I
recently
stayed
at
the
Hampton
Inn
in
East
Peoria
and
had
a
mixed
experience
overall.
While
the
hotel
had
some
positives,
there
were
also
significant
negatives
that
affected
my
stay.
Starting
with
the
positives,
the
location
of
the
hotel
was
great.
It
provided
easy
access
to
a
variety
of
restaurants
and
shopping
areas,
which
was
convenient
during
my
visit.
Additionally,
the
ample
parking
availability
was
a
welcome
feature.
The
breakfast
offered
at
the
hotel
was
also
enjoyable.
It
provided
a
good
selection
of
options
and
helped
start
the
day
off
on
a
positive
note.
Unfortunately,
there
was
a
significant
issue
with
the
cleanliness
of
the
room.
I
discovered
bed
bugs
during
the
night
and
promptly
informed
the
front
desk
in
the
morning.
They
promptly
changed
my
room,
which
was
appreciated.
However,
finding
bed
bugs
in
a
hotel,
especially
one
belonging
to
the
Hilton
chain,
was
unexpected
and
quite
disappointing.
Furthermore,
the
lack
of
follow-up
or
consolation
from
the
hotel
staff
regarding
the
bed
bug
incident
indicated
poor
customer
service.
A
situation
like
this
should
have
been
handled
with
more
care
and
concern
for
the
guest's
experience.
While
I
understand
that
my
booking
was
last-minute
due
to
limited
availability
in
East
Peoria
that
week,
I
expected
a
higher
level
of
quality
and
service
from
a
Hilton-affiliated
property.
Considering
the
negative
experience
and
the
lack
of
satisfactory
response,
I
am
hesitant
to
give
Hampton
Inn
East
Peoria
another
chance
in
the
future.
