The only reason why I'm giving it one star is because the customer service is great. The staff was really nice and they also dropped me off at my interview a few blocks away so I didn't have to order an Uber. For this hotel to beat 3.5 star is a complete joke! The first room I was in had straight and curly hair in the bathroom so I asked to switch rooms. The second room still random hairs around the toilet, bath tub and the bathroom sink. Both rooms was filled with mold and they were not very clean. The rating of the hotel should go to a 2.5 but it's definitely not a 3.5 start hotel!

I'm spending the night here because Delta Airlines placed me here after a delayed flight/missed flight. 1. Free shuttle took forever to arrive at the airport. They're really small and get full fast. Waiting time was 45 minutes or more. 2. There's no microwave in the room (220) 3. Towels are stained. Bring your own 4. One of the front desk gals is very rude. 5. Hairs on the comforters and Dusty pillowcases. Made me sneeze all night. 6. Phone doesn't work to call the front desk or anywhere really. 7. Shampoo and body wash feel more like cheap hand soap, and the conditioner is more like watered down lotion. 8. Lights don't dim Better than sleeping at the airport but I feel delta could have done better partnering with a better hotel.

The conference rooms are nice. The staff are all 5 stars. Everyone I dealt with helped me out and made things easier for my travel. Thank you to them!! My room was okay but because of the staff I would absolutely visit again.

Walking in, the hotel was humid and warm. The area seems congested. The floor had spots on it, the bed had crumbs and spots on the sheets. The housekeeping lady was very sweet and helpful when it came to changing the sheets and spraying disinfectant spray. The AC unit was dirty & dusty. The AC unit also didn’t work. The bathroom floors and the tub were nasty. There are spots on the wall. Not to mention, the worst part being that the shower and the tub run at the same time and the tub drain doesn’t even work. So imagine standing in bath water while taking a shower. The phone does not connect, so I could not call the front desk or housekeeping.

I have stayed a total of 7 nights and have been impressed more each day. The staff are accommodating, helpful, and plentiful! Obviously, there are times when things can get a little crazy. I waited 1/2 an hour for the shuttle, but it was a beautiful day, and I met some great people while I waited. I was here for a conference, and there was at least one other large group here at the same time - so check in, and reaching the desk during peak hours, was a little longer than I would have liked. But, when I did check in, and the room I requested wasn't available (king bed), the front desk attendant put me on the top floor in a room with two doubles, in a room that was very clean and comfortable. I was on my own, so a king wasn't necessary. The food served at lunch was great, and abundant. Dining staff were exceptionally friendly, and service was great. My only complaint - and this is nitpicking - is that in a couple of the conference rooms I was able to smell the exhaust from outside. This hotel sits adjacent to the highway, and I have a very sensitive nose - but I survived. The air conditioner in the room worked great, and so did the heat. The pool looked clean; it was just too cold outside to swim. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will consider this my "go to hotel adjacent the Atlanta airport" in the future.

I only used their parking lot for 4 nights and it was a great experience. Check-in and check-out was super fast and efficient. Shuttle was on time not prior to departure and arrival. Front desk ladies and the shuttle drivers were very friendly and you can’t the beat the price for the location.

Check in was HORRIBLE!!! I arrived 5 minutes before check in time and was told I had to wait because the room wasn't ready? FIVE MINUTES? Then when I come back after those 5 minutes, there's 7 people in front of me and out of the three hotel staff at the counter, only one is checking people in AND one of them was the manager 😳😳What were the other two employees doing?! Your guess is as good as mine! 😜 The pool was super small for a hotel that size. It looked like a residential pool more than a hotel pool!! The rooms were nice, that's it!

We stayed 1 night in this hotel before picking up our hire car the next morning. It is only a short taxi ride from the airport. All the staff were so lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. They were all very welcoming. We had a delicious evening meal when we arrived and a lovely breakfast the next morning before checking out. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We had our two grandsons with us, one aged 2 and the other 4 months. They were especially good with young children.

