The food is fantastic and the service was great. The decor was interesting and the seats uncomfortable but the food was so good we will go back.

Looking for casual dining with budget friendly options? Uncle Tony's has you covered. Convenient locations makes this one of my go-to spots for client lunches, catching up with friends, and family dinners.

Went here on a date for the first time after getting it highly recommended from a coworker. As soon as we walked in, the overwhelming smell of hot sewerage and feces was thick in the air. The food was absolutely horrid. The meatballs were overcooked and tasteless, the pasta and sauce had no seasoning except for a lot of salt and garlic. The calamari appetizer was chewy and undercooked. In my opinion it tasted worse than reheating a frozen dinner from a cheap grocery store. The only positive note I have is that our server was extremely friendly, kind, and understanding. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for “authentic” Italian food.

I love this place! Haven't been back to RI in 5 years and made it a point to go to Uncle Tony's! Love the chicken Parm! As always excellent!

It was a busy Saturday night. The waitress was definitely running around. For an appetizer, we went with Fried Ravioli. Good choice There was a bunch of choices. Went with sandwiches. A Marc Anthony and A meatball. Not everything was finished. Carrot cake to go.

So far so good. Had the lunch special lasagna which comes with soup salad bread and lasagna for 11.00. Haven’t had lasagna yet but sure it’s good. Downed the salad and soup!!! Definitely worth hearing commercial on radio to try these guys out.

I always get their chicken parm dinner plate and substitute the marinara sauce with Alfredo sauce instead. It tastes amazing! All the appetizers taste so good. Their stuffed shells are another go to plate. Gave it 4 stars bc the service is usually great but sometimes the servers don't acknowledge you.

Great service nice bartender. Had soup and salad, large portions. Soup was really good, the salad was large, I didn’t like the honey mustard dressing they use, but that’s on me.

Very good! Haven't been in years, since the location was moved. Still the same great taste. Pizza looks amazing. The Italian sandwich was large and very, very good. Good selection of drinks and cocktails, even had some good ipa's. Can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner.

I took my boss here for lunch last week. Since covid 19 pandemic, I haven't eaten out often. I've eaten at Uncle Tonys for years before the pandemic. We waited over 10 minutes to be seated. The waitress was attentive and our food came out quickly. I ordered the "Plumpy" Spinach pie. It was extremely dry and lacked any flavor. Red sauce on the side would've been a great addition but none was provided. My boss ordered the baked scallops and she loved them. We also ordered the garlic bread with cheese appetizer. It was extremely dry and lacked garlic flavor. The bread tasted old. This place is going downhill fast. If they don't upgrade the menu they will surely close before long. Super disappointed.

Note that this review is for the sit down restaurant not the pizza. Overall service was good but food left a lot to be desired. The cheesy garlic bread was pretty good, basically Texas toast with a ton of cheese so you can’t really go wrong with it. Ordered the veal parm and the meat was only okay, as was the sauce. It did have a tonnnn of cheese which again, you can’t really go wrong with. The spaghetti was honestly not that good, tasted like box pasta and jar sauce. Overall only okay.

We love Uncle Tony's but always tend to go to East Providence location. We feel a better atmosphere is present as well as a better experience food wise with consistent quality. Staff always helpful here and for us feel is less "production" more family.

2nd time eating here. Much better experience than the first. The food was delicious this time, and our server Joie was FANTASTIC. I only gave 4 stars because the previous visit was not so good. I'll go again and see what happens

Went on a Tuesday evening with the family (6 people total). It was not busy in the slightest (rare for this place) and was seated at a back booth. TARA came by to serve us and immediately was rude, would not make eye contact and dismissive. We had waited about 15 minutes before she came over (not a big deal as we were just chatting and the kids were coloring). It took her another 20 or so minutes until she came back with 4 waters, 1 soda, and a beer and took our order. We then waited another 40 minutes for 2 pizzas, 2 dinners, and an appetizer. She brought the food and slammed it on the table. We had asked for plates for the kids, and she snapped back that she had already brought plates, we asked for ketchup and never received it. The pizza was not even cooked, 1 was the wrong size, and all our food was room temperature at best. We waited for her to come by to ask how everything was. She never did. We tried flagging her down, and she would look and run the other way or duck behind the desk. We got a manager, he corrected our order, was apologetic, and she still wouldn't bring napkins or ketchup. When she finally brought it over, she slammed it on the table. My daughter made a remark that she was angry and she snidely stated "no, no one is mad here". I spoke up for my daughter, and TARA continued to argue with me while never looking at me and slamming things on our table. She spilled water all over the table and got super angry about it, never apologized or acknowledged the fact that it spilled. She never brought us drinks after the first 40 minutes of waiting for our initial ones. She waited hand and foot on a table who came in after us but stated she was "too busy" to assist our table. With 4 tables in her whole section. I understand being busy, or under staffed etc but she was neither. Seemed as thought she was choosing who she wanted to provide good service to and who not to. Just poor service and food quality. Sad because our family chose to go to Uncle Tony's for major holidays, events, and weekend dinners. We will not be back.

