I checked in during loadshedding when there was eventually electricity i noticed the dstv decoder was not plugged because there was no 2point plug in i informed the lady she said she will sort it out i then used my own plug so long.The next morning i went for breakfast i remind the lady again because now i need my plug to charge my phone she said i can charge my phone in the kitchen where they prepare food.Still i was fine with it but around 11 i needed my phone and also want to watch the rugby on tv.I asked the lady again because it seems that's not priority to them if i can not use the tv by then the husband intervene and ask me why is there no plug and he can not understand assuming i might have stole it when i checked in.He said 'they' steal everything and i ask him who is they he is referring to. I told him in this industry people will take stuff and he can not think or assume everybody is thieves.The tv is 20' very small my other colleague even had a black and white tv.The man didn't greet after his outburst My stay was very unpleasant but i was forced to stay there because we were a group.The breakfast half thin sausage,1rasher bacon,2 eggs,plain mushroom,half tomato and 2 slices of bread and thats everyday. I will never recommend that place to anyone i still wonder how they get 4 stars.

JANET AND Nicole, are excellent host, they did so much effort to let our netball team feel at home. We did enjoy our stay so much and will most definitely return. The facility is need and beautiful.

This is a wonderful bnb and the service is impeccable. I have never had any problems in the time that I have visited. It's worthwhile for you to go check it out.

Absolute pleasure

The owners were particularly abrasive and rather racist. The owner blatantly accusing a guest of being drunk simply because he was holding a cooler box. Notwithstanding that the person holding the cooler box had not been drinking and that the cooler box had milk and cold drink in it. If you are black and excited for whatever reason like maybe you have booked the place out to attend a function, I would recommend you try elsewhere. Our comings and goings were policed like we were school kids.

Not the best place to go to if you are trying to have a bit of fun. Deon and Janet can be uptight if they choose too, I wouldn't recommend if for excited people.

This place is absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. Very clean and pleasant environment.

Owner got into verbal altercation with one of my colleagues after he complained that there's no 2 point plug in the room to connect the tv and the owner accused him of stealing the plug, claiming that there was a plug in the room.

Very clean place but terrible on hospitality. They don't have parking for their guests until they sign in, you have to literally park on the road, get out and come sign in before you will be given parking space. They don't offer dinner but when you book they don't tell you. When you check in they slap you in the face with R200 rands so you can do with as you wish. They don't bring the iron to the room... They have a small ironing room with no light. Overall, a clean but unfriendly place

The place is beautiful but my only problem is i mostly get room 2 and the shower door is not friendly to me.

The place needs an upgrade the room walls are piling/mold and ants are an issue

Traveled to East London for business and stayed at the Absolute Cornwall BnB for 4 months. Most of my stay was at the main BnB in Vincent, but if you are looking for something more leisurely, ask to see their private facility about 1km away- the top floor suite there has a stunning view over the Nahoon River! I moved into the top floor suite at the end of my stay and it was so worth the wait! The highlights of my stay was the friendly service from the whole team, clean room, laundry service, hearty homely meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you ask early enough , you can get a creamy bowl of porridge on a chilly morning! As a lady traveler, I found the place to be incredibly safe and secure.The central location made it easy to travel for work and easy to get to the more fun & scenic parts of EL on weekends. I thoroughly made use of all the facilities - reliable internet & table space when working from home. The main BnB has an inverter so goodbye load shedding - you will definitely enjoy your favourite series, warm meals and ironed clothes throughout your stay ! :)

So far. Not as good as other 3 star Lodges I've been to. Following morning, I was warmly welcomed and had a good English breakfast. Greatfull for understanding our problems with the travel agent.

Place is suitably placed & neat. I just did not like the idea of just been dished for at all, you may decide what you cook but give me an opportunity to say of what you have cooked, what do i want to eat. Your dinner time is too short so am forced to eat then like a prisoner even if not ready as am not allowed to take food to the room.

Always awesome... doesn't disappoint.

I have stayed at Absolute Cornwall several times over the past 6 years as I no longer have a base in the Eastern Cape. Every time just gets better and better as Deon and Janet and their team keep on making it a fantastic experience. The facilities have always been spotless and the service incredible - nothing seems to be too much effort for these fine folks. I look forward to my next visit.

No aircon and a very noisy fan made for an uncomfortable night. Small bedroom and old style TV. Breakfast was the usual eggs, bacon and sausage. For me - nothing that was exceptional. Worthy of the 4 stars? I think not.,...
