These lodges are beautiful inside and out. The views of the lake are worth it alone. The location is good, although you will probably need to drive/use public transport to access local amenities. The site is peaceful and a relaxing place to unwind. On site staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a slight issue with our fridge, however everything was sorted on the spot. I can't fault that. Overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Fabulous lodges on a great site, in a lovely little village not far from the beach. A lovely, peaceful, relaxing stay. The reason I've given 4 out of 5 stars is that the hot tub could not be used on our first night n we were only there 3 nights. I appreciate this is mentioned in the booking but it's the first time it's happened to me and I've stayed in many places with hot tubs! Otherwise a great break away.

Lodges are very well built and equipped in a idyllic lakeside setting. Loved the hot tub, BBQ and feeding the ducks and geese plus walking down the coast into town. 2nd time here and love it and so did my disabled mother whose in a wheelchair.

Lots of niggly things wrong with the lodges, they are definitely looking a bit tired!! Doors sticking, black mould, and showers backing up to name just a few 🤨 but my main gripe would be the 10am check out far too early and makes your last morning very stressful!! Doesn't leave a great lasting impression of your visit!! Hot tubs were really good and the whole place has a nice relaxing feel about it 👍

Enjoyed this place enormously. Our lodge had five bedrooms, along with a log burner (as well as central heating), and jacuzzi.

Superb place! Its so quiet and peaceful. There are paths to get to the sea cliffs for an easy walk into town. The lodge was clean and tidy with everything you need for a week. The hot tub was superb! We will definitely be going again. It's so good, we might even pick a different lodge every year for the next 20 years!

Beautiful place to stay we stayed in no 8 sleeps 2 very clean tidy the staff were friendly hot tubs to saw geese there is a fishing lake there not far away from a tescos supermarket no shop on site x children can go there and dogs

Wonderful place lovely lodges but the people in the caravans at the back are very rude if you walk by with your dog
