This s**t makes no sense that I was on hold for 3 hrs nd 45 mins .. and still was holding until 10 mins after closing time. The day before I was on hold for 2 1/2 hrs no one answers returns calls. What’s the point in having a number to call if no one answers

My mom just came from there she was literally crying the way they spoke to her because they talk to you like you are a DOG!! Told her that she did her recert after the due date. Which she has proof she submitted it 7 days before the due date and lady said she see the mistake but was still nasty. This treatment to people need to stop they act like she is taking the money out her own pockets. They need to do better.

I have been hung up on 3 times when just trying to ask a question. This is completely inappropriate for an office. I run an office, I do not treat my clients like this. This office needs to do better and answer the phone. Don’t like your job, quit and find something you like and let the people that love what they do service the community.

The supervisor was extremely kind and helpful but the worker at the front desk I had to speak to first was very disrespectful. She threatened to close my case because I asked kindly to speak to her supervisor. “She’s not going to say anything different so i don’t know why you want to talk to her, she’s not going to want to talk to you!” She should be fired immediately for her treatment towards people. The supervisor did indeed help me with my issue and if it wasn’t for the rude worker they’d get 5 stars.

Compare to the snap center I’ve been to this one it’s pretty good. Great customer service. Cleaned, and modernized my experience was positive here. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The rep was kind and very considerate to my situation. I wish all the centers reflected this one. Great job guys 🙏🏼

I’ve been trying to call over the last month because I got a letter saying I had expedited benefits. The letter advised to call before making a trip there for no reason but when I call, I’m on hold for 30 mins and then it sounds as if someone is picking up and hanging right back up. This has happened SEVERAL times. If I go up there and find out something they could’ve told me over the phone, we’re all going to have a bad day.

This place gets ur job done and I love how every time i went there it wasn't as bad. i got my medicaid issue and food stamp done and thanks to their scanners i can easily upload documents. But the staff working there are so rude. The way they talk to u makes u more nervous and u feel dumb. Some of their staffs are really helpful though at the 2nd floor medicaid office but its takes long time. Downstairs its hard to ask someone for help, since im from a different race and always feel like im treated totally differently.

Even though this was was clean and had a small amount of ppl, I was told this was my main center for food stamps which it was not it was 2 Gorge av & I was very upset i dint know and wasted travel money when I didn't need to... to get to my conclusion I was looking for the restroom an I wonder to the staff's kitchen & bathroom- no guards - no security 🤔 I was like this is not good at all. 3stars because they need more professionals there.

The workers are very helpful and friendly is you don't know how to do the computer too put things on line they help you you could scan your documents before you leave and that's great because they sent you a letter saying which documents they received from you so nobody could say you didn't give a document and the workers help you use the scanner they teach you is easy not hard to do

Expect to wait hours on this one. They're not many caseworkers in there even though we went during the pandemic. You're not going to find anyone that will help you write off the bat. You have to wait 3 to 4 hours maybe longer to see somebody that's if you have an appointment and if you don't then expect to wait longer. That's if the place honors your reservation for them. If they send out for you to show up they mostly make you wait a long time and then if you come to the desk they tell you oh you have to come back the next day you don't never get to people on time. They make you return many times because they overbook people and. Also they get mad if you say that you're leaving if you go out to the store or anything while waiting you lose your spot and have to wait another four to six hours.

No parking 🤨, service has improved from 20 yrs ago, They now treat individuals as a customers, not a low life looking for handout but one in needed of a helping hand.

Had to go for my brother. The nicest place I've been to for SNAP and the staff really helped me navigate the paperwork. Keep up the good work. AND, the security agents were also very polite and helpful. Very clean facility.

How are you not allowed to bring in your helmet into an establishment?! And even more ridiculous, was told to return to my home to leave it?! Really? Where’s the common sense in that. So my safety in wearing a helmet doesn’t matter? Who’s making up these ludicrous policies? Make it make sense coach!

Contacting this office through the phone is nearly impossible. I have been waiting for over 2 hours and still waiting to speak to a representative. If you are planning on calling, expect an absurdly and ridiculous wait time for mediocre customer service.

Terrible service. They do not answer the phone. It is like someone is picking up and hanging up. Came all the way to the office and was told I had to go downtown...

The process was effective and efficient. Which was completely different from the pre pandemic interactions. Once you enter there’s a kiosk to sign you in. Then you get a number. There are at least 3-4 machines to scan your documents. Once you’re finished, you can leave. Only if you have questions or concerns you can wait for a case worker. Otherwise the money will be on your card by the next day.

One of the worse offices in Brooklyn. No customer service skills and after one lady tried to help me, a disabled veteran, her "supervisor" stopped her because it wasn't my center. But all the mail was being mailed from this office. The ladies on the higher floors of the building just seem to get more rude as you go further into the building.

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. Here's a review that provides feedback without targeting any specific group: "I visited the Food Stamp Center in Coney Island, and unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience. It seemed like there were some issues with the service – long wait times, some staff members appeared disengaged, and it felt like not everyone was fully committed to their tasks. I hope they can improve their services for a more efficient and pleasant experience for all clients."

The supervise practiced the worst act of racism with me because I’m an Arabic and a minority in this country when I ask here for a manager she refuses to answer me or call him.

I was on hold for three hours and they hung up on me several times. They don't provide you with a number to reach a case Manager so you can discuss your case. They just discontinued your benefits and most of the time their info isn't accurate. I feel that they should do better with provide assistance to Seniors citizens or clients especially since they are given away services to the Migrants. At least let us talk to someone so we can gain insight to why the case is closed. They tell you to call casemanager first because they can change it but you can't get thought

I wish I was able to get the women’s name who DIDNT help me, but if you don’t have to go in person to apply please do it online. These employees are so lazy and so rude, not helpful at all. They do not like their jobs and the helping.
