This restaurant is a no for me. Our server was amazing but everything else was a fail. The food was mediocre at best. The drinks were modified and we didn't find out until after we already ordered. The restaurant is huge but is in great need of update and repair, it had an stale attic/ basement smell that made it uncomfortable to even enjoy your food and drink. We were warned as we parked that cars are broken into often so there are two men standing outside to make sure no one breaks into your vehicle. We also tipped the men outside. The overall experience was uncomfortable. I definitely won't return.

Amazing Food here! This my first stop in Atlanta and I was shocked by the taste here. Definitely delicious and recommend everyone tried the gator bites. Fair price and great taste!

Wait staff was amazing, very friendly and pointed you towards the extremely tasty dinner items. I had the Angus Strip Steak and my husband had the jambalaya. We both thought they were extremely delicious. Then we saved room for the scrumptious red velvet cheesecake. It’s huge, so you might want to share! We did!

I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped. We heard such good things about it. The customer service was decent, but the food was not very good. I had the catfish poboy and the best part of the meal was the side of potatoes. The catfish tasted very peculiar. My friend who had the catfish by itself agreed that there was something off about it. Her gumbo was also watery. I will say their dessert menu is amazing. Definitely try their cheesecakes. The restaurant was a bit underwhelming as well and had a bit of a stench. Note that Malone’s has the same ownership and I think I like that location better.

Best thing was the Red Velvet Crème Cheese cake.I would say the Oysters needed the sauce to taste good but tasty. Fries and shrimp average to me. I would go back and try something else we had gumbo with brown sauce. I would not suggest this if you have had traditional southern Gumbo!

Is there a perfect dining experience? Probably not. But my lunch at Louisiana Bistreaux in East Point, Atlanta, GA was about as close as it gets. My waiter, Kevin, demonstrated a terrific mix of attentiveness and space. Couldn't have been taken care of any better. And then, the food. Fried green tomatoes were sliced perfectly, not too thick that they over power the breading and not too thin that they are floppy. Cooked perfectly, hot all the way through, but still solid. The breading was flaky and flavorful, but not over seasoned. Some of the best I've ever had. The shrimp, sausage, and grits was very good as well. It's hard to compare that dish to others because it varies from chef to chef. It might have been a bit soupy for my taste, but that didn't take away from the well seasoned and well prepared dish. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and each component of the dish blended well. Good atmosphere, great staff, great food. Great experience.

Service was fantastic, food was fabulous. Kevin our server was great. Recommended the best food for our first visit in Atlanta. Had to have the oysters and gator bites. Both were out of this world. Surf and turf was full of flavor and a great choice. Also added gumbo and red beans and rice. Great place all around

Well worth the visit, the food portions are pretty large. I had the charbroiled oysters topped with lobster on top. You have to get it. I also had the Red Louisianne, the fish is friend so the sauce on top can soak in. The drink is a Caribbean Moonshine.

Our friends had a 5 hour layover in Atlanta. This was their first time visiting Atlanta. We decided to bring them here. It was our first time eating here, fingers crossed. When I say…everything was excellent. The food, drinks, (very strong) the service, the parking, the atmosphere. Highly recommend

This was a great place for dinner. Food was excellent in taste. I had appetizer of Cajun popcorn. I ordered a jumbo Shrimp dish with corn and rice accompaniment. Very nice perfectly cooked shrimp with great seasonings. The corn was good but rice needed more taste. Ordered a Hurricane drink, that was just so so non inspired. What I did not appreciate was appetizer show up two minutes before main course. Drink showed up by third server and my original waitress followed up after I had eaten half my dinner. I wanted some hot sauce for the rice but never received. My water glass was refilled after I had finished.

First time here, after stuck in Atlanta overnight. Food did not disappoint. Bartender was the best, bourbon chocolate cheesecake was amazing and Dang the portions were huge. Gumbo was good! Fried gators and creole mustard was the best I’ve ever had.

Couldn't even try to enjoy our date night because the place stinks so bad through whole place. Smells like they mopped floors with old dirty water. Place smells plain sour. Service great as well as my steak. Huge portions that we ended getting to go cause we couldn't take it anymore. Three course meal with drinks $150

What a pleasant surprise. Or maybe not. Why would I be surprised that the food was so delicious? A lot of times place sound good, but underperform. I have to say Louisiana Bistro exceeded all expectations. Very nice place when you walk in. Very clean and professional. Employees have a nice Southern temperament. I had the jambalaya. It was almost perfect. Large portion, perfectly seasoned ,perfectly cooked rice, very nice meat to rice ratio. Only thing I would have wanted was a green onion garnish. My friend had grilled shrimp with dirty rice and corn. Delicious! Very Satisfied. The owner needs to let the staff, especially the Kitchen, know they're doing an excellent job. Thanks guys! Oh, and they have great draft beer selection!

No room for dessert! I wanted to try the carrot and red velvet cake but the entree left me stuffed. The grouper was grilled to perfection! The whole plate was terrifically seasoned and the portions were spot on. It’s tourist pricey but it’s located in the airport north hotel zone so that’s to be expected. The service could have been a little quicker/attentive but, all and all a good meal.

