I travel a lot around the country. And in general, I am satisfied with the motel 6 chain. But why do I not see any information about the deposit before booking the room?! I have to pay something else on the spot besides the cost of the room. At this motel it's $75. I must know in advance about the deposit. In fact, you are cheating customers! I have now frozen in the form of deposits about $ 700, since the money is not returned immediately. That's exactly why you get 1 star! The location is good, the rooms are in good condition. The faucet cannot be used, it is installed incorrectly. Almost all of the water flows down the wall of the sink. But the front desk staff is good.

Place is awful. Every negative review was 100% accurate. I have absolutely nothing nice to say except the woman at the front desk was nice upon check in. Do not stay here. Pay $10 extra and stay somewhere, ANYWHERE else. It's really sad because if they put like $10k worth of TLC into this place, it would make a complete difference. I genuinely believe there is no cleaning staff, due to the unimaginable state of the rooms. Look at the mattress, look at the fridge, look at the baseboards. It really is unacceptable to ask people to pay money to stay here. It's very sad and I think we'd rather sleep in a box then sleep here. Only reason we stayed was because I couldn't drive any more.

The baseboards were so nasty, like brown and could see the dirt build up. I understand the place is pet friendly but animals had chewed on the baseboards and it smelled of wet animal. I did a bed bug check when we checked in but obviously didn’t check well enough. When I found an adult bed bug the next day, I put it in a bag and took it to the lady at the desk. She looked at me like I was crazy! I told her I had also found smaller bed bugs and would like a different room. She told me she couldn’t change me rooms and that she was sorry this happened. When I told her I appreciate the apology but would like my deposit and one nights stay refunded she said I’m sorry but I can only give you the refund. I will be calling the corporate office and get our money back for the nights stay. We packed our stuff and got out of there as quickly as possible! BED BUGS 🤢

This hotel is really bad. The mattresses are from WWII, the sheets are dirty and full of cigarette holes, the door doesn't close and the bathroom is so dirty you can't even enter. There is really the possibility of catching an infection, but the management is not ashamed to keep a hotel in these conditions. I unfortunately chose this hotel but I didn't have time to read the reviews.

First I want to start with when I called about 2 rooms with 2 beds on the first floor I was told I didn't need a reservation that they had plenty of rooms available. We get there 4 hours later and they tell us they only have second floor and no double beds. It was late so we took room with a king on first floor and she magically found one with 2 beds on second floor so we took that. (After I started to get snippy about being lied to earlier). Rooms are disgusting. Dead bugs, live spiders, holes in the blanket. Stained towels. Walls and floors are so dirty. This was by far the worst motel 6 we have stayed at but we needed something that would take animals. The only positive I can say is a good location. Also there is a lot of sketchy people that stay here cuz it's their only option.

This is the WORST place to ever lay your head. I don’t even know where to start. Our room wasn’t clean when we first stepped in. Trash and crumbs all over the floor, bathroom was dirty as well. They raise the prices whenever they want to.Whomever the little girl was at the front desk was very rude, nasty attitude and all. It’s good they are pet friendly but they left dog feces in the hallway for DAYS before actually cleaning it.

Worst Stay of my life. I should have been paid the $75 Deposit to stay in this Filthy, Noisy, No Sleep Motel. It is more a pay by hour motel environment. Sheets didn't fit bed came off every move & matress was dirty & thin & extremely soft, should have been in dump not motel, sheets & bedding dirty, toliet made racket every time you sat on it, whole in shower. Above us loud music, conversation, screaming, beside us doors slamming & loud music in parking lot. It should be a Budget Inn because it just destroyed Motel 6 for us. We will never stay at one again. Definitely Not Kid or Family friendly.

This place was filthy! We walked into our room and it was filthy and unkept. The blankets looked like they were decades old. The pillow on top of the bed looked like it was stained withy bodily fluids. We didn’t even make iy past that to view the bathroom. Smelled ild and musty as well. We immediately went to front desk and demanded refund. That was over 30 days ago and still awaiting the refund. Even though I was given receipts I was to get it!

Don't go here, dirty rooms, bugs and horrible staff run by thieves. Ordered a room online, had to pay a separate deposit upon arrival... They decided to keep a deposit for smoking and newsflash I do not smoke nor my girlfriend smokes do to her heart condition. The rooms look nothing nice compared to the online pictures...I recommend picking anyone of the other hotels in the area.

The motel was very accommodating. Though they currently are updating things you may hear a few crews working around the rooms so it can be very loud at times. And for the price you pay the room they are not too bad. plus having a pet friendly place with no extra charge is very helpful. Staff is very friendly & very helpful with any needs that i needed, also Having a laundry room on site was very helpful.

