at a great low price!

Ordered this off of UberEats on 5/18/2023. They completely burned the blueberry pancakes, they are hard as hockey pucks. Ordered banana French toast, they completely soaked the bread in syrup. They should have put the syrup on the side instead of on the French toast. The grits was lumpy and I couldn't eat it. The regular French toast I got tasted like it was put in the microwave. I am disappointed and disgusted becuase I expected better food. Will not come back and will not order again.

It's a really good diner, great food and well the food was on point. I ordered little more than I should but boy was it delicious! See you again guys!

Great Halloween decorations! Very kid friendly. I wouldn't order the braised short ribs again but the rest of the portions were good. Especially the chocolate cake.

Walking into Omega and I immediately took me back to the classic diners of old. It had that classic diner smell. I had the blueberry pancakes and corned beef hash and both were fantastic. I would order both next time I go and I intend on going again soon.

Ordered chicken in a basket and the chicken wasn't fresh at ALL!!! It was fried entirely too hard to the point that the chicken was dry!!! Well I called to speak with a Manger the person on the line said the Manger wasn't there then she changed her story and said that the Manger was with a customer. After waiting on the phone for about 20 min. the Manger call on the line and was very understanding and the matter was resolved.

I have to say that the food was very good. The French onion soup was a little too salty, i got the steak and it was cooked beautifully and seasoned nicely i know it wasn't the best grade of steak it wasn't wagu but for a dinner i have to say it was very good and a nice size as well and are waitress was very nice and went at a good speed so i was very happy with omega.

went on 11/25/23 approx 12:30 pm. ordered hot chocolate. mug was chipped, saucer was worn so bad you can see the stains in it. asked for whipped cream. whipped cream was melted and was like mud water when it was served to me. then ordered CHEESE omelette with veggies. No cheese in the omelette. wanted pumpkin pie(keep in mind 2 days after thanksgiving) No pumpkin pie, yet the sign was still on display where apple pie was displayed. wu will probably NOT eat there again. lastly, ladies room freezing!

I decided to have a late family thanksgiving dinner together here as we have been here before. We were lucky to have the back room, but it was as if we were totally forgotten about. Once the server took our order and the food came, we didn't see him again. I had to leave the room a few times to ask for some help with coffee and with clearing our meals! No one even came to take our plates away such bad service! Yes this things are truly important when you are with family and don't want your plate to sit in front of you for an hour! And the place was so empty when we went. It shows how much they care about their customers. Will never go back there for a gathering again. The matzo ball soup was awful!

We dine at Omega once to twice every week. The food is good but really stands out and why we keep on coming back is the wonderful service. Moe is our waiter of choice. He is personable, efficient and so helpful. He knows the menu well and is always offering suggestions when we want to try something new. We also love to come to the diner around a holiday to see what new and creative outfit Moe has put together to celebrate each holiday! We can’t wait to go to the Omega for Mother’s Day to see Moe!

Used to love coming here. Such a wide variety of food. The last two times were bad. The last one was the worst. Ordered a simple, chicken quesadilla (my boyfriend had one last time, and it looks and tasted great). It came out looking pretty pathetic, and I looked for the chicken... not any to be found. Finally got the waitress over, and she told me I should have ordered it with chicken (I did🙄) she stomped off and canceled the order. Wasn't very hungry by then. Anyway, they took it off the bill, but the waitress added a handwritten note that said I didn't like it. I never ate it. She was wrong and put it on me. And she always seems to have an attitude. (Everytime we have been there) we won't be going back for a while. Everything else is great there!

The Omega is a reliable diner where you will always get good food of ample size. Wait staff is pleasant. Seating is fast. Although usually crowded no wait and food came out quickly. Perfect meeting point!

I didnt take pics of my food. I love going into different diners with and trying out the food. It is definitely a noticeable place from the outside as it is bright yellow and it does have a beautiful sign. It was very clean walking in and also inside. It also holds alot of diners inside. I loved the space. We were seated once we were inside. Our waiter at first seemed to be in a rush so I don't know if he's shift was ending or starting but he was very Speedy Gonzalez. I do enjoy talking to the waiters and waitresses that's something I didnt really get to do with him. He warmed up mid way after the food arrived. The food I found to be a bit bland in taste. I had a chicken Sandwich with fries of course and my boyfriend had a different type of chicken sandwich with soup. The plates were well presented. I'm Hispanic so I don't mind a bit of seasoning in my food. It doesn't have to be alot but at least the salt and pepper to taste. I will be returning hopefully soon to this diner to try something else. Hopefully my review will be better. Overall it is a cozy place to visit and hang out for a warm meal. I loved loved 😍 the decorations. I just wanted to take pictures all day🤣🤣🤣.

Omega Diner has always been a great place for quality food in typical diner quantities. The menu is a typical 10 pages long with items from breakfast to dinner available anytime. There is plenty of room and thr staff is friendly and efficient. Try anything on the menu. Chances are great you will enjoy it. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Parking is good and they have handicap parking, ramps and front access.