If you like the smell of mold stay here. It has a bad, damp smell, and a lot of the rooms. I stayed in room 702 at first I got switched to 813. It also smell like mold fungus in the bathroom.. the refrigerator still had, water, bottle and food in it. The pool was not working. It was filled with a fungus. The washing machine broke we could not get clean washcloths and towels.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. My room had black mold in the shower. My carpet was filthy. There were cobwebs everywhere with spiders and their babies. The phone in my room did not work and had to be replaced. The ice machine on the floor was broken. There was no microwave on the floor and the soda machine was unplugged. The front desk was not helpful at all and I stood at the elevator for 10 minutes and no one told me I needed my key to operate the elevator. I will never stay at this hotel again unless it drastically changes. I emailed the manager my complaints.

Place is very mediocre at best. The hotel major renovations. Our room was clean for the most part, cleaning lady forgot to wipe the sink. Towel rack, shower Curtains, and mirror were all barely hanging on wall. Place just looks and smells run down. Desk ladies could’ve been in a better mood, it was like I was bothering them. Nothing is complimentary; not coffee, breakfast, EVEN PARKING. $14 a day and they disguise it in your bill. Will not be staying at another Sonesta.

My daughter was moving to Japan and I picked this hotel to stay at for a few days so she could make her orientation beforehand. I’m here to tell you right now that the people working here were wonderful! They were friendly and always willing to help with any request. Yes, the rooms do need an update but I will take the friendly atmosphere, the valet helping my disabled husband into the truck every time we had to drive somewhere, and taking the time to comfort, encourage and offer their prayers for our daughter and us parents over a brand new room anytime.

Rooms not dirty but need updating. Just feels dingy. Great water pressure in shower. The room does have a hair dryer. Parker and Yvonne at the front desk were both really nice and helpful. There was a paper in the room stating housekeeping could be requested on the third day but would only be performed if requested. We did not request housekeeping but a worker came into our room while we were still in bed. I couldn’t get up fast enough to get to the door to tell them we were still here. I could not connect to internet with the provided code. Our door access key stopped working on the second day of our three day stay and we couldn’t access the parking lot or our room. We only had two bath towels. No face or hand towels, just one bath towel per person. Self parking is $22 a day.

My spouse n I stayed here prior to flying out for a week vacation. We were able to arrive, park our vehicle in the secured parking area, and enjoy the hotel and all its amenities. We were able to get quality sleep, enjoy morning coffee, and was shuttled to the airport shortly after arriving downstairs. (You will be shuttled to the domestic side, so if u have an international flight, u will have to take ground transportation to that terminal to and from! Leave yourself a fair amount of time if this applies to u.) Once back at arrivals on the domestic side we were able to jump on the hotel shuttle and back to our car just how we left it! Great experience for us.

The parking is EXPENSIVE!! It’s $22 we booked with the park and fly which was $10 because we were only staying one night for an early flight it’s on hotel grounds just farther away and the hotel wouldn’t honor it. No where in their policy does it say we can’t do that. But for $22 parking I expected a WAY better room!!! We had moldy walls and the drop tiles were cracking and falling apart. The carpet was so stained and sticky in some places I wouldn’t walk without shoes on. It also smelled moldy. The bathroom was dirty looking and the shower was so dated. I wouldn’t stay here again. However the front desk employees were super nice! The staff minus a couple was the shining spot for this hotel!

Good location. Room was clean and service is good. The most important piece of furniture in a hotel room is the bed. Unfortunately the mattress was very old. Springs were painful through out the night. I reported it to the receptionist in the morning, she she said carelessly they have no extra mattress so I had to go through the bad experience for a second night. Just in case, avoid room 204 unless they replace the old mattress.

Once a grand hotel. The rooms are old and need updating, carpet was stained and a/c noisy in my room. Breakfast was delicious with extra creamy grits, bacon, eggs and more. Staff was extra friendly and helpful making it a pleasure.

