Updated 10/21/21 I canceled my account, but they are still taking money from my bank account. Thieves! I’m a white card member that can only attend the gym I signed up at. They are closed for the rest of the month. I haven't received any type of notice, and they had no issue taking money out of my account yesterday. Members need to be compensated for the inconvenience. If we are allowed to attend another gym who’s to say that fits into our schedule based off of the distance of that next location and etc. I’M UPSET 😡

CLEAN THIS PLACE. Sweep regularly, pick up the paper towels all over the floor & stuffed in machines & clean up that repulsive bathroom. They were so dirty I had to leave & go home 20 minutes away to go to the bathroom.

My "commitment" in May so I sent emails on both months.....come August and they still charging me .....I called to complain and "oh you have to come in person to cancel and btw we would charge you anyway even thought you have not been here in many months!" Please read my previous review too: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Free personal trainer, additional perks for black car members and bla, bla, bla. REALITY: Try to catch the group instructor's hours (often there when the world is working) and please don't ask the other trainers for instructions, they will tell you they are the only ones at front desk therefore they cannot help you. $23 + monthly and $60 once a year. Did I mention you are stuck with them for one year? NO JUDGEMENT ZONE?? lol!!! I regret the moment I decided to join the gym. I deserve it for no doing my research first, please do yours!!!!

I was this morning at East Haven Planet Fitness Club, and I am very disappointed whit the people over there, I see every time I go people using the machines that they have signs of no to use them , but the people use them any way, I see people seaten down on the machines using the cel phone texting or watching videos for long time, if I want to use the machine I can't do it because people don't want to leave the machine and use the phone at the lobby, THE WORST THING IS THAT THE EMPLOYEES DON'T DO NOTHING ABOUT IT THE JUST STAY AT THE FRONT DESK!!!,,,, PLEASE ANY BODY CAN DO SOMETHING TO MAKE RESPECT THE GIM RULES!!!!

All I needed from this place was the 30-Minute Workout Zone. It would be great if the place educated its staff and members and would enforce the rules of the 30-Minute Workout Zone. In addition, if the staff would support those members who use the zone and follow its rules. Even after my initial review was posted, people were still allowed to hog machines in the 30-Minute Workout. They sit on those machines for 10-15 minutes checking their phones instead of rotating according to the traffic signal. Such practices render this gym useless to me. Update: on October 28, 2023, I terminated my membership after being a paying member since 2005. Jaxon processed my request. However, on November 17, I was charged again. What a dysfunctional place!

Customer service is really poor they don’t offer you anything but if you want to use the machine you could become a member. This is only my 4th PF Club but so far it is my favorite. I love how they have the cardio equipment upstairs overlooking the main hall

My son goes there every Saturday and he loves it because he can work on muscles for his arms and abs for his stomach. A big difference in him, since he has joined

Great place, never crowded. Very friendly staff. Locker rooms are clean and tidy.

East Haven location is 24hrs mon-fri and I absolutely love that. They also have a trainer that you can schedule a session with and have plenty of equipment and amenities for everyone.

Only my 3rd week and this morning my wife and I get there to find the place closed due to “unforeseen circumstances” Just what we need excuses from the place we joined to workout.

Two floors. The first floor is open for the most part and has a few well sectioned areas to allow for a little privacy. The upstairs is a great use of space also. I wish it was open later.

Normally I have no problem when I go but 2-3 poor customer service no staff at the front desk who knows where they are half the time but definitely not doing their job . Very disappointing couldn’t tan because no one was there so I left .

I really enjoy Planet Fitness East Haven. Smaller, older crowd (early mornings) and clean! Love that massage after my workout🫶🏾

My favorite place for a workout. Good neighborhood and a lot of parking. Staffs are helpful. However they always have something broken, and even a small problem takes forever to fix. For instance, their water fountains. Out of two water fountains, one is not working and another works partially. Except for that, it's very clean and proper place for a workout.

Great for working out, not hanging out! No one bothers me, not a fashion Mecca, just perfect for serious exercisers. Helpful staff too. Would recommend to anyone - really is a no judgement zone.

I signed up for a year contract and price taken out of my account monthly was 10.64, gym opens early and closed late for early morning people and for people who got off work late. The equipment was kept nicely and clean, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff even though I didn't pay for it will if you ask offer you tips on training and how to better position yourself and proper form in working out. My contract is up and I fell by the WAYSIDE but when I finally dedicate myself I'll be going back to this particular establishment.

I think its amazing. ..wow it just make you crave for motivation the trainers there are very kind and patient and the people from the front desk they are so welcoming as soon as you get there and you see what you can accomplish you will start I'm not stop until you reach your goal and even then stay motivated in Planet Fitness

I live in Los Angeles and belong to a gym out here, but I continued to pay my monthly fees so when I come home for 3-6 weeks a year, I can go to Planet Fitness in East Haven. It is the most welcoming and fully stocked gym I've ever been to. Everyone who works there is very friendly and should be rewarded :)
