There
is
a
reason
behind
this
2
star
rating.
I’ve
not
been
to
this
restaurant
since
actually
before
Covid.
So
it
has
been
a
long
time
however,
even
with
the
changing
atmosphere
of
the
restaurant
community,
this
restaurant
was
packed.
The
food,
good
pancakes
aren’t
the
same
as
they
were
before
the
pandemic,
but
I
understand
with
food
cost
some
things
have
to
change.
I
go
here
because
my
mother
is
a
very
picky
eater
and
this
is
one
of
the
very
few
places
I
can
take
her
where
she
actually
will
not
nit
pick
the
menu.
They
did
get
rid
of
their
apricot
syrup,
which
was
my
mothers
favorite.
And
I
do
understand
why
they
would’ve
taken
it
off
the
menu
however,
if
it
is
some
thing
that
has
been
around
for
decades,
one
or
two
bottles
in
the
restaurant
for
those
senior
citizens
that
requested,
I
think
would
suffice
it
doesn’t
have
to
go
to
every
table.
We
went
to
this
restaurant
after
church
w/one
of
my
mothers
church
friends
my
mom
myself
I
ordered
a
cup
of
coffee
$2.79.
Prior
to
my
meal
I
only
had
a
quarter
of
a
mug
just
enough
to
wet
my
palate.
The
meal
came
server
beautiful
quick
attentive,
food,
delicious
hot
flavorful.
The
meal
was
over.
There
was
still
an
entire
carafe
of
coffee
left
as
no
one
else
at
my
table
drank
the
coffee
so
I
requested
a
to
go
cup
at
least
to
take
a
cup
of
coffee
with
me
considering
I
was
going
to
pay
$2.79
for
the
whole
carafe
anyway.
To
my
surprise
they
charge
me
$.75
for
that
to
go
cup.
When
I
questioned
this,
I
was
told
that
no
other
place
in
the
area
gives
to
go
cups
to
go.
There’s
no
such
thing
as
refills.
Now
I
don’t
know
if
this
is
a
store
policy,
a
manager
policy
or
a
Perkins
policy.
However,
I
eat
out
a
lot.
I
eat
out
all
over
the
country
and
I
have
never
in
all
my
years
of
eating
out
been
charged
for
a
to
go
cup
for
an
item
that
I
already
purchased.
So
needless
to
say,
if
this
is
how
Perkins
wants
to
conduct
there
business,
that’s
fine,
I
just
will
never
darken
your
doorstep
again
and
will
find
another
restaurant
in
the
community
that
I
know
that
my
mom
will
be
pleased
to
eat
at.
I
am
just
so
sorely
disappointed
that
this
restaurant
decided
to
do
something
like
that.
I
also
really
don’t
think
this
is
the
norm
as
they
like
to
think
it
is
or
at
least
the
manager
would
like
to
think
it
is.
By
the
way
they
did
as
a
one
time
courtesy
remove
the
$.75.
And
yes,
it
was
the
principle
of
the
thing
the
bill
was
just
under
50
the
waitress
tipped
lovely.
But
I
will
say
that
$.75
actually
ruined
the
event
and
caused
Perkins
to
lose
not
one
but
actually
2
customers.