Great hotel for every individual or family. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The beds are clean and comfortable. What I liked about the shower is it comes with its own body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The room is very comfortable. The outside atmosphere is live, and you can enjoy the comforts of the patio or the pool. The food is "DELICIOUS" and restaurant quality. My husband purchased the cheeseburger from the hotel restaurant, which was the "Best" cheeseburger we have ever had. It is an excellent place for families to stay when having family reunions. Another good thing about this hotel is its location to convenient places. There are two gas stations next door; the airport is down the street, and Waffle House and a couple more eateries are within walking distance of the hotel. The only disadvantage of this hotel is the coffee supplied in your room. It's a Keurig, and the coffee tastes like hot water, and there's no complimentary breakfast bar. The breakfast bar is $13. Those are the only disadvantages. My family and I loved the hotel so much that we plan to go again to stay there. But we'll bring our own coffee next time or walk next door to the store. 😜

We felt very safe with the extra measures taken for security. The staff is kind. The room we stayed in is in need of updates. It was very clean.. however, I have stayed in hotels much cheaper that were updated. The lobby is very pretty and the atmosphere was nice. It would be nice to see that same attention in the rooms as well.

We attend a convention at this hotel every other year. The convention is always great. The hotel recently changed ownership and its name. It's an old building very convenient to the Atlanta Airport and mostly is used by travelers flying through Atlanta. The building is comfortable but the atmosphere is old and tired. I will say that the Sealy Posturepedic beds are very comfortable. Yes, I looked at the brand name on the mattress. The water in the bathtub ran constantly, as hard as we tried to turn it off. The bathroom floor grout was dirty and the baseboards were dingy. There was smeared paint on the mirror, a shelf and the wall. The bathroom was very small. The restaurant in the lobby has changed ownership as well. New management is not American. The first thing I noticed was the dirty floor where the breakfast buffet was set up. Looked like someone had walked through wet grey paint and tracked it all over. The breakfast buffet was $18 per person. The scrambled eggs were hard and dry. The bacon was greasy and undercooked. The 1st morning I was asked if I wasn't happy with my food since I ate little of it. I was honest, since she asked me. She was disappointed and asked if she cd get me anything else. I asked if they had oatmeal and she went to check in the kitchen. That was good and she brought me a bowl. The next day I asked if I cd order from a menu and was told they only did the buffet on weekends when they were busier. I left and did not go back on any other morning. Never ate dinner there. Prices were too high for the quality of the food.

First off the service was great. Both The receptionist (at check in and check out) were very professional. However the room was terrible. The bed was so high I could barely get on it. I am five foot four and if I’d known the bed was so high up I would have never booked a room here. The water pressure was low and there was no hot water at all. My husband and I had cold showers this morning. The cable didn’t work so we ended up using our phones to watch Netflix. We didn’t drink the coffee in the room because the way we figured you’d nickel and dime us we thought maybe we’d be charged an arm and a leg for that. Other hotels also have a complimentary or free breakfast. Just a basic breakfast. This hotel is somewhere I never want to stay again. It was however convenient to the airport as there was a shuttle to get there. I will give it two stars for that reason but no more than that. Oh and might I add they charge for parking. $22 a day and if you get valet parking $26 a day. I also had a very hard time getting comfy on the bed. I won’t stay here again. If someone ask me where to stay near an airport in Atlanta I won’t be recommending this place. Also 2 stars because it was actually quiet here so that was nice.

Please DO NOT stay here!!!! Read carefully. We stayed at this property to catch an early flight. We checked in at 10pm. We parked in lot B. We came to our car at 130am and someone broke into our car. This establishment had absolutely no concern with the incident. We were told it's our responsibility for any incidents. This seems like it's a regular occurrence at this property. Be aware people. They Absolutely will not help you.

Mixed bag here. Super close to the airport... which helped ease the 50-people-on-a-20-person-shuttle problem. The entry and exits to the hotel are a maze. Very confusing. High security fencing is welcomed, but it makes entry difficult. Rooms were decent and clean, if in need of new carpets and a bit of paint. Lobby area was gorgeous, and the staff was way above par!

