It was a busy night and the staff were absolutely wonderful. It was not obvious at first how busy on arrival and waited nearly 40 mins for our meal after ordering. The seafood platter was great when received. The wine selection was good and the desert with coffee rounded off the night perfectly. I am not sure whether priority should be given to take away orders or seated patrons to improve on the table service. This is something I would like to suggest in considering for a more memorable dining experience. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Usually i go out to eat and I think i could have done better at home. Not at Sunago. They catered to my allergies without a bother, exceptional customer service and the food so good there are no words to describe how good it is. Even my fussy husband was impressed with his meal. Definitely going back to Sunago on our next trip to Echuca. Thank you to the wonderful staff, keep up the great work🥰

Booking process was seamless online and the follow up emails and text were professional and appreciated. We had a really lovely meal - we were seated and served quickly and all staff we met were polite and friendly. Stand out dish for us was the grilled octopus (drool!) and we must say the chips as a side were cooked to perfection! Would very happily return to Sunago for another meal - it was a great dining experience.

We came here for a meal about 7 years ago, not long after Sunago first opened and were really impressed with the food. Back in Echuca 7 years later we have it another go, with high expectations. We ordered the meat and seafood platter. It was amazing. Plenty to fill two,. You could probably stretch it to 3 adults if they weren't too hungry. The meat and seafood all cooked perfectly. The slow cooked lamb was incredibly delicious. Our server was funny and efficient and wasn't intrusive. It was a really great meal and I hope we can get back again sooner than another 7 years.

Having read previous reviews, we had high hopes for Sunago, saving it for dinner on the last night of a weeklong stay in Echuca. We are actually very reasonable and forgiving people - and perhaps we got them on a bad night, being a Tuesday - but our experience here was no good. We dropped $120 on a takeaway meat and seafood banquet, however got home and the oysters weren’t included. We called and the restaurant offered us the option of going back and collecting them, but to do so would’ve meant our food going cold, so we opted out. We were not offered any small refund or other compensatory gesture instead. The food was incredibly salty, in fact we couldn’t eat the calamari it was so salty, some of the lamb was tender / nice but there was an enormous slab of fat in there as well. For a $120 banquet, the ‘salad’ was laughably measly, with one slice of cucumber and tomato for each of the two of us (the picture is exactly how it arrived). The dip was also tiny and some of the chicken skewers were pink and undercooked. All up, we ended up throwing out half of what we ordered which felt terribly wasteful and like we’d wasted $120 as well. Really disappointing.

We had a wonderful meal on a Tuesday night and was surprised how many were there. My wife and I shared a meat/seafood platter, it was fantastic. The staff were so lovely and the prices were very reasonable. We will be back.

I had read great reviews but was even more pleased with Sunago then I thought I would be. The food was amazing, delicious and filling. The service was wonderful and the young lady we had waitressing was a delight to deal with. Thank you for a great experience

Fantastic service and the food was delicious. Coming from Melbourne and growing up near Oakleigh where the best Greek food lives, Sunago definitely delivered delicious Greek food. Flavours was on point. Portion for the meat plate was a tad small for a Greek meal but still very delicious and tender. Would definitely revisit if we’re in town.

Food was fantastic. Service was wonderful. We took my mum who was recovering from cancer treatment and booked an inside table which was too cold for her. The staff were lovely and managed to get us a table outside where it was much warmer. We had a wonderful experience. A little on the pricey side but worth it.

Wow!! Where to start?? Came with a party of 4 for a birthday and was greeted by lovely staff… ordered both the platters and with everything that was on there we could not decide which part was the best as it was all absolutely amazing!! $240 for both platters was great value and worth every cent!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would!!!!

Want a typical BIG Greek feed? Look no further. Tasty, authentic and delicious, and generous size servings. Ordered entrees and the a platter for two and could have easily done without the entrees, but they were too delicious to not order. Slightly slower service when they are busy but worth the wait. Sat outside in a protected area on the street, that has heaters if needed. Large drinks list and friendly service. Parking can be challenging for early sittings but there is plenty of free parking around. Highly recommend this local Greek restaurant.

Went on a 'date' with my boys (18 & 13). One a super fussy eater and the staff catered for our requests with a smile. The food, as always, was amazing. Super consistent quality. Always a great meal xxx

The best seafood I’ve ever eaten . The coconut prawns were amazing , and the mixed seafood was so tender and tasty . Very happy

There was slow service from two wait staff tending bar and having to look after the floor. The peppermint tea was bitter and unpleasant, the kilpatrick oysters were so so so salty and the moray bugs were very dry and the smashed pavlova was overly sweet. Not good value for money

My husband and I thought the food here was Awesome! And that is saying something, as he is a very fussy eater and he absolutely loved it. (Never heard him say that Ever when we have dined out) Everything cooked just to our liking, good prices and great friendly service. We can’t wait to go back to Echuca to dine there again. Highly recommend. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and dine there. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this restaurant. Food is excellent, service is also spot on. Whenever we come to Echuca it's our go-to as it has never lets us down!

Our group of three dined at Sunago to celebrate my wife’s birthday and really enjoyed the night out. We shared the Banquet option and while the food was fantastic, and despite my son’s huge appetite, we had to leave almost a quarter of it on the plates. We will definitely be back, but probably choosing a ‘lesser’ option next time.

We had an elopement dinner here 7/7/23 and it was not only incredible food but the staff were so lovely and welcoming and excited to have us and our 4 guests there! Not sure what staff I had the shot with but geez you make it fun! Thank you so much it meant so much!

We visited on a Friday night and were able to book a table at short notice, which was good. Friendly, efficient service and they did not mind us paying cash. The food was nice - the portions were a fair size. Presentation was good. Pricing a little up the premium end but you can check out the menu before you go and make your own decision. Why four stars and not five? We were sitting too close to the kitchen and as a result, strong cooking smells hung in our clothes and on our skin/hair for the rest of the evening. If we were to go back we would ask to be seated near the front door or outside.

My husband and I went here for the first time as we had a voucher to use. Customer service was great. Meals were quick to come out and had lots of flavour. My husband ordered the lamb ribs and I ordered the lamb sliders and sweet potato fries. Great choice of cheesecake desserts. I ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious. Would be happy to return.

Amazing experience, wonderfully friendly staff, incredible food (we had the Seafood plate for 2 ~ The Poseidon) always cooked to perfection, and the best Margaritas in town!! Always a favourite dinner of ours. Don’t forget to have desert or cheesecake there (or take it home for a snack later) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars but more are deserved. A&O

Firstly great customer service. When asked for advice re menu the young lady was so knowledgeable. Friendly and very efficient. The food was so delicious, tasty and plentiful. We so enjoyed our dinner and when in the area again will definitely return. Thanks.

The Greek restaurant Sunago is delicious. We've never had haloumi taste this good. The seafood plate was delicious too. Your staff are wonderful and caring. It was a pleasure dinning here. We had a great time here on our sister's trip away. Will be back

We got the banquet for 4 people @$60 each. Huge amount of food. We had to take it home so bring some tupperware. Excellent value and friendly service. Could've done with some sauce for the seafood and a little more salad but still a fantastic deal and the best meal we've had in Echuca. The seafood is excellent with the oysters and baby octopus. Book ahead.

What a truly amazing find in country Victoria! I could use many many superlatives about the menu, the food and the service and make this a normal review. Instead, just go there. You won't be disappointed especially if you get the young man who looked after us on his first night 21 May.