Coming last night was great for my family gathering due to the atmosphere but the food was not up to par. The restaurant only get a 3 due to the waiter and atmosphere otherwise it would be less. The food pertaining to the Shrimp, lamb, crab cake, grits and kids burger did not meet the mark. Let me explain. The shrimp was burnt and over cooked The lamb portions were small and burnt The crab cakes did not have a rich taste and it wasn’t pan fried to perfection. Pappadeaux crab cakes are so much better. The grits were not creamy at all. The salmon looked like a chicken breast in one dish at our table and was over cooked. My table was not the only table disappointed. My sister spoke with the Manager who seem to not have a sense of care nor urgency to try to make it right. No I would not agree with 5.8k reviews of stating this place is awesome. The alcoholic drinks are something to rave about; that may play a big factor in being intoxicated and needing to eat which would give people the best experience due to not being fully aware of quality. As I have mentioned many times; I am plant based, I will eat seafood every so often. So to be clear my taste buds are far from tainted. We did get a few items taken off the bill, so if or when you go and it’s not up to par, please give an honest review and make it known to the restaurant.

First time in Atlanta and decided to look up the nearest cajun food by the airport. I've been to Louisiana and walking into this restaurant was on a whole 'nother level. Someone mentioned in another post that although the outside doesn't look like much, the inside is very on point. Feels like you're walking into a time piece even with the side patio. The food was incredible but even better, our server Kevin was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of on sweet tea refills and made sure we had enough. Even at one point, my friend shed some tears sharing an emotional story and he noticed right away and brought some Napkins. The chef even came around to check in on every tables and she's wonderful. Definitely worth a visit especially if you need a hearty delicious meal right after your flight. Would come back and recommend to anyone.

Was in a training session across the street and walked over. Got there just as the opened so it wasn't busy, but was getting that way when I left. The shrimp Po boy is fantastic. The shrimp is lightly fried and generous portions. The roll it was on was really good. Huge, but not heavy at all. The potatoes were also good and flavorful with a good seasoning. Way better pairing than fries.

Can't say enough amazing things about our experience here, but I can say we dined here two evenings in a row! Not only is every dish sensational, Kevin was fantastic! Our server out on the patio was awesome as well (same table last night too)! Highly recommend the crawfish ravioli! 👌 🍹

This is a real taste of Louisiana. The flavors of the food will dance in your mouth. It's just the right amount of spicy and real flavor. The customer service is five star, even though they had a full house, the server made us feel like she was really focused on our table. The atmosphere is New Orleans, Jazz, Bayou and then some. You have to stop by and get yourself a taste of the best Louisiana Cuisine in Atlanta.

The waiter and bartender was amazing. But the food was not. After spending $100 I still tipped well because the service from the waiters were great. The rice came out soaked in the sauce the spoon actually fell into the bowl. My salmon was dry and the pasta sauce was soaked at the bottom of the bowel. Best thing about this brunch date was the drinks and the servers. I was too tired to even complain 😴

Food was pretty good. The jambalaya was a bit cold on portion of the plate... The chargrilled oysters overall were warm, but one was chill. I tend to like mine more charred, but flavor was good. Gumbo was decent. The place has a stick to it, but I think it's more of what a lot of customer smoke... So I would recommend not sitting near the bar.... They didn't smoke inside, but there was a specific stench that they carried. I believe others have commented on this. Service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy running around

I rarely give five stars and I so wanted to give Louisiana Bistro five stars. The staff and restaurant were top notch. My associate had the stuffed oysters and a cup of gumbo. He literally said everything was the best food he ever ate. This is a huge statement from a man that has spent 30 years traveling for business. As a main dish he ordered the red snapper and I had the grilled shrimp. Myself, I was expecting flavorful shrimp, they were OK but not up to my expectations. The sides were amazing and I apologize I cannot remember the name of the corn side dish but it was fantastic. Even the black beans and rice were worth much more than being called a side dish. The Louisiana Bistro has its own sauce that should be a staple in your pantry. Just the right amount of spice and flavor. My associate from Saint Louis was so impressed with the sauce he wouldn't leave until he got a bottle to take home. So 4.9 stars if I could do it. Great job everyone at Louisiana Bistro.

I have eaten here several times, and this place never disappoints. It is hard to find decent Cajun or Cajun inspired food in Atlanta but this place hits every time. On my most recent visit, I had the crawtater grouper and it was amazing. The fish tasted fresh, flaky and I loved the cream sauce that it was smothered in. The étouffée here is also very good. It is a casual place with friendly waitstaff. Parking is free.

Louisiana bistreaux was really good! Great service! The inside has no frills and it does not give fancy restaurant vibes but the food is good. Try the old fashioned ! Nothing That I tried disappointed me so try it all.

This restaurant is a 10/10 rating! From the time we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth and great hospitality! The food and drinks were so delicious. The prices are reasonable. The waiter consistently checked to make sure we had everything we need. I will definitely be going again. Great Louisiana food vibes!❣️🔥

Awesome service and food!! I would highly recommend this place! We made reservations around 17:00 and was seated promptly. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was out of this world! I can’t wait to return!

The grouper and alligator bites were excellent. Servers were very attentive. We went during lunch rush and relieved and ate our food with an hour. This was my second visit and I remain impressed.