My visit was ok. However , I did have to deal with a young lady (whom stated she was a manager) being rude about a simple situation that needed to be rectified. She stated that the next time I wanted a perfect room , I should choose the other location because it's a different clientele. The funny part she was the only one acting out of pocket in the whole facility. Horrible customer service . I tried reaching out to her manager with no response. Seems this property can care less about their customers. Nice room though.

This is an amazing facility. The first thing to point out is how clean everything is. You can't even begin to get comfortable in a dirty hotel. The staff is very warm and helpful. An amazing location so near the airport. I was part of a large group and they were very accommodating for our requests. The Breakfast they serve is quite delicious as well. I can't wait to return next November.

  • 3/5 Miguel M. 5 months ago on Google
The room was comfortable and had a pod coffee machine this is a plus. But in addition to the room you had to pay for parking, so extra $22. The room has a nice desk so you can get your work done. So if you don't need to have a car, and need a comfortable place to work and rest near the airport Thai is a good place.

Pros = friendly staff and location is great since its close to the airport. Cons = the room could use some fixing. The faucet in the shower needs to be replaced and look at the photos i took in the nlbathroom !!! The entire 4th floor hallway smelled like mildew and the carpet by the elevator was soaking wet. Food are overly priced and werent even that good.

I arrived a bit early before the 4pm check-in, and was told I was way to early and had to wait until 4 p.m. I was okay with that! I read a book and stayed in the lobby. However, after checking out the following day, I saw a white lady who arrived at 11 a.m. and was given a courtesy check-in. My issue is with the inequitable practice. We have to do better to make everyone feel comfortable, no matter their race, economic background, gender, etc. I truly felt so undermined.

The phones in rooms didn't work, could not call front desk or housekeeping. Had to call hotel via cellphone. Some staff was very helpful and others not so much. The rates were pretty low but you get what you pay for

Hotel recently was purchased by a new owner and overall service was good and beds were comfortable. Rooms could use a little updating. BONUS that I wasn't aware of before arriving is they have a TESLA/electric vehicle charger at the hotel! I think it's free to charge, as it didn't show up in my Tesla app, but it's a slow 240V outlet, but I was the only one using it anyway!

Room was great. Airport transfer when we arrived non existence called no answer airport security tried still no answer. Was supposed to be Black Mercedes van. Took taxi while waiting at hotel while waiting a white van showed up Driver was person checking people in. Was not very friendly told us we never called. She argued with my wife very unprofessional.

Seems like a nice hotel. The lobby area is welcoming. The room I stayed in was comfortable and not cramped. This had a queen bed and usual amenities. The parking is hella expensive. There are places to eat around it so you can walk to food. The parking is crazy because they run out of spaces depending on the occupancy. Not bad if you need to stay close to the airport.

Great faculty, the staff is impeccable and hard to beat. Extremely courteous and accommodating. I didn’t have a refrigerator in my room, (I didn’t call down to the front desk to address this. If I did, I’m sure it would’ve been addressed) Conveniently located one exit away from the Airport. Close proximity to great food.

Eye was invited to an important meeting. Unfortunately the person didn't realize that you had to pay to park. So eye had to find a place around the building hoping not to get towed. 😢. Unfortunately the company represented didn't cover the parking...😢🤔.

Bad hotel. Mediocre hospitality. The bathroom body wash was empty and not refilled on request. Could not provide an extra condiment packet for coffee. Phones did not work as the keys meant nothing. Had to only press zero for everything. There was no follow-up on requests. The bar/restaurant person did not even give me the correct receipt.

Oh my! Given a voucher from the airline because of flight issues. This hotel is not one I would have intentionally booked. The room is tattered and worn the bathroom walls are disgustingly stained. It was very late, the good thing is the sheets were clean and we only had to stay there for four hours.

  • 4/5 Harold h. 1 year ago on Google
The price was great and the staff was great and the hotel was clean, but the parking was horrible. My wife and I rode the whole parking lot and it's pretty big and could not find a spot to park. We had to park in a non parking spot along the curbside with other people. I saw 2 cars with busted out windows and that did not make me feel comfortable with the parking situation. The man at the front desk told us that the hotel next door was having a convention and that they were parking over here. What!!! ???

