Eastbourne Pier or Sheikh pier is in the beautiful place of Eastbourne. This place has a lot of cafes, restaurant, eateries as well as amusement games centre. This pier is quite beautiful like the Brighton one. The shops are not that much cause less number of visitors visit this place. I really liked the quiet and peaceful pier. Just few people and seagulls and you have plenty of time to sit and relax.

It's a nice pier but much smaller than the Brighton one. There is a couple of places to get a drink and an ice cream here, a gift shop, some arcades and glow in the dark golf. Nice place for a stroll.

Lovely pier, plenty of places to grab food, little arcade. They had live music the day we visited which was lovely. It worth the walk around and a sit down to admire the veiw. In places it is a little run down but looks like they are working on the pier as you could go right to the back, but worth a visit.

Fab visit with my nieces the other day. A few of my social media followers spotted me and kindly donated their arcade tickets to us so the girls could buy more treats . Also staff were very helpful and always on standby for when people needed assistance.

Stunning location of the pier, sea and pebble beach. Even more glorious when the sun is out shining. There's various shops and things to do, fish & chips, a bar, selection of ice creams, victorian tea room, arcade, mini golf, fishing shop, crystals & candles shop and a gift/souvenir shop. Stunning views and you can see the start of beachy head cliffs from a distance and the sound/sight of the seagulls.

Lovely pier. You can walk to the end of the pier and look out at the ocean. Great views of the beach. There are places to get food along the pier. There is also a fishing spot at the end of the pier.

The Grand Old Lady, always a nice time had here, and some of the shops are a big improvement as to what they used to be. No speedboat rides from the end any more which is a shame, but you can get a decent high tea or lunch from the eateries on here. A recent re-paint has brightened her up to her former glory.

Brilliant place to take the children. Both my boys loved the crazy golf and arcades. We spent the whole weekend with my boys playing on the beach, seeing sights and enjoying the last of the good weather. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Lots of really nice hotels and places to stay and loads to do. Really lovely seaside town.

Can't not go the pier on a nice sunny day, walking back from Western lawns and kids wanted to try the arcades and look in the sweet shops. Had live music out side the The Drop in Ocean Bar so strayed to check that out. Always amazing views views off the pier too. Didn't do it today but theres a great fish and chip shop on the main entrance.

A lovely white and blue pier with shops restaurants and two arcades. Has lots of seating and a paid for fishing area at the end. The pier offers great views over towards beachy head, Hastings and beyond. The pier is popular and has a classic feel.

Very nice pier, used to come here when we were on family holidays going to the amusements and watching out over the end of the pier towards the sea. It's a lovely pier, plenty to do and see, has some gorgeous views. Nice to see it's being looked after and properly maintained. Have to give credit to the glass shop located about half way down the pier, they've been going for years, they were there when my Mum was a child, I'm glad they're still going to this day, they make some lovely glass ornaments, would recommend to anyone, reasonably priced glass figurines for sale, they made our family some special requested glass ornaments which looked like our dog, they're amazing.

Must place for a stroll when you are in Eastbourne. On public holidays, there were a few stalls setup in addition to the usual cafes. Free parking in the area after 6 pm. Lots of eateries. There are toilet and shower facilities on the beach but not very well maintained.

18/3/23 Not quite the season to be walking on the pier as some of the shops/restaurants/food stalls were yet to be open. There were still a few that were open including gift shops, the excellent β€˜The Chippy’ Fish & Chip shop, a new indoor mini golf stall and a couple of amusement arcades. The pier has plenty of seating but be careful as some look like they are in dire need of repair. Some other parts of the pier could do with a lick of paint and some TLC. Still, I enjoyed the pier very much and had cod and chips from The Chippy after a walk out to the end and back. Always enjoy a visit to a pier, and I would recommend this one especially as they have freshly made doughnuts at the entrance.

Eastbourne is the perfect seaside escape.. Also,Eastbourne is easy on the eye with wide open sea views which catch both sunrises and sunsets..The UK's best views and hikes are within striking distance too.

Great fun when you have a little time to spare. The ticket redemption booth if the arcade was closed so the excitement of winning a Jackpot quickly faded. The staff I approached didn't care so unfortunately I just had to give them away. Not sure I'd waste my time at the arcade again. Outside of that the view from the pier was beautiful and there are great shops and a pub

In great condition, one of the best piers we have visited. Amazing views along Eastbourne front. Thoroughly enjoyed the arcades and our grandsons did too. Had tea and cake in a tea room with amazing chandeliers too!!!

A nice place to work and lots of little shops. Shame they close the shops so early (4pm) but guess they stay open longer in the summer. Great view of the beach from the end

Visited in March so still out of season. Work is being done on the Pier so partly blocked off. Some of shops along the pier seem unoccupied. Views along the beach are great .

Brilliant that the Pier is still here in Eastbourne. Make sure you visit the Shop at the far end, many treasures, seek & you will find that Special item. Lovely friendly Lady who will gladly chat with you. Find out about her many talents. And don't forget to take photo's & selfies, it makes for amazing pics. Enjoy...

Really nice the fish and chips by the pier are lovely and there is an arcade too. There are a few good places to eat. Sometimes parking can be tricky to find by the pier when the weather is really warm

First time visit to this pier. It looks similar to the one in Brighton. It was quite quiet and feel empty. Couple of shops are for rent. The view from the pier back to the coast line is spectacular. We had fish and chip from the the shop at the entrance to the pier. The taste was ok. But not worth with the money you paid, because the size of the fish was quite small.

There are lots of Piers along the coast and Eastbourne pier is up there with the best of them. The blue and gold of the pier really stand out. There are several arcades and restaurants on the pier with great views from the end of the pier. Looks great lit up at night.
