A well loved local venue. Amazing staff with a highly proactive manager ensuring guests truly feel recognised and cared for. I had three guests on my most recent visit and they all commented on how wonderful the service and food were. Sadly, wonderful venues such as these are becoming part of England's vanishing vistas. Make sure you visit The Marina. You'll be glad you did. The food was magnificent and the service far exceeded the food. Glad I don't live locally; I'd end up looking like the north side of a south bound horse! I highly and warmly recommend. And my Curate, The Venerable Mr Piddles, highly agrees! 4 wags and 4 Woofs- his highest accolade! There are even convenient places nearby where Mr Piddles can check his 'Wee Mail' and do some 'downloading.' What more can you ask for?

Went in for christmas work dinner. The food was lovely and the service was great. The christmas decorations are crazy busy and must have taken so long to put up, and this is done everywhere, very impressive. The staff were happy to be there and making our visit a better one. Thank you

Food is excellent but large quantities. Doggy bags available. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Large dinning area to rear, lounge area, and bar with small tables, plus quite booth to side of bar. Great for holiday family and couples meals.

Reasonably priced pub/restaurant with traditional menu. Ate as part of a group of five. Four meals were good - but my "crispy pork belly" wasn't crispy at all and the meat wasn't tender. Service was good.

Great food, friendly service, and warm atmosphere

Booked Easter Monday. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The menu was comprehensive and when we arrived we were greeted with warmth. The food was absolutely excellent. Fresh veg and the Steak and ale pie was to die for. Couldn’t fault the food or the venue. Dogs are welcome and unlike many of the chains out there …. We were too !.

When you walk in you can't Help but notice the amazing Christmas 🎄 decorations... Very nice interaction from staff Will most definitely go back and I recommend any one to go in there 😁

Great pub with amazing food and an inviting atmosphere. It has always been a go to pub for having a good time in Eastbourne without being surrounded by idiots. Christmas time, the decorations are worth a look too!

Popped in on Christmas day for a cheeky mulled wine. Atmosphere was completely buzzing. Staff were friendly despite being rushed off their feet. The Christmas decorations lent to the festive ambience and made for a perfect start to the day.

My partner booked a table for Sunday lunch, the two of us and his parents. Lovely lunch and staff really looked after us. The manager was so nice and helpful, she even called the taxi company for us when we were leaving, as taxi company got venue wrong. When we are back in Eastbourne we will visit again. Thank you.

Well, what a gem of a pub just off the sea front. We were recommended the Marine by our guest house and we were not disappointed. Very reasonable prices, well cooked food and huge portions. Add to this pleasant, attentive staff and a homely setting and you have it all. We actually returned another night as we decided nothing would beat this pub. Well done and thoroughly recommended

This was a gem of a find for us as we were having a night away, we only had to walk less than 5 mins, the pub is lovely and the food was plentiful, the fish tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection, the side salad was the best I ever had infact my hubby was jealous he didn't order one himself, the staff were very kind and courteous, I saw other people's meals and they were huge too, our 2 dinners and 2 Shandy's come to £27, we will be back on our next visit.

I've been here before and am stunned by the amazing Christmas decorations. The Christmas meal itself was delicious and very reasonably priced compared to other places. I'd highly recommend this and am looking forward to another visit

We always come here when we come to visit my dad. Always great food and big portions. Love it here. Always loads of Christmas decorations too. We arrived at 4pm last Saturday thinking we would get a table easily at this time but it was heaving so book ahead during winter months. Thankfully they let us sit on a reserved table until the time the next people were due then we moved to another table to finish our drinks. Highly recommend for great food and good service. Shame we don't live in Eastbourne as it would be our local.

What we had was very nice but, disappointed at the specials board. There was only two things I liked, Steak & Ale pie or Lamb shank. We arrived by 1pm & NO steak pie so, lamb shank for me which was very nice but, hubby ended up with a burger! We don't do spicy. We'll worth the visit especially to see Christmas decorations. Will definitely go back again.
