Booked 1 triple sharing and 1 twin sharing room at Quality Ambassador Hotel. Great stay. Hotel was clean and spacious. Breakfast was same thru out the stay but there is a variety. Staff were all very friendly. Thanks to Steve especially as he recommended some eateries and nearby malls to shop. Location has few 24hrs mart to shop and a park to stroll. Worth the stay and recommended.

Bed was very comfy but that is pretty much all i can say i liked about this place. The smell of staleness when you walk in is overwhelming and my room had massive stains in the carpet, mould in the shower and the exhaust fans were filthy. The walls are terribly thin... you could hear everything from the room next to you. Breakfast you have to walk across the main road to another hotel to eat. Do not recommend

Dissatisfied, 4 start hotelā€¦? Basic Room - PQB 3x nights around $650 which required a $250 bond (announced last min.) before checking in, and. Hot šŸ”„ tip - only debit card - no cash accepted. Repayment takes between 7-12x days (might need to factor that into your travel šŸ§³ plans). Donā€™t ask me about the overpriced šŸ“ˆand dated candy bars and condiments for sale in the lobby next to the communal microwave and laundry facilities (Iā€™m not kidding). However, I got the TV and mini fridge working, and adjusted to the constant humming of the central heating system. I have to admit, the bed was clean, crisp ā€˜nā€™ comfy. The staff I encountered were, pleasant, and approachable. Grate location, substandard building and facilities, open car park, parks, transport, etc. but donā€™t rush

This is a very old hotel that needs work. Check in area needs a good clean and some paint. My room was bad. Drink spills on walls not wiped down, dirty stained curtains which was disgusting. Old orange decor. Donā€™t be fooled by the pictures as the rooms look nothing like it. For breakfast you must go over to comfort in. This was just slop. Dirty tables, no one serving and every person for themselves. No Covid protocols at all. Your cutlery in a basket where everyone is touching them. I didnā€™t feel safe for some reason and I placed a chair in front of door. This venue needs a bloody good clean. I will never stay ever again. Of all the time I have stayed in Quality Innā€™s this is the worst one. Save your money and spend on another hotel. Donā€™t do Comfort Inn over the road as they are owned by the same group and it looked just as bad.

Receptionist working at midnight 13th March was extremely rude. Raising voice at me to take foot off lounge when it wasnā€™t on the lounge. Then going on to yell as if I was a child saying to ā€œsit upā€ and ā€œyou wouldnā€™t do this to your own lounge at home so donā€™t do it hereā€. Again, my foot/shoe wasnā€™t on the lounge. No apology when realised he was wrong just quiet.

Being a 3star hotel it was expected that facilities would be reduced. Location is ok coz easy access to some restaurants and bars. Also very close to the waterfront. Services are good and staff are friendly. Room wise clean and facing the main road.

Just don't stay here. From my first arrival I knew it was a mistake and decided not always good to try to save a few dollars. Service was terrible and lazy. The entrance to the lifts like a one star back Packers. The corridors filthy and there was rubbish and dust dirt everywhere. My room was like a prison no air and no way to adjust air conditioning. Dirty, broken, discovered a filthy doona hidden by a sheet. Not to mention being abused at midnight by a lovely guest who was screaming in the corridor outside my room. I've cancelled another booking I had and definitely would not recommend. You are better in a backpackers. Disappointed for the start of my holiday.

Stayed for father's day weekend. Older style hotel. Rooms could do with a make over, some walls have stains , paint coming of.shower and bath in bathroom. Very comfy bed. Otherwise, great location, cafes restaurants close by and bell tower, Elizabeth quays a nice walk close by. Friendly helpful staff at check in and check out. Paid parking onsite.

Staff very unfriendly. First impression when you walk in at front desk to check in, rude behaviour and very unwelcoming. You can't ask any questions. Just follow their orders. They do not clean your room, do not replenish coffee and tea, nor do they replenish body wash. Think carefully before staying in this hotel. Very disappointed with overall stay, specially with the front desk staff. But, Ali, Steve and Sayuri were very polite. But the Asian ladies who checked is in have zero customer service skills. Not fit to be at front desk.

