This was an amazing adventure and one we have been waiting for on our trip down to the Sarasota area. Neither of us had kayaked before and wanted to experience this on our 6th anniversary trip. This was so much fun and our guide was the BEST! Steffen did an amazing job keeping everyone together and educating us on the area from history to present events taking place in and around the Lido Key area. We will be booking a return trip next time down for sure. Highly recommend Kayaking SRQ and their services. You will even get restaurant suggestions afterwards for lunch and dinner around St. Armand's Circle. We had a late breakfast at the Blue Dolphin at the circle. 5 Star experience for this outfit for sure!

We had an awesome tour with Stephen, he was very enthusiastic and passionate about wildlife and the Florida ecosystem. He was very informative. The Lido Key Mangrove Tunnels is a must do for anyone that loves nature.

So this is our second time to this park. We first took a guided tour through the mangrove tunnels with a different company. This time we went free range. Definitely more our style but it was nice to have a run through with a guide first. The guys at SRQ are amazing, there are like 7 different vendors at this one location, and I am sure they are all great. BUT, I didn’t realize they have 2 locations about 30 minutes apart! Booked online and showed up here, wrong location!? They were so helpful and said it happens and got us on the water seamlessly!

This was by far the best kayaking experience I’ve had. Initially it was cloudy and storm-like, so Jeff called us to ensure we were aware before coming in the afternoon and even offered to come some other time and honor our reservation if needed. We decided to go earlier than 2pm instead and Jeff made sure our reservations were updated to 12pm to fulfill our last minute choice. He let us call him and take as long as we needed to make rescheduling logistics. Upon arrival, we were instantly pleased with how nice and understanding he was. Turns out, the weather changed and it was sunny as it could ever get. So glad we decided to go for it! He gave us detailed references and maps. The kayaks were impeccable and in place for us. He made sure we had safety precautions, our phones, and some water. We found the hidden beach he mentioned, SO WORTH IT! We had the whole beach to ourselves! It was beautiful! Will come again for sure!

We had the best tour guide, Steve! We had him all to ourselves and it was wonderful! Steve is knowledgeable, professional and super friendly! I learned things I never knew about all the animals living in the sea! We highly recommend Kayaking SRQ!! Thanks again, Steve!

The guide and trip was amazing. James did an excellent job taking care of us. He made sure we all had sunscreen and water. We were initially torn between guided or just renting kayaks. I would recommend guided tours. James showed us things we would have never seen by finding manatees, let us hold other small wildlife, and explained everything. Well worth the few extra dollars for guided trip. He even towed the little one when she couldn't paddle further

Wonderful morning on the water! We were lucky enough to see a few manatees and dolphins, plus our guide found numerous small sea life for us to examine close up. The mangroves were beautiful and we loved learning about there origin and purpose!

This kayaking tour is amazing!! The tour guide (Jeff wood) is awesome! He’s extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the history of this part of Florida and of the foliage and wildlife! He is soooo nice!! We were able to see a few manatees and “played” with them! ❤️ we would definitely recommend this tour!! We love the manatees!

Jesse is a five star tour guide at kayaking SRQ. I had a great time with him. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He loves kayaking, the outdoors, and fishing. I went on his kayak mangrove tour and his fishing tour. Both are fantastic. We saw manatees, dolphins, and caught red fish on the fishing tour. The mangroves on the regular tour were amazing. Highly recommend. You won’t regret booking a tour with this company!

Excellent crew got us sorted and launched as soon as we got there. Kayaks and equipment are in great condition. Saw lots of wildlife around Lido key including osprey, cormorants, pelicans and a juvenile manatee near Otter Key!

Captain Bob, was the Best. Took my Love on a private sunset tour and we had the absolute best time. We saw so much and enjoyed ourselves more than you could imagine. Absolutely would recommend this to everyone. We will be back again.

My first time kayaking and it was so fun! I am a 65 year-old grandma and I was scared at first, but James Kinsey, our guide quickly put me at ease. He explained how to use the paddle and encouraged me along the way. I enjoyed the three mangrove caves, got stuck once and James came to my rescue! I even held a live sea urchin. Thanks for a great adventure!

Our guide was Sky, who was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. Unfortunately we didn’t see much wildlife but that wasn’t anyones fault. Luckily that didn’t matter because it was such a pleasant, relaxing and fun little adventure that we are already planning to go again. We’re going to request Sky because he made the 2hrs much more fun. My 12yo had the time of her life and can’t stop talking about it!

Newbies, Family of 6. Free Range 3 hr . We took off & headed to mangrove tunnel #3 & came out to a lagoon area, took tunnel #4 back to the sandbar[took 2 hrs]. Enjoyed a nice swim [1 hr] & back to base. Price was affordable, experience was absolutely beautiful. We were able to fit a small cooler on one kayak. They gave us 2 dry bags we used those for phones & keys & snacks. Life jackets provided if you need them. Sandbar was clean & overall only footprints left behind. The mangroves were so unique & easy to navigate. Such a magical experience this Father's day weekend.

Highly recommend this guided group tour through the mangroves! I was a bit nervous to do a tour by myself but my guide Darryl "Seabiscuit" was very friendly and fun and made sure everyone was comfortable and involved. He was super knowledgeable and found jellyfish, sea urchin, and starfish for us to see and touch. Would love to come back here in the future :)

Had a great experience! Our guide was Josiah Jones and he was excellent! So knowledgeable about eco system, birds and cares about conservation. Best two hours spent in the gorgeous mangroves. We will be back to rent!

This was a fun, relaxing and informative kayaking tour! Easy to book online. Staff was great. Lee Gerrish was our tour guide and he really knew his stuff, was friendly, and funny. Would definitely recommend this tour business and Lew as a guide - can’t go wrong!

We did a Siesta Key kayak tour (two kids, three adults) and had a great time. Our tour guide Jeff was friendly and helpful. The wind was working against us for most of the tour, and we had an 8 and 9 year old, so we didn’t get to explore quite as much but everyone still loved the tour. Jeff shared some history of the island, some cool info about osprey and other birds, showed us the old shark tank, and found us a few conchs. We could’ve rented the kayaks and gone to the same places but we would’ve missed out on all the great knowledge! 10/10 recommend.

Had a great time! Our guide Stefan was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of information about the local wildlife and area. He was so great with our 9 year old son and even remembered all our names. He made it a lot of fun and felt like we were kayaking with an old friend. The bay was beautiful and the mangroves were amazing! We highly recommend!
