About two minutes off 5 freeway on Eastern Ave (north bound) easy access on Olympic Blvd. Usually drop by here before Dodger games to get burritos and tacos. Never had any issues with quality of the food here like the other location #29. Line may be longer during lunch time but consistency taste of food brings me back here all the time! 4.4 stars 🌟

Really good Mexican food! For the prices compared to other places where the food isn't authentic, you can't beat that.

Right off the freeway experience. Choose dinner time Al pastor burrito which is great because it's whole beans and not refried beans. I love the hot salsa which it's famous for.

This is a very different King Taco than I'm used to compare to Glendale and Downtown LA. The ones I been to has all been indoor which this one is not. There not a lot of parking and only like 6 tables open out of like 20 due to social distancing. The line wasn't too long when we got there and we were able to find parking in the back. We ordered like 5 Carne asada tacos and my fiancée got her sopes. It took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready. When we got to the window, the lady had to ask us if our order was Carne asada or el pastor which we told her Carne asada. But when we got home and open the foil, it was all el pastor so we were really bummed. I had their quesadillas here before when my fiancée got it for me and my stomach didn't agree with it. So I'm not planning on ordering from this King Taco location next time.

Horrible! Got a hair in my food and told the guy in the front and he said " funny how you ate it and then you got a hair" . I was like I'm not asking for my money, I'm only advising you. So rude! little do they know is an extremely health violation. Never again !!! Worst place!

We really don't care of the atmosphere. It's a order and leave kind of place. Big order they handle it amazing 👏. They explain took the time. Just like they need to be. They were fast on a Thursday 430pm. Sopes extra crispy de asada.

I always enjoy food at King Taco. Quality is standard across there many branches however one can rest assured that the food will be good in each one. This time I'm giving it only four stars to this Branch because the dining room is kind of cold and substandard compared to their other branches. If you are ordering food to go definitely I will go to this Branch they have decent parking.

I bought 4 Carne Asada Burritos and all 4 fell apart, the Tortilla wasn't cooked properly. All 4 Burritos were lacking meat, it was as if we purchased a Burrito of rice & beans only. Definitely not worth the long line wait, will not be going back!!!

I came here craving a burrito , very little meat in the burrito and the salsa roja is bad tastes like tomato paste. The king taco on Pasadena is 10 times better. I will not be going back to this location ever .

Stopped by after a concert with some family and I enjoyed more than I thought. I didn't know that they had tamales and atole. I'm not sure if it's a seasonal thing but they were both delicious. Would definitely go back for that again. My wife got some tacos and she enjoyed them very much as well.

Horrible food, stale, and for being a Mexican taco joint… they didn’t have any Mexican favorite condiments or drinks. I asked do you have cilantro separate? No. Do you have limes or lemons? No. Do you have Mexican coke or coke at all? No. Not an authentic Mexican LA taco joint. You guys are a disgrace. All about the money for you guys

They're food used to be amazing. There portions are insanely little. They serve you out of caged window. Stick to your local street vendor for bang for your buck.

Food was good! The place has not changed since the last time ther I was there 5yrs or 6rs ago. The usual sketchy puppets and the police.

Alright we like king taco's nachos im not gonna lie I wasn't a big fan but I like them now, my girl got me hooked, but they have been selling carnitas tacos, more like chicharron en salsa, well they're good so now my girl still gets the nachos and shares with me and I get my carnitas tacos and I don't have to share lol. The only bad thing at this location is that they take foreeeeeevvvveeeerrr, but if you are not in a hurry I recommend this place.

Everything pretty average. They were pretty slow on a Thursday around 4pm. It wasn't busy so it was surprising how slow they went. Friendly staff though. I would double check my orders though. They messed up my agua Fresca and had to go back to he window and tell them. Which took time since they were pretty slow to begin with.

They really skimp out on the meat at this location, basically had a bean and rice burrito rather than the King Taco asada burrito I know and love. And the sopes are usually stacked with cabbage and cheese but these barely had any, it would have at least made up for the lack of meat in the sopes. Never going to this location again :(

Did a phone order so I wouldn't wait for food there but it was a disappointment when I got there. My order wasn't made and I had to wait like the rest of the people who ordered in person. Don't try to order through the phone because they just ignore it.

I think this place has declined quite a bit over the years. They used to have decent tasting tacos and food. Today, I had their tacos and was disappointed. The service was average. The staff at the window are multi-tasking and not often listening to your order. I had to repeat myself numerous times. When I was finally called for my order, the woman walked away to get my order and took quite some time. I asked for extra salsa and didn't get it. When I finally had my food at the table, the tortillas were cold and hard. It seemed like they gave me someone else's food that was never picked up and sitting on their counter for a bit. It was upsetting, to say the least. The only positive about my food was the jamaica. It was reasonably tasty and not super sweet. Go to another taco spot. I dont think this one is worth it any longer. There are so many taco shops in the area competing for your business that I am sure there are plenty of others with better quality food and service.

