Beautiful decor and a wonderful dining experience. The waiters were excellent and the food was beyond delicious. Best Lobster Bisque I have ever had. Creme brulee was incredible. Sea bass is the best tasting fish I have had in a long long time, seared to perfection. Yes I over ate, but it was my BIRTHDAY 🎂.

Enjoyed my Birthday Dinner here. Our reservation was easy and when we checked in, we were sat quickly. Our booth was intimate and spacious for two. Although, it was our third time here, our server was amazing. Our experience was excellent from beginning to the end. Drinks, bread basket, appetizers, and our meal was amazing as well as our dessert. Great place to have my birthday dinner.

Great service, tender, juicy steaks, and nice atmosphere. Even though this restaurant is inside the casino, the atmosphere was really nice. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor and tender. I even had dessert this time, the Tuxedo Cheesecake and it was DELICIOUS! I definitely suggest giving them a try if you’re a steak lover. They are a little pricey but it’s worth it.

I’m too full to discuss what happened. All I know is I’d do it again… assuming I recover from the food coma that’s setting in. Lobster bisque: Do. It. Bone-in ribeye 💯 Guava spritz with vodka 💯💯 Ice cream trio: dessert that doesn’t make you more full. Richest vanilla ice cream I have ever tasted. It’s an experience. Loved it. Only bar where it’s so top shelf, they have ladders.

Good dining experience and great atmosphere. The steaks were delicious but not as juicy as I would have liked. We ordered 3 steaks to share with the table and they cut them for us. That might have released all the juices but overall the food was still great. I bit expensive but most top notch steakhouses are

While the atmosphere was good abs our server was good, I’ve had many better dining experiences. My asparagus was not clean and was gritty. My wife’s steak was undercooked, sent back and came back undercooked. The manager did come over and take it off the bill but you think at a place known for steak that they could cook a steak. The steak was very natural no seasoning. They did have silver gray bernaisse sauce. Overall pretty disappointed. When I’m spending a few hundred dollars on dinner I have just come to expect better

What a great meal. Nicole our server was simply amazing, she truly made the evening special. Food was delicious, the raw bar sampler was fantastic, we had the ribeye and the A5. Both were perfect temp, the A5 melted in your mouth. I personally think the prices were very good, especially compared to Vegas prices. Thanks for the great evening!

I have eaten here many times, it has always been a very high end experience. Tonight was a little off putting service took way to long. The food was still great and the waiter was nice but everything just took way to long.

Went to Council Oak for the Sunday Brunch for my Wedding Anniversary with my wife. The brunch is simply amazing. So many options and everything was really good. Pancakes are made to order as is the omelets. The coffee crusted prime rib sliced by Butcher Ricardo was amazing. You simply can't go wrong doing this brunch especially with the selection of certain unlimited drinks.

Council Oak never disappoints. Started with the porkbelly bacon appetizer then the main course was phenomenal had a bone in ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes then they gave us free chocolates. Also had the best service from our waiter Mark. Mark paid very good attention to my party's needs. He was very nice and made excellent recommendations. I was in town from Chicago and next time I come back I'm definitely going to request Mark as my server.

We've been to Council Oak on several occasions and it never disappoints. The food and service are top-notch at this fine dining establishment in the Hard Rock Casino. This time around I tried one of the specials, which was a rack of lamb. When Matt said it would melt in my mouth, he was certainly right! D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! Plan your next date night or special occasion here.

I've been looking for an excuse to go to CO for a long time. Finally... it happened. Went with some friends so we could sample as much as possible. The steaks were nothing short of fantastic... as expected. In fact, all the food and service was excellent as expected. This place is not inexpensive so everything should be 'perfect'. So why not 5 stars? I loved the experience but could do without the cigarettes smoke/smell form the casino. For that... it's not 'perfect'.

Our experience here was exquisite! We went for my husband's birthday, they were very accommodating. Serviers are very professional and personable. Food was an experience in itself- AMAZING! We enjoyed everything we had from drinks, appetizers and steaks! Would definitely recommend trying. Going back for my anniversary!!

We live closer to the Hollywood location, but were traveling for work and decided to try out the Tampa location. WOW. The service and food was impeccable. 10 out of 10 for sure! The steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was presented perfectly.

Truffle chicken with wild mushroom 🍄 risotto was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite. I finished it all. I was surprised to have had such a filling portion of food (that's not the usual in a high-end fine dining restaurant). The chicken was so juicy and very flavourful 😋 I'm planning to return in 2 weeks

Just a tiny bit loud, but the service was incredible like INCREDIBLE service. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The view of the chefs in the kitchen behind the glass brought such a fun, unique and intriguing atmosphere. The calamari, bread, ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were all cooked and seasoned to perfection. All of this made for such a perfect 3 year anniversary dinner for my husband and I.

Labor Day weekend , great and amazing food. service was just as good not great but it was packed. Everything thing that touched my tongue was a taste of heaven. If you do one thing in Tampa come to the hard rock and hit a jackpot and come buy you a heaven steak from council oak.

So after a couple of bad experiences, we did go back, and they blew me out the water with how good everything was! Well done steak, and I could cut it with my fork! It's just amazing, and I would recommend it!

If you can afford an extra car payment go to dinner here....the food is absolutely outstanding! The best scallops I have EVER had! (creamed spinach with bacon) Sam's ribeye was unreal...they do all the meats in house and cook everything in front of you 😊💯

This is our 3rd time here, it's our splurge when we decide to hit the casino. Put our name on the list for the bar this time, wait was about an hour but plenty to do in the meantime. 😉 Food was delish, as always! Got a different bottle of wine than our usual and it did not disappoint. We also got to enjoy a 2 piece band for a bit. Great night out with my honey!

