Nahoon Point Lighthouse

Tourist attraction

😠 Do not even attempt to go to the actual lighthouse, it looks like it's been closed for ages, also you may very well get stuck at the top when you get there

Please do not drive to the lighthouse. You are better off parking your car at the beachfront . The road is terrible unless you are in a 4by4

This lighthouse is unfortunately run down and not really accessible. It’s best to walk here following the coastal trail. There are some beautiful views over the ocean from the lighthouse.

Wheelchair accessibility - Parking - no designated parking Restaurant - ramp good Ablution facilities - no access Boardwalk to look-out points was accessible but needs to be cleared of sand (dune reclaiming boardwalk) in places Mercedes-Benz and Buffalo City Metro we can do better with accessibility πŸ™πŸ™

What a lovely walk along the beach h area.....except the amount of rubbish that was all over the beach. We as humans simply don't care at all.

The boardwalk has been washed away in a flood, but beautiful coastline. There's even a chance to see Peregrine Falcons