Really great lunch menu. Try the Chicken Mozzarella sub for lunch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at UncleTonys. The food was wonderful and our server “Jamie” was excellent. We were a very large group and she was able to make sure that everyone was served at the same time and happy with their choices. Thank you for accommodating all of us and for your delicious meals.

We went there for dinner after seeing its gluten free menu online. I was really impressed by the selection and availability of gluten free items. My kids have celiac and it’s hard to find decent places. The food was really good- one of tue best gluten free pizzas we’ve had. I had the regular chix parm & that was very good as well. Service was great and the place seemed very clean. The staff were very hardworking and very friendly. Will definitely go back.

I love all things RI so Uncle Tony's is a hands down must. Pizza that is always as good as you remember and chicken escarole soup I could eat by the quart.Bring some home and let the aromas enhance your living space, yum.

Dined here for dinner . Everything was phenomenal. Our server Dee was amazing and on top of everything! Didn’t have to ask for much she was always a step ahead with refills and condiments. Food was fantastic. There was one thing that will keep me from going back and it was they do not have any background noise ! No music ! I felt like I was in a morgue ! We were celebrating a birthday and felt we had to whisper because it was so quiet , although the restaurant was busy I noticed everyone talking quietly ! All that money on renovating and no music .

The plumpy sandwich with spinach pepperoni and black olives is my favorite with just the right amount of oil and grease. I would recommend the pasta too. Over all spectacular Italian restaurant.

The chicken parm is outstanding- very flavorful and big portion, the baked scrod is one of my 9 year old’s favorite dishes! The fish is fresh and baked perfectly. It’s always scrumptious! My 15 year old loves the cheese pizza- we order it well done. Good service too.

Jen was a nice hostess and friendly. Waitress was inattentive. Fish and chips were delish. Husband said his lasagna was cold but waitress wasn't around much to tell her. Had to ask for refills. Kids loved the pizza

We are regular customers and love there pizza. But this last time we got our usual large square pizza. And it is slways. Ice and thick / but this time it was paper thin ‘ I was very surprised as a weekly customer who gets the same pizza every time . It was disappointing!. And we always get it cooked medium but this time it was over cooked’ just very surprising .

I've been going to Uncle Tony's since my parents took me as a kid. Have never gotten a bad meal in the 45+ years we've gone. We always use their catering at holidays, too.

Very good food. I've only done carry out. The food is always fresh and hot. Portions are perfectly sized.

A classic red sauce joint. Everything is like my nana makes, pizza included. When you absolutely have to have some lasagna or stuffed shells, this is a pretty great contender.

Uncle Tony's in Cranston and Johnston are awesome the food is great the sauce is great. Don't ever go to the one in Pawtucket omg I ordered the pasta and clams they were so slow getting the food out and the sauce was so nasty there they need a new cook .the waitress asked if she could get me another meal so I got fish and chips. I thought they all had the same recipe for sauce but I don't know what can this guy took it from but it was so nasty it tasted like hot ketchup I will never go back to the one in Pawtucket. My friend wondered why no one down that end ordered pizza from them and said places food sauce was gross till he tasted mine.were so used to the exceptional taste and service from the one in Cranston and Johnston to come here to this one was a nightmare.

We were a party of 10 so we were seated in the 'overflow/function room'. Unfortunately, this room was un-staffed. The server assigned to us had 6 tables in the main dining room so, needless to say, we were pretty much abandoned. And she was clearly overwhelmed and frustrated so...not real friendly. Water was brought quickly. Everything else took forever. Twenty minutes for 2 glasses of wine. Forty-five minutes to order the mixed drinks and the entrées. When our meals finally arrived the dishes were hot and delicious so kudos to the kitchen. Some of our group spent the wait enjoying time with the family. Others became increasingly frustrated over the lack of attention. When it came time to pay the tab we were told it couldn't be split. That meant that one of us had to become the collector, use their card and recoup from the cash-strapped later. I and some some of the others might visit again (only to the main dining room) but as a group, never again.

I ordered the Cleopatra sandwich. It has chicken tenders onions pickles lettuce and tomato on it. Why on earth would anyone want their lettuce and tomato hot on the sandwich?!?! I personally like my vegetables cold, cool but never hot. They heated the vegetables with the sandwich. Soggy cooked lettuce and tomato, It's gross. Totaly disappointed.