This was the ultimate dining 🍽 experience. 5 star restaurant ✨️ 😋. Loved the dress code. The food and wine were phenomenal 👌. The staff was very personable and very friendly. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all items on the menu. The wine 🍷 list was very extensive. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

If it wasn't for the horrid service here I would have definitely given this restaurant a 5 star. The food, although pricy, is wonderful. We asked for peppercorn on our steaks to give it a little extra flavor. They sit you relatively quickly, although once you get to the table you are left sitting there for a good 10 minutes or more before someone even shows up to bring you water and ask for your drink order. After that, give about 5 more minutes at a minimum for bread, which is a hit and miss if they have any left depending on the hour. The first time we came was in the afternoon and we got bread. The second time was after 10pm and they were out. After you get the bread, again if they have any give it about 5 more minutes to receive your drink, unless it is alcoholic, them give at least 10 to fifteen. So here we are at a wait time of already 20 to 35 minutes. Now, finally we get the waiter yo show his face again to take the order. Likr I said the good is superb although their staff is horrendous. And as I'm writing the review out steaks and asparagus show up and the asparagus is burnt and he gave me a bone in steak when I asked for boneless. There is a huge difference in flavor and texture yo me, and his solution was to just cut the bone off. I believe 3 stars is more sufficient then 5 at this point. Update: Patrick the manager came over and fixed everything. I did not think to take photos although he changed and re cooked my steak and brought fresh asparagus as well as dessert. I changed to a 4 star after he fixed it.

I love this restaurant. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. The steaks are aged 28 days and you can cut them with a fork. The service is impeccable and even though they are very busy they take the time to make you feel like your the only one in the room. We celebrated my husband's birthday and shared the wedge salad which was huge on both our plates. They gave us complimentary champagne and home made chocolates for his birthday celebration. I've been here many times and will return again.

The restaurant build out is really nice ... it's a great atmosphere for sure. The wait staff is extremely personable and friendly. They refill water the second you put down your cup. (a bit much) The Food: Well ... it's very OK ... sad and sorry to say. I had a salad with blue cheese dressing. I LOVE blue cheese dressing and it's my first key indicator as to the rest of the meal. The blue cheese dressing had NO chunks of blue cheese at all. On top of that ... it lacked any serious steak house blue cheese dressing flavor ... The steak: Dry aged bone in ribeye ... Very good ... that's it ... just very good. It you had that nirvana steakhouse experience before ... and chase those moments ... (as me and my pal do ... ) you may not find it here.

The ribeye was delicious! It was cooked to perfection! The lobster mac & cheese was phenomenal! There were chunks of lobster in it that you could actually taste, unlike others I've had.

AWESOME stuff! You just can’t beat quality, you know it’s good when it takes forever just for a reservation of two! Amazing food that will blow you away, you just can’t beat a quality steakhouse. I’ve been to many places, with prices almost double the prices here, but these steaks, are top notch! Can’t beat something like this.

Couldn’t have asked for better food, service or experience. Our party of 8 was celebrating a birthday and the service was outstanding. Everyone was attentive, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing. Everyone agreed by far the best steaks in Central Florida. We will absolutely be back and definitely recommend as a go-to restaurant.

My wife Dee, son Jason, and I wanted to celebrate Jason's birthday at a nice restaurant so we decided to try Council Oak Steak and Seafood. We all had the Filet Mignon, it was the absolute best Steak we had ever eaten. The Server, Matthew, was spot on, tending to our every need, with his great personality and skills as a well trained server. We will absolutely be back.

Very delicious food with excellent service. Our waiter was honest and very helpful; we enjoyed speaking with him throughout the night. He gave us some free lobster bisque for our dinner arriving late and dessert at the end of the night.

We had dinner reservations which upon arrival we had to wait maybe 10 mins. I guess they were backed up. Only thing I have negative to say which was real disappointing is I feel we were a bit neglected when no one acknowledged my birthday celebration. I would expect a high end restaurant to at least bring forth drinks or desert for the birthday guest... Everywhere else offers guests an accommodating special celebration and try to make it a personal experience. I'm a little bummed out about that I must say. I'll probably celebrate elsewhere now that I know this, next time! Fine dining usually entails this story of thing... Maybe they forgot being busy... But still. The service was alright but they did come around refill water glasses and ask how our meals were prepared or if needed anything. Our waitress was a nice bright young lady who helped answer or questions about the menu. Food came out pretty fast for it being so busy. The table position which we were seated seemed a little close to the other tables beside us. If your looking for privacy it may be an issue. I heard there was live jazz musicians playing, but you can only witness it from a separate room altogether (different than where we were seated). Now to the food portion... I ordered a 12oz sirloin steak (medium rare), asparagus with hollandaise sauce, garlic mashed potatoes with a vanilla cocktail (name slipped my tongue). My mom ordered the fillet mignon with the lobster bisque and we shared sides... The food prepared was excellent and I enjoyed the food presentation as well as portion sizing. My mom says the lobster bisque was the best she's ever had! Our signature cocktails were sweet and savory too. There are 3 types of complimentary breads to pair with whipped butter when first seated. The raisin bread one I highly recommend. We were starving so it was a nice addition too. Don't get me wrong... Overall, I'd say it was a very unique dining experience.. But kind of squished in a bit too close for comfort where you can hear others as if they were sitting at your table. Pricing is high, but food was good quality. We probably spent about close to $200 for 2 people after taxes + tip. You'd figure that cost also supported special occasions, I suppose not. For lack of paying any attention or acknowledgement to my birthday celebration has brought down my rating.. I had high expectations for this place and service. I wanted to feel wined and dined after dressing up for the occasion. Good food though.