  • 4/5 Phillip C. 10 months ago on Google
I was here due to a cancellation of flights and it was closest to the airport covered by the airline hotel voucher. So were the other 100 cancelled flight passengers! Once I was able to check in the room is clean and well put together. Only downside worth commenting was the shower tub needed a little maintenance on the drain, but fully functional. Perfect place to put your head in a pinch.

I would like to FIRST commend the Front Desk staff that worked 2/4/23 between 2 and 4 pm. Very friendly and I would like to especially thank the lady that assisted me with my reservation. I’d booked using a 3rd party and an error in the dates I was staying occurred and within minutes, she resolved it. I believe her name was Sheila. It really helped me big time. The hotel itself is nice and my room was spacious and clean with a good view. The lobby was spacious and my friends and I were able to enjoy ourselves. The Sunday morning desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly as well.

Great staff! We ended up stranded in Atlanta with hundreds of other people after a bad day for flights, and stayed here. The front desk was so welcoming when we came in with shuttles full of people at midnight, checked us in quickly, and handed us menus for late night food places that delivered and took food vouchers. The security guard was so helpful and nice to us, helping us get to our room quickly and making sure we knew the shuttle schedule to get back to the airport in the morning. I wish I was better with names to give the lady at the desk and the security guard a shout out here

I'm currently at the Atlanta airport. Delta airline vouchers since its midnight and no more flights to my final destination today. I shared all of this with her. Confirmed I was currently standing in the airport and she even got a call from another passages she had mentioned. Booked a reservation with the lady on their main phone number that was very nice and I thought I got lucky by actually finding a place with availability. Gave my credit card to hold the room and the reservation was for tommorow on my email confirmation. What am I going to with that? Called back they had no idea. Gave me number to front desk. No answer. Awesome! Thanks!!

Remember to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. The best thing about the room was the water pressure. It was generally a clean property. While booking came through a service and what appeared to be a discount rate. They failed to mention the daily parking fees of $22. The front desk staff was dispassionate at best. When told about their parking fees the young man told me it was on him. When unable to leave the next morning and inquired the front desk staff about access is when I found out about the $22 fees. As I was having a conversation, a rude woman came out of nowhere to tell me what I heard the night before. She was not there! This property is a great reason not to stay at a pet friendly hotel. At first I thought it was bedbugs, only after not seeing the telltale signs, I realized that I was wrong. It was fleas. During my 4 night stay I got eaten alive. I separated my luggage and clothes after reaching home. The room was dated and need maintenance badly. The bathroom was dated. There were signs of some work. Done badly. If this is and example of a resort hotel they are really missing the mark. I regret not booking a my hotel across the parking lot at the Hilton. To add insult to injury, there was one microwave per floor, right next to the ice machine. They didn’t clean it regularly.

We stayed here when our flight was canceled. This is a 12 story large hotel. Service was friendly and efficient. The parking area is gated and monitored, but costs $22 day even for customers. The room was older but clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was fine. Surprisingly quiet since it's so close to the airport. AC did not work well. Great location. Not top notch but we would return.

Do NOT trust the pictures of the rooms on the website! I paid extra for an Executive level king size suite(website said it slept 3 people). It was myself, my 26 year old son, and my 13 year old son. The pictures showed a nice, spacious room that had a separate sitting area with chair, plenty of room to walk around the bed. REALITY>> TINY room! Maybe 2 feet between the end of the bed and the tv stand/desk. Maybe two feet between the side of the bed and window. Right at a foot between the other side of the bed and the wall. No sitting area, no extra chair, no extra room. I went downstairs to the front desk, because I thought that there had to have been a mistake made. The two gentlemen at the front desk assured me that there was no mistake, that I was in the room pictured. I then asked them where the extra sitting area was with the extra chair. *CRICKETS!* I then asked home how they could justify saying that the room slept up to 3 people. His reply was “Because there is a king size bed”. He then offered to discount the room to $99 because I was so upset.