Great food. Workers are nonchalant, takes forever to order and get your food. Sometimes feels it's not worth the wait

I love King Taco's Al Pastor. We had never eaten at this location. We got off the freeway to get gas and came upon it. I convinced my daughter to finally try the Al Pastor I rave about. Well, I was shocked. Our plates were swimming in grease. We were squeezing grease out of the tacos. The meat was mushy. What? Yes. You heard right. This has NEVER happened at any King Taco. We were hungry and ate the tacos. Both of us had stomach aches the whole afternoon. I think they scooped up meat from the bottom of the container. We got the mush and grease that settles before they refill with fresh meat. The plates were like that when we got them, so the server had to have seen it. We chose not to say nothing, as we do not plan to return there. Even worse, the atole at King Taco has been my mom's favorite since the 70s. She got one and it had no thickness. It was watery. It was pretty much murky sugar water. So disappointed.

What can I say? They don’t call it the king for no reason. Exquisite five star food and service is simply the standard for king taco.

Food is good but the wait time is between 20 to 30 minutes for 2 sopes and nachos. Ridiculous

All hail the King. What can I say... King Taco is a classic. Been visiting the king for 32 years now. Every time I pass by one I have to stop for my Al Pastor burrito with everything on it (red sauce). Their sopes and tacos are also amazing. The sopes and tacos have to be eaten on the spot whereas you can order a bunch of burritos and live off them for days. If the Zombie apocalypse happens, I hope I'm stuck in a KT. PS... Their red sauce is the absolute best and in my opinion is what takes their food to the next level. A MUST GO.

If Mexican Fast Food is whar youre looking for you Cant go wrong stopping here. For me CARNE ASADA burrito with Red Salsa(fire) hits the spot....oh and they have tamales all year long.

Good food. Could use some decorations, and some sound protection, as the highway and busy street can be very loud at times. Tables could use some cleaning and some of the chairs were broken. Parking is limited due to the space of the land.

Ok maybe is just me or they have lost the taco taste, the tacos looked like they were dipped on cooking oil instead of asada they looked like fried meat tacos, secondable it takes way too long to form on the line and get the tacos, 50 minutes is long time. Take this as positive criticism and better up the system please.

Been eating at various LA king tacos for 25 years. Delicious food. Decent prices. HORRIBLE wait times regardless of which King Taco you visit in LA. They are stingy with their salsa. Management needs to address these 2 issues.

Stopped by for some lunch on my way to a freestyle festival and was not disappointed 😊 I ordered asada tacos with Jamaica. Food was hot fresh and ready within minutes of ordering. We decided to eat under the shaded patio and although it was a warm day it was enjoyable.

Everything is finger linking good. My favorite are the cheese tamales and those taquitos de pastor. Green or red salsa are the bomb and goes with anything! Enjoy!

Line took long but worth the wait! Nachos were delicious with fresh jalapeño. The burrito I got was huge. Super cheap and great food. With lots of options.

Food is great as usual. Personally I love the asada sopes and tacos al pastor with an Horchata or Jamaica. Green chili on the side but go with the red if you like it super spicy. The service was super slow, took about an hour from ordering until we got our food, but it was clearly because they were short handed, so just be patient. It was worth it.

Not only was the wait unacceptable (35 minutes for 2 items), but the food was stale. Disappointed and frankly heart broken. I use to go to King Taco everyday for lunch, I loved this place! What happened? After waiting in the long line I ordered a quesadilla and a burrito. Then I waited. and waited. 28 minutes later I hear my number called, finally! Time to get my grub on. But sadly the wait is not over, the lady just wants to confirm my order at window #3. Hungry and emaciated I continue to wait 8 more minutes by the window while other patrons ask when their food will be ready. I try to smile and make small talk with other patrons about how busy they must be. After being handed my order I have to beg for sides of their green sauce. When I get to my car I immediately start ripping apart the quesadilla and biting into the burrito. Yes I'm starving and the melted cheese is divine, their delicious green salsa reminds me of past happy memories - but i quickly realize the tortillas are soggy and falling apart, the rice is hard and stale, and the meat is bland - and what is going on with their funky beans? I was so disappointed after waiting for so so long. I ask myself, why are so many patrons waiting for such mediocre food?? Don't we deserve better after paying $20?!? I never write restaurant reviews but I have to warn you that this place is overrated, you'll wait for a long time for your food, and you will probably be disappointed in what you get for your hard earned money. You deserve better, WE deserve better!
