Terrible office management! As a former military member I can honestly say that Tricare needs to pull their recommendations for this Urology group! First and foremost, there is nothing wrong with the physician and the PA-C working there…the entire blame falls on the office administrator and the entire nursing and administrative support staff. It’s terrible! No one answers the phone, no one returns calls, I’ve even attempted to reach them with repeated faxes…and nothing! I’ve been calling hourly for the past 3 days, often times leaving messages to no avail. Today, I am physically heading down there to speak with the office manager and the PA-C about the level of management care and support from their staff and to decide if I want to continue being seen there anymore. The lobby is crowded and the overflow kicks outside and into the parking lot…it looks like a line to an Opioid clinic. There’s an over abundance of elderly patients, and after the usual waiting and casual conversations, we have shared our frustrations with trying to be seen with complete disappointment. You can read all the 1 star negative reviews and see the targeted 5 star positive reviews, they’re so obvious. It’s disappointing with the level of negligent administrative care from this office staff. I’m guessing their level of thinking is for every 1 they lose, Medicare kicks 5 more their way so who cares? Apparently, they don’t concern themselves with the reviews about them. MAYBE IT IS TIME TO SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE? I’ll find out today after my meeting! I encourage people to read the reviews before you attempt to see this FLORIDA UROLOGY PARTNERS GROUP!

Unprofessional, unresponsive, and contemptuous medical assistants. I was transferred to Dr. Padron when my previous physician moved. I never saw Dr. Padron; the Physician Assistant conducted a routine examination and ordered a refill of my previous medication. They did not submit the prior authorization form to my insurance for the prescription refill. This required numerous telephone calls to try to resolve since you can’t talk to medical assistants but only leave messages that weren’t returned unless you repeatedly left them. Medical assistant Damara eventually returned my calls and asked me to stop by the office to leave insurance information. Despite being the exact information they used to bill my initial office visit without any issues I followed her instructions. My insurance later denied a refill claim that had been previously accepted. After talking to my insurance company there were a couple of more weeks of unreturned calls to determine if a change of diagnosis resulted in the denial. Medical assistant Steven ultimately returned my calls to discuss the matter. Although skeptical of his explanation, without my medical file, I was left with no other option than trying to find another pharmacy that could fill the prescription cheaper. I requested he mail me another prescription since the original one was electronically sent to the pharmacy. He confirmed my address and agreed to mail me the prescription. More ignored calls and two weeks later - two months since my office visit - I haven’t received the prescription that they are either unwilling or too incompetent to send. If you’re looking for a urologist - look elsewhere - you can do better.

This place is the worst! From the doctor to the staff, they are rude, uncaring, and should not be in the medical industry. Dr. Padrón is the worst of them all. Unfortunately, my mother was assigned to him when at the hospital, and we didn't know any better. Moments before entering surgery, his biggest concern was making sure his office had her insurance information so he can get paid (which of course was all taken upon admission the day before). Then, we had to go to his office for a follow-up appointment. The staff was just as horrendous in person as they were over the phone. Their waiting room was entirely full with standing room only. After waiting an hour and a half after the schedule appointment we learned 3 other people in the waiting room were scheduled at the same time. This office is not large enough and doesn't have the number of doctors to triple up on their appointments, it's all about the money. As long as they can get you in the door, get your money (which is due upon signing in) then they couldn't care less about your state of health. My mother was seen almost two hours after her appointment time. I would never go back to his office or seek his services.

I would not recommend this doctor's office to anyone. They really just seem to care about the money. We have been at this office 3-4 times and since the first visit they have been pushing a procedure we feel is not necessary. My partner, who is the patient, is still having symptoms after almost a year. When we requested an appt and to be specifically seen by the doctor, we were blindsided and got seen by the PA. Nothing against the PA, we just wanted the opinion of the doctor. We were told by front office staff that the doctor had a family emergency and had to leave and thats why we were going to be seen by the PA. When we were leaving, we saw the doctor at the office, seeing other patients. What is more unbelievable than anything is that being a Urology office, they dont know the name/code of the labs they order. The provider orders a test and then the office staff writes the prescription but they dont even know the right thing to order. We are stuck with a bill for over $250 for a lab that was ordered incorrectly and had to be repeated. We went to the office as we feel we should not be responsible to pay for a bill they ordered incorrectly and were told they were going to take care of it. Its been over a month, still nothing has been done. My partner just went again yesterday to speak with the office manager, she was not at the office, was told that the message would be passed on and when he tried to call today no one picked up the phone. Stay as far away as you can!

