Pretty darn good! Nice place with a pretty good selection of items. Fresh clean ingredients at a decent price. Good selection of house chips. Some Outside seating. Only negative here was a very dirty floor littered with food and napkins and such.

Stopped in today because of a charity event sponsored by Potbelly for the East Peoria Police and officer Klyber. The officer was injured in the line of duty. All sale proceeds today go to the officer and his family. This alone is enough to rate the restaurant highly. Honestly the staff and large crowd of participants is overwhelming loving. Food and pricing is very good. Inside walls are covered with local memorabilia.

It's Friday the 13th at 6pm, all the restaurants in the Levy District had huge lines and waits so we decided to go to Red Robin but it was packed a well so we came over to Potbelly's to eat. Walking in the way to order seems totally backwards and completely not efficient with a lot of confusion for the customer. From the door you go all the way to the opposite wall to start your order then work your way back to the door to pay. Wife and I had the pick 2 option(half a sandwich and soup or salad and a drink). Our daughter had a peanut butter sandwich on white bread with a cookie and a drink. One guy behind the counter had to practical walk and instruct each customer thru the ordering process, while the girl looked completely lost and the kid running the register struggled on everyone's order to ring up. The ordering process is a complete mess and needs a complete overhaul. There was plenty of seating as there was only 4 tables being used(friday night at 6pm). Get sat down with our food, going thru the food my wife's mac and cheese looked terrible so she took it back. The talkative guy said sorry that was our lady one I knew I shouldn't of have it to you, wierd.... so she got a salad which she said was good. My daughter's peanut butter sandwich on white bread was labeled wheat on the bag and it was wheat🙄. My prime rib sandwich was cold and was raw n not pink cooked, RAW! My cheddar broccoli soup wasn't bad but had zero flavor and substance (it was practically all cheese). My daughter's cookie was a little bigger then a half dollar oreo sized, kinda thought it would of been a cookie of size like what they have displayed at the register, nope. To add at the end of the experience, my wife went to the restroom came out and said they are out of toilet paper. As we left my wife just let the girl employee know they we're out of toilet paper. The girl looked at her like she had snakes coming out of her head and didn't reply to my wife or acknowledge her. I always give eateries at least 3 tries everyone has a bad day and can't be judged solely on one episode. Although I personally think there's room for improvement from a managers or district managers level. We will be back some day with hopes of improvements, and I think you should give it a try and conclude your own opinion. Only a friendly suggestion to the managers. Spend some quality time on watching the efficiency of the system and try to polish it. Sit back, watch and read the customers experience, body language and see what can be simplified and improved for the customer and the employee.

Quick service, good sandwich. For the price you pay, seems like there should be more meat and cheese.

I spent a lot of money ordering what was supposed to be two sandwiches, chips, and a drink. The drink and chips never came. I called 60 seconds after my order was placed through UberEATS to add toppings, that the app didn't give me the option of adding for some reason (malfunction). I specifically spoke to the manager-on-duty (definitely only the supervisor, there's no way she could manage an entire store with her attitude) to add toppings. She took down on pen and paper, all of the 5 toppings, to my knowledge. 20 minutes later, two plain sandwiches arrive without chips or drink. Not the driver's fault. I, on the other hand, call to ask the issue, and am met with the same female supervisor's unprofessional attitude. She told me that they "probably sent it out early" (aren't you in charge of the completion of orders?), which is why the rest of the order was missing. She had zero accountability. She won't be manager for long, if that keeps up. Anyway, I ended up refunding and going to an entirely different sandwich chain for toppings and sides, because "there was no way to give me my toppings on the side and they didn't have containers to put them into". If you have a chip on your shoulder, get rid of it before dealing with customers. Clean up your attitude.

Don’t know exactly what I paid for. Our sandwiches barely had any chicken on them at all, not enough for even a couple nuggets. Total waste of time and money. $7 for a piece of bread and some vegetables.

I'm a Google local guide and I take my reviews very seriously and I'm very sorry to have to write this review. I love the food here. I've recently become very fond of it. the staff is always nice and helpful. The place is always clean but I had a free sandwich that I had earned with points and it expired but I didn't know it had an expiration date. so when I contacted the customer service of potbelly (not the East Peoria location, just the regular customer service) they told me they could see my free sandwich and then it expired literally the day before I went to use it and they didn't care. so if they want to treat me like garbage, I'm happy to return the favor with this review.

It seems expensive, for 2 people to eat sandwiches and chips for $31. But I guess that's life with the democrats.

My new favorite sandwich place! Everyone is always so nice and friendly, the app is very user-friendly and always has promos to help rack up points to a free sub faster. Great quality food and staff!

I met a friend for lunch and ordered the pick two. I had a wreck for my sandwich. I would suggest getting double meat. I didn’t know this at the time, but I was definitely chinced in the protein department. I then had their apple walnut salad which was delectable. The free water cup they give you was big enough for one swig and that only. Potbelly as a whole does unfortunately discriminate against those who do not purchase a drink. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My pick two was over $12. Fair to say it was a tad pricey with the portions you get. Overall, a 4.6 out of 5 stars from the Nolanator. The miniature water cup was always destined to be their demise. Best regards.

First time eating there. It was alright but sandwich condiment choices are pretty slim pickings. They need to add more options on sandwiches.

The food was good, just too much mayo on my sandwich, but other than that the Sandra's good. The one who made our sandwich was not friendly at all.

Potbelly has a variety of sandwiches to choose from. I appreciate that they run them through a toaster, and you can choose exactly what you want on it. It never takes too long to get your food, and they do have chips, cookies, shakes, to add with your sandwich. The East Peoria location is nice. It's located in the river district, and it's a great place to stop and take a break.

I placed an order for pickup scheduled nearly 40 minutes in advance and when I arrived to pick up my order, there was not a single soul in the restaurant. I waited a minute or 2 before someone emerged from the office and it appeared they were just then seeing my order ticket. It’s not that I had a terrible, ruin-your-day experience but it’s just disappointing that I placed my order over 30 minutes in advance and still had to wait for them to make my sandwiches. Not what I would expect for the price, especially when the place is completely dead

Had the Avo Turkey and Hero sandwich on flatbread. Both good but you get a lot more with the Avo.

Food okay, service no so great. Girl sweeping floor holding broom and dust pan...stops and gets my soup and doesn't wash hands before doing so. Doesn't use label but another paper soup bowl with her dirty hand into the soup to dish it out.