I stayed there the 19 th of November the room look's nothing like what's on the Web pages very disappointed. The air-conditioning dose not work properly and only goes to number 3 light globes we're not changed so couldn't use some of them bathroom the fan is not working. The kitchen staff is around food with no hair nets or hats and the breakfast states that it's 20 dollars in the book and when paying its 25. The couch in the room was broken and wasn't nice to sit on the bed was so uncomfortable and felt every spring in the mattress. Will not be staying again really wasn't worth 250 for just one night

Very noisy room/environment, rooms are not insulated at all and having a bad neighbour is a nightmare for all the stay! And staff canā€™t help with that, unfortunately! Room are not worth the price you pay only for that reason! No aircon controller, need to stick with either on or off! Thatā€™s ridiculous isnā€™t it? At the moment of the far advanced booking nobody mentioned the car park was to be paid on top of the room only at the end of the stay. Thatā€™s very sneaky and unfair since itā€™s not mentioned anywhere on their website that car park had to be paid separately on top. Folks, genuinely, you can pay the same fare for a much better hotel stay. Honest and sincere advice. Good luck

Rooms are acceptable, but have thin walls so if there is any noise you hear everything. The clock in my room made a loud buzzing sound when plugged in so couldn't be used. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. However, weirdly the guy on in the evening was wearing a blazer with nothing under it. The location is convenient to downtown, but it isn't the nicest area.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. I had a worst experience ever in this place. Bad customer service from reception staff. He was unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. He did not handle issues professionally. The room needs an immediate upgrade- It's dated with a poor lighting , leaking shower, and a broken door lock. It supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but somehow it has a strong cigarette smells once you enter the room. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE.

Needs updating. Sheets torn, toilet needs replacement. Walls need cleaning. Noisy kids running around while trying to sleep. Location excellent tho. Shame about the rest.

Dust on tables. Hair in the bathtub so I didn't used it. Free coffee sachet looks cheap. I paid 150aud for a double room, for this price I expected better service. The vibe feels like a better motel room. Like all other reviews, aircon is noisy. Also you can hear everything if someones on phone call or everytime when people closed their door. Very average stay but receptionist were lovely.

Definitely not terrible. We paid about $120/night and to be fair itā€™s probably worth about that. I get the impression itā€™s owned by some people that donā€™t care too much about making it better or spending money. But the room is reasonably comfortable and clean enough. Could it benefit from a deep clean - yes. Could it do with the lobby being refurbished - yes. House keeping hit and miss. Laundry coin operated available for use.

I had the worst room ever. Room 803. Right behind the lifts and heard the motors going all hours of the day and night. Why they ever use this room is beyond me. It should be a last resort or a cheaper room. The next room I had was better but both rooms very stuffy. No windows to open and basic air conditioning that you could not control. Otherwise right near local buses and rooms a good size with comfortable beds.

The hotel is run down and not modern as advertised. The room had hand prints over the walls. The bed had a 1cm lip wear it joined in the middle. The bath was rusty and the aircon doesnā€™t cool the room. Mugs that I used were not replaced with clean ones when my room was serviced. I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately had one of the worst experience ever. Very surprised with hotel receptionist attitude and not having any compassion whatsoever to hear out. Hotel failed to get the local number, they failed to have a courtesy to call and inform and eventually having to pay additional charges, even though it is part their ownership to check.

Great value for the money. Close enough to town, and on the bus route to the airport. Car rental nearby. I'd return.

Basic room but great location. Waking distance to everything and bus out the front. Walking distance to beach.

I believe in value for money; have stayed in cheap and expensive hotels. This hotel is over-priced for the value it provides. Service was ok, room was clean, bed comfortable and shower was warm. But it all looked dated and worn. One of the chairs in the cavernous room creacked and the other was damaged. Gym was a joke, just three equipments, one broken, one missing implements, third unadjusteable. No control over the AC, which was centralised but still very noisy; I was cold the first night, too warm on the second. The small TV several meters away on the other side of the room malfunctioned. Not a pleasant stay.

Very outdated, air-conditioning has one option which is fan speed. No heating seems to be available. Our king size bed was two different single beds pushed together, if you want to sleep close to your partner someone has to be on a very uncomfortable join.

Apart from being affordable, quality hotel has none other then the best customer service , I've experienced during my travels. Genuine, friendly and helpful to say the least about the receptionist dane. Highly reccomend and will come back because of the hospitality. Give Dane a raise šŸ˜

Pros 1. The hotel is conveniently located in a central point of Perth, its easy to get to north and south Perth from this location 2. The staff were friendly and a 24 hour service desk is beneficial 3. The queen bed was comfortable and the room amenities minus the air conditioning all worked fine Cons 1. The shower smelt mouldy and the soap holder was dirty 2. The air conditioning doesn't work properly and isn't user friendly at all 3. Getting in and out of the parking area was simple enough but you need to speak to reception everytime you want to leave which subsequently felt like I was asking for permission 4. Paper thin walls, but fortunately my neighbours were all quiet in the evening/over night so no sleep disruption 5. My main concerns was that there is a genuine security risk i noticed. There is a blind spot between reception, the hotel entrance and the hotel elevator to guest rooms. Someone confident enough could walk off the street unnoticed, get into the elevator and go up to the hotel rooms. Further, the hotel uses a physical key system meaning the only security between you and the outside world is theoretically your hotel room door.