I love Dr. Alvarez for his professionalism, level of care, and empathy. However, this is absolutely the worst managed medical office I've ever seen. The office staff comes off as moody, lazy, and inattentive. You get the feeling that you're always an inconvenience to them. A positive attitude would go a long way. What makes matters worse is that every single appointment I've had (about six), I was seen an hour or more later. I had to take PTO to make some of these appointments and always ended up getting back to work much later than expected. I'm sure other patients are equally as upset to have to block off a half of a day for a 10 minute appointment. I understand there's some walk-in's and emergencies, but it's clear to me this place over schedules. I would love to continue to be Dr. Alvarez's patient but unfortunately but if that means I have to endure his office, I may have to pass.

Dr. Padron is great, he has good bedside manner and takes time to explain things and answer questions. Unfortunately some of the staff members are unprofessional every single appointment that we schedule they call and reschedule it then tell us if we cancel again they will not see us even though THEY are needing to change the appointment. My husband was in recently and the staff where making rude comments about him because of the scheduling fiasco and confusion. We will be looking for a new urologist which is a shame because it's hard to find a good doctor, but the consistent scheduling issues and unprofessional staff leave us no choice.

A huge thank you to Dr. Osvaldo Padron. Dr. Padron performed surgery on my father on January 28th & my father is incredibly happy with the quality of the surgery & quality of care all around. He made my father feel comfortable and at ease during such a worrisome time. We are so grateful my father chose Dr. Padron. Fast forward one month & my father is doing better than he's been in years! He is recovering nicely, his confidence is back and is excited for a healthier future. Dr. Padron gained a raving fan.

Had a 3 pm appt. After an hour and 20 minutes, I go up and ask "Is the doctor going to see me?" The receptionist said "Oh, we for got about you. We will get you right in." I waited 10 more minutes, no one called so I took that as they cancelled my appt. Complete waste of my time. Worse, this happened to 2 other people, one said it was the 3rd time in 11 weeks they forgot. Stay away!

"HORRIBLE SERVICE" The entire Office is BADLY ORGANIZED, WAITS ARE TRUELY "FOREVER" forget about Calling and leaving important messages, is a waste of your healthy TIME. The Office is always packed with upset people and forget about social distance. EL PEOR SERVICIO QUE PUEDE DAR UNA OFFICINA DE MEDICO. Would advise Dr. Padron to act Immediately. The reviews says it all.

The truth is that the doctor may be the best but the wait has no comparison because they give appointments and they will not attend to you at the time of the appointment. I arrive at 10:30 am and it is 12:05 and they still have not attended, God knows. At what time does one leave here, the truth is abusive.

Horrible service. You'll wait an hour before they even see you. Tells you you have a payment due from a previous visit they told you nothing about.

Doctor Padron is a great human being and an excellent Doctor. He operated me for urethral stenosis, making me a uteroplasty, a condition that tormented me for years since I was 13 years old he advised me in the process and had the patience to deal with me since I didn't I had medical insurance and I had to see him every 6 months for dilation and others for cystoscopy. If I didn't have an operation, I would die from urinary obstruction with kidney failure! The truth is he is a great Doctor and he has a great heart. I thank God for putting him in my path and saving my life. The administrative issue is not their fault as they have an excess of appointments and sometimes the staff has trouble organizing but they have some very good girls and I know they do their best. So be patient, understand that you are being treated by a very sought-after Doctor, the office is never empty, that says it all, do not be confused by comments, let yourself be carried away by all the patients who visit him, they are always full. God bless Doctor Padro and all his staff! Hablan español!

Started treatment on my husband and cancelled with our insurance without telling him. Had husband come all the way to Tampa for an appointment, made him wait, called him up to pay and oh we don't take your insurance anymore. Very unprofessional!!!!!!

Dr. Padrón and his medical assistant Damara are easy to work with, caring, and explain everything thoroughly. Olga, who orders the medication used during appointments, has dropped the ball a few times, causing gaps in my treatment, which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

Terrible service, I do not recommend it at all, they ordered me to do a sperm culture on one occasion and when I went and took it where they indicated and waited 20 days for the next appointment as soon as it arrived they told me that they did not have the results because they had been lost, then I got them They had it done again and the story was repeated. Super unpleasant experience. I don't recommend it to anyone.