The lady at the desk was very nice. Friendly and accommodating. Motel 6 is very pet friendly without a lot of extra costs. We have stayed at other locations and the found the accommodations quite acceptable for a pet room. That was not the case this time. Very dirty, the floor made our feet black (even though it appeared to be swept). It had a heavy smell of smoke. The bed while mostly comfortable, was failing. It was lower on one side - making you feel like you would slide off. The refrigerator feet were broken so it sat lopsided and the shelving and door guards were missing. It was quite comical getting our items in and the door shut. The paint in the shower was peeling in heavy layers near the ceiling (the water pressure was good). We also had a safety issue. Even though the lot was well lit and the hotel was in area among plenty of others, Our room was on the back side, almost in an alley - someone did try to enter our vehicle around midnight - setting off our car alarm. My husband went outside and checked it out. No one was there, but there were marks on the door where hands had been. We no not recommend this location. Hopefully some updates and repairs will be made.

Filthy room, toilet runs, then does not flush well. Water faucet in sink loose and runs. Hole in curtain and bed spread, room phone to call for help does not work.towels stained. No cold or hot water only tepid.far over charged. Oh and the air system torn apart ...what a disaster. The poor desk attendant speaks English as second language so communication difficulties, and the condition of this motel is not her fault

Booked 2 nights with Expedia. Arrived and the rude attendant told us the system was down and that we would need to cancel. Called Expedia and they needed to speak with said attendant to get refund. Attendant would not answer the phone. Currently on the phone with Expedia specialists to try to get this train wreck solved. If there was less than a 1 star I would give it. Don't use this motel in Chattanooga.

I was fine with the room, not much, only a refrigerator, wifi sucked, couldn't connect, I thought it was expensive for basically nothing, no cooking in rooms, not even a microwave. Cost me $451 for 9 nights, had to extend my stay costing me another $107 for 2 more days, STILL WAITING ON MY DEPOSIT of $75 after 2 1/2 weeks . Contacted them about it. Have to go there personally tommarrow with my receipt and maybe force Just to get it back. I Will never stay there again.

It was horrible the bathroom was nasty and had hair on the wall in the shower. Wash rag was nasty with strings on them and towers. I went to talk to the young girl at the desk she had an attitude about it. Saying she wasn't going to give me my refund back. It was a nightmare. Had blood on the wall where you hang your clothes up on. Pee on the towel set.🤢🤮

Dirty rooms and rude staff. They have a microwave in the office the hotel guests use and staff wouldn't even let us use the microwave for hot water to make some coffee. Told us we had to wait until 8am to use it. Woman didn't want to give me quarters for a few dimes and nickels so I could use their facilities to wash my work clothes but said if I had a bill she could 🤔 The gentleman that worked there was nice but every woman I encountered there was very rude. We were there for work and will never go back when we are in the area. Rooms were filthy.

The price is great if you want to pay the price.. My husband and I moved back here here from out of town. So because we didn't have anything lined up yet we stayed here. It was very good for the first couple of weeks, very nice and helpful. Then they kept making us move rooms, which is fine but when we had to keep switching I kept getting bit by bedbugs. Come to find out the entire motel is enfested with bedbugs. If you do not want scars on your body like I have I wouldn't stay there.

Stayed here a few days ago. Easily the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. And these images are from the second room I was in; the first room I was given stunk of cigarette smoke. The people that run this place thing a couple squirts of Febreze can cover that up, and they’re definitely wrong. Also, walking barefoot from the shower to my bed had the bottom of my feet covered in dirt. I don’t think anything gets cleaned regularly here. They just swap out any wet towels, make the bed, and bring in the next customer. One more thing: They don’t advertise it anywhere, but they will charge you for your whole stay right up front, plus a $75 hold that will stay on your card for a day or two after you’re gone. Something to be aware of if you’re traveling on a budget.

Arrived and was told by a rude young lady we have to pay $75 damage deposit. Rooms filthy, floors sticky with hairy dust glob stuck to it, walls filthy including giant booger on wall between beds, TV remote sticky and not working, room smelled awful like piss and disinfectant when air conditioning kicked on. Asked for a copy of my receipt and was told I'd get it upon check out. Motel next to fire station with sirens blaring numerous times times during the night. Nothing good to say about this place. Do not stay at the Motel Hell, you're taking your life in your own hands at this dump!

