Food was great! I tried the Bob Marley cocktail (don't sleep on it), Andy's Oysters, and the Ultimate Fried Basket (fried oysters, clams, shrimp and, fries). The portions are decent. Cool atmosphere. Coming from the food service industry I would say that if you're going to tack on a 20% gratuity to each check make sure the servers are delivering the level of service to match the tip.

Hubby and I had the Deluxe Seafood Platter. It was plenty of food and it was absolutely delicious 😋 It had 2 crab leg clusters, about 6 large shrimp, 1 Alaskan crab leg, half of a Lobster tail, 4 oysters I gave mine to hubby because I don't eat oysters-he loves them, ALL of it was fresh with coleslaw and tuna salad!! I don't eat coleslaw, but the tuna salad was really good! Things to know:20% gratuity will be added to all checks over $50, you can't substitute menu items, no more than 3 separate checks per table, only valet parking available.

We were out late and wanted to sit down and eat. They were the only thing open. They close at 3AM. We lucked up and there was no wait. We were seated on the balcony. Tylee was our waitress. She was pretty good. Food came out in a decent time frame. My food was really seasoned. Almost too salty But everything was hot. My hubby's burger was hot but burger patty needed to be seasoned. His fries were cold. Tylee brought out a fresh order. Everything is Expensive! Calamari $26!! It's been a while since I ate here, I would have to be desperate to go back due to pricing. Only Valet parking available, No charge but must tip.

We were returning from a late flight and needed a food option that’s open late so we chose Spondivits. We went on a Friday night and they didn’t close until 4am which was perfect. This was my first time at Spondivits, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. They were busy but we still got seated pretty easily. The menu has several fried and steamed seafood options. We chose the shrimp and snow crab bucket. The buckets don’t come with any vegetables or other meat like sausage so we added an ear of corn. The food was really good. It was steamed/boiled with butter and seafood seasoning. Overall it was a good experience. I would visit again to try other menu items. I didn’t like the automatic 20% gratuity added to every check regardless of size. This doesn’t guarantee you get good service for that 20%. As a side note, I recommend using their valet parking because it’s the most secure and convenient option.

No just NO! This place pretends to be upscale with its very high prices, but it absolutely isn’t. Food was ok, crab cakes were pretty tasteless. The rice was good. But the cost of most items was crazy. And if the bill is $50, automatic 20% tip added - how DARE! I added 22%, my bill was right under $50, but no, for a single person you don’t tack on a 20% tip cause some of your “clientele” don’t tip well……. And when parking, you get stuck with using a valet (!!!!!!) as there is no non valet parking!! Their “house rules” are extremely ‘indignant’. Don’t ask for it your way???” Oh yes I will ask for it EXACTLY my way unless you are paying the bill. That’s not a restaurant, that’s BS……. Not ever again……

Let me say, this place was well worth every penny spent! Me and my wife were suggested to try this as we both love seafood. We were told the atmosphere was a bit loud but very popular. We get there, valet parking because there is only one way in so you won't have to worry about that. Our server "Lo" was the coolest cat ever. He broke down the menu and prices, quick with everything we needed, not overbearing and very attentive. If food OMGawd was perfect. Crab legs, clean breaks, the steamed oysters, shrimp, the tuna salad was delicious! We shared the Shark Platter: The Ultimate Seafood 2-Course Feast. Pricey with drinks, but we got seated right away, the music was excellent. Mixed crowed but it was very mellow. Definitely will come back. I hope my server "Lo" sees this. Thank you again Bruh! And on top of it all, the owner came out and spoke with us.

This place is still iconic for the seafood/drinks. It’s been over 10 years since my last visit but the drinks are still strong. The food was fresh and hot. The portion size was great. My server Immanuel was great and knowledgeable about the menu. The blackened Corvina fish was good. Will be returning soon.

Came on Sunday, July 23 for my birthday dinner and was surprised that there was no wait. Everything was great! Fresh food and the Bob Marley was strong! The bucket came out fast with a lot of shrimp. We sat outside and was bothered by a couple flies, but it wasn't a big problem. Our server was good and made sure to tell us about the automatic gratuity up front. Free valet parking in the back. I definitely recommend for seafood lovers.

It's been 10 years since I've been here, and I remember it being good. I ordered the crab cakes which were just okay but this was my friend's first time and she ordered the fried lobster tails and the batter tasted like 'hair product' for lack of a better term and the garlic butter had a bad taste as well. The meal didn't taste good at all.

I use eat eat here quite frequently. I haven't been in a long time especially since covid. Now that is time to get out and about again I look forward to going back to places I used to enjoy meals at as well as trying new places. Over the years Spondivits has not changed much. It is still a small spot which makes it kind of cramped for seating. I typically have not had any issues with staff, they are usually welcoming and friendly. This is kind of a No Frills restaurant, it's comfortable and laid back. I will say that the prices have increased tremendously over the years. This used to be a little more affordable than $60 Seafood buckets. This is not a place that you go if you don't have a couple hundred dollars to eat LOL. Could you find a couple of items to eat and spend less than $100 a person, of course, but are you getting some seafood and a drink for under $100, not likely. I got the fried lobster tail sandwich. I used to love the fried lobster tails from here, but now they are a little soggier than what they used to be so I don't know if they changed the breading or what. And they were kind of bland, the rest of the toppings on the sandwich made them better but the lobster tails themselves were really seasoned. The cherry lemonade was delicious however. Our server was very friendly and pleasant, she made sure she checked on us and kept our cups full. Only downside was they were out of to go cups and I really wanted to take my lemonade because it was so good and I had only taken a couple of sips.

So this is not my first time here but the first time I did a Togo order and I was just not happy so I gave 3 stars because the wing flats were good and they do come with celery and as you see you get plenty of dressing but that my drumettes were pink and not done so I didn’t eat not 1 of them cause you got to cook chicken fully $16.00 cup of clam chowder was not good at all as you see I tried to season it, it was watery and I couldn’t find but 2- little pieces of clam it the whole cup of it. Only reason I did not go back and have them remake my food was because I was in the area for a work conference the next day and I walked from my hotel, but as a previous customer I felt cheated because for 52$ for wings and chowder it should have been much better.

Clam chowder is very good. My husband really enjoyed his drinks. Oysters decent. Our waitress Destiny took very good care of us and was very prompt, friendly, and personable. We had a great time, we will be back.

Awesome experience mist eat here again! The combo bucket and gumbo was awesome... Ok second visit, good not as impressed but will definitely return. $284.00 for 2, we did have oysters, drinks, crab and lobster so not ridiculously expensive

Great service, parking was tight and awkward, drive through the McDonald’s parking lot, seemed like Valet parking only. Food was good, I had the fries lobster tails, it was a little salty. Drinks were strong and tasty, definitely on my list of places to visit when I’m in ATL!

Stop in for a bite and the wings. The wings were breaded and came with buffalo sauce on the side. I enjoyed the flavor and the seasoning on these wings are definitely above average. 8.5. The waitress was on point making sure we were good and was quick with anything we needed. Overall a nice joint to get a bite and drink 8.7
