There is no network coverage there! It was one of the most beautiful falls I have seen. It's the best in the letchworth State Park, too. The thing I love the most about it is that it is so much more convenient to look at. Parking is so close, and it's just a 10 min walk with breathtaking views. If you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of baloons flying over the fall. We were lucky to see the train on the historic bridge. It was lovely and ice cream there is too good.

I didn't know that this was called "The Grand Canyon of the East" until we were there. But that is a good name. I've been to the Grand Canyon and this was definitely more beautiful!! My husband has been to Niagara Falls and he said this was better!! This is definitely a MUST SEE place!!!! And do Not allow one day. You'll need at least two full days. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Out of the three falls, lower falls is the most beautiful with a bridge and good steps to climb down. Upper falls is good but nothing special other than the bridge that makes it look different. Moreover, there is a steel stairs if you hike from middle falls. There is a parking lot if you don’t want to hike the steps. Lower falls is the most beautiful one with some hikes, River on the bridge and sliding water from the rocks. The steps were muddy due to rains. So, be prepared for it. If you love hiking, you can park your car at Inspiration point and hike to middle falls and upper falls. It took about 1.5 hours for me - both ways. And then drive to lower falls to park and hike down to the falls. Highly recommended if you are in the park.

Great place to explore for a day trip. Kid and dog friendly. Easy hiking trails with great views. Inspiration point is the most famous starting point. You can park your car here and do the whole hiking trail 1 in less than 3hrs, provided how many stops you make for pictures. Some of the paths can be a bit steep and slippery if the weather is rainy but overall a very nice and relaxing hike. Definitely stop at the Glenn Iris Inn for a drink and/or food.

The place is awesome for people who like to hike, there are more than 25 trails which are easy to moderate. They have a camping area which is awesome for people who love to stay overnight. The easy trails are good for even people who are aged so take along your parents and show them the beauty of the park. There are lots of places dedicated to picnics where you can cook and drink and have some good music to enjoy with your family and friends. I visited here last week of September which was not early for falls otherwise it would be a beautiful place to see the fall. I would highly recommend visiting here once during the fall 🍂

Letchworth State Park is a beautiful Park. I'm several times to great place to hike, camp, go white water rafting. And it's a beautiful place to see the hot air balloon festival. Once had an opportunity swim underneath a waterfall with rafting adventure.

Definitely do not pass this state park when you visit or pass through NYS. The lower falls are the best with parking at the top AND bottom of the water feature. Of course if you have been in the car for a while, it’s great to exercise. .

Beautiful waterfalls. There are three decks. Upper, middle, and lower. The entry fee to the park is $10 dollars. There are self pay machines like in many other state parks in NY. You can pay using a credit card. Soon after the entry you can see the bridge and a small parking area. There is a small trail of steps to reach the upper falls viewing point. The trail continues to middle and lower falls also. But those are drivable as well. Middle falls have the best views, bigger parking spaces and more people. The rainbow formations adds to the views of the area. Lower falls is also walkable from middle falls parking area. Drive further from the middle falls parking area, you will reach the canyon area, which looks great as well.

Letchworth is an all around great State Park. The falls are what drives everyone there, of course. We had such a great time. Good easy hiking to see all the falls.

Letchworth State Park's Upper Falls is a majestic wonder that captivates the senses. As water cascades down a 70-foot drop, a symphony of rushing sounds fills the air, creating an immersive experience. The view from the overlook is simply awe-inspiring, with the powerful waterfall framed by lush greenery and towering cliffs. The natural beauty of the surrounding gorge is truly breathtaking, offering countless opportunities for exploration and hiking. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply seeking tranquility, Upper Falls is a must-see destination that leaves an indelible mark on your soul.

Great park. Went to the southern end to see the gorge falls. Beautiful falls at multiple viewing areas. Very easily spend the entire day visiting the park. Lots of trails.

this park is out of this world. 10 stars. old stone work, trails, food, picnic & cookouts. even the picnic tables have great stone work, forgot your cell phone, no worries they have a coin operated phone booth. there some history for the kids. lol. even nice to drive through. clean, beautiful and then you have 3 huge waterfalls. this park has it all. need i say more. what are you waiting for. go man go!!!! anybody that gave this place these than 5 stars is clueless.

I would vote Letchworth a “Grand Canyon” of New York!! Good place for trekking hiking walking and taking some landscapes photos. Would recommend to visit here from May - November, especially in Fall season with fantastic foliage. Sometimes catch some little land snakes after rainy days here

Absolutely breathtaking. Easy trails with so much to see. Just be sure to screenshot directions out because you might lose service!

I stayed in Rochester and wanted to visit here before visit Niagara fall. I went on 12th December 2022 but the upper fall entrance was closed and redirect to the other entrance 4miles away. I decided to skip here and went straight to Niagara fall instead. Check the website for operation hours. Consider again visit over winter season.

Wonderful views. We got there early and it wasn't too busy.

Beautiful scenery & a well maintained park. We came in from the south entrance & drove the 17-mile park road to the north entrance. Although it is forested & shaded along much of the road, there are several very worthwhile pull offs to look at the canyon. If you're on your way elsewhere, do plan at least 2 hrs to do the road with some stops; a half-day is better. If your time is more limited, I suggest doing the south end where the 3 waterfalls are concentrated and then turning around to go back out. This park currently rates "best state park in the US" in some survey. Subjective for sure, but it's one of the best state parks I've ever seen!

Amazing place for some beautiful nature views. Pretty good hike trails and its also called grand canyon of the east for a reason. You can never stop getting amazed by the views this park has to offer around the year.