If you’re an adrenaline junkie, stay here! You’ll really get that “living on the edge” thrill you have been searching for. Paranoid about bedbugs and roaches, stained towels and sheets, random hairs in every nook and cranny, gross fridge, rusty ac, strange odor, and sketchy people, weird stains and markings on the walls, buildup of questionable debris in every corner, bug corpses. The only good thing is that the location is off the highway and the fact that our U-Haul wasn’t stolen. My suggestion? Spend the extra money to at least stay at best western. Godspeed.

One night only chose for price. Toilet in room 128 is coming loose from the floor. The compressor of the mini fridge is insanely loud. Glad I brought my power strip. Not a single usb port in the room. The flooring is actually smart. It should be easy to sanitize. 30 dollar used bedside table. How'd I know that? The price sticker was still half on it.

First of all, the receptionist was very nice and the bed was comfortable once I cleared the debris from it. I really appreciate a place where my dog can stay for free. However... The property is being renovated, so the stairway closest to my room was inaccessible. The towels in the room were dirty. There were bits of plaster and toilet paper all over the bathroom floor. There was a chunk of wood in the bed, under the blankets, and the blankets were wrinkled. Everything had a deep layer of grime on it. The glass turn-tray in the microwave was gone. The switchplate cover in the bathroom was missing. There were exposed wires hanging from the ceiling in the hallway. The window didn't close all the way.

The rooms have fleas, the bedding has cigarette burns in them. And the front desk ladies are very rude. i didn’t have water for two days in my room and when they changed my room, one of the girls came up to me yelling because my dog left too much fur on the floor.

  • 1/5 Metora T. 1 year ago on Google
First room smelled of smoke, second room smelled of dog poo… no rooms were available so couldn’t change rooms. The bed sheets, blankets, pillow case, everything had hair and dust on them. The floor was sticky, bathroom smelly and some lights did not work. All in all, it was the worst motels I have stayed at 🙃

Hard time checking in, room card would not stay active despite all the "rules", whole building stunk, room dirty and in disrepair with peeling paint, broken electrical components and cigarette holes in bedding, pillows were about 2 inches thick and bed was completely uncomfortable... Shall I continue?? Also, "queen size" beds are full size. Not even worth bottom of the barrel prices. Don't stay here.

Keep in mind - this is a 2 star hotel. You should realize this before booking by the price. So if you’re expecting luxury, this may not be the best fit for you. But if you want a super affordable place to stay in the Chattanooga area that is pet-friendly without added pet fees this is the place. We travel with big dogs and spend limited time in the room so we just want a budget friendly place to shower and sleep and this was perfect for a getaway in the Chattanooga area. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating, shoutout to Gina for making sure we had a pleasant experience. Cleaning staff is really kind and accommodating too.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a motel, service was very good, price was extremely competitive and the location amazing. There is cigarette burns on the bedding and the pillows weren't great but that's why I travel with a pillow and my own blankets. If you're looking for a place to stay between Atlanta and Nashville this is definitely a top choice.

Women at the desk was nice however I wish I would've looked at the reviews before stopping here. It's run down, roaches in the rooms, dirty toilet, stains on the linens, obnoxious sounding toilet and a/c...

This place is a roof and 4 walls. Definitely not worth what you pay to stay here. The chair rail in the hallway to the room is covered with spider webs and dead bugs. Never again.

  • 1/5 Elizabeth P. 2 years ago on Google
The room was so gross we checked out immediately after checking in. There were stains on every layer of bedding and hair all over the bed. Also, holes in the floor, a crack in the sink, and the bathroom door was busted. And the girl working said she couldn't give us a refund. Our weekend in Chattanooga turned into a day trip because of this nasty place.

Rooms were cleanish needs updated bathrooms, service was good needs new beds but just to sleep and get back on the road it's ok advertised 54 a night was 79 after tax..

  • 5/5 James L. “Swisher” S. 1 year ago on Google
Helpful and friendly staff, rooms are decent with 4 walls and a roof and no insect infestation what more could you want from a place, convenient to store and fast food plus delivery if you don't want to go out, has everything a growing boy and/or girl needs..

  • 3/5 Ashley S. 1 year ago on Google
Customer service was not the best. The front desk person was not very forthcoming with information and seemed unwilling to answer questions. The room was decent for the $70. The side table top was dirty and there was hair in the bathtub.

  • 1/5 Cheyenne B. 1 year ago on Google
The room was filthy; brown stuff smeared on door, a giant hole in the wall, sheets had cigarette burns on them, and the room smelt like a burning cord. We only stopped here because of price and it wasn't worth the uncomfortable bed, itchy blankets and poor room conditions. Definitely do not recommend. You get what you pay for is the moral of this story 👎.
