I made a booking via a third party agent last year and unfortunately we had to cancel as one member of the party contracted Covid. We were then given a credit, less 15% commission paid to the 3rd party. What I didn’t realise is we were only given 6 months on the credit and by the time I tried to use it, the owner said they were “unable “ to honour it. In reality, they were simply unwilling to honour it. Zero compassion for us.

Stayed at the Cocknbull Hotel, the Adelaide room, it was perfect for a couple. The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated and well set up. When we arrived the heating had already been turned so it was nice and snug. The bed was so comfortable. Located just off the main street right beside the river and walking distance to all the café, restaurants and tourist attractions. Would definitely stay there again ( I love it when your hosts are so welcoming and cheeky)

Perfect for a mid week work stay, spotless and very welcoming. Close to Main Street and perfect location on the river.

Up market Boutique Wine Bar under new management. Very friendly staff with reasonably priced drinks in a tranquil setting. We will definitely be back

The new owners are straight forward and don't mess about. I suspect they were farmers of some sort before taking on this establishment. They are real, down to earth people. There is clearly a steep learning curve to running a hotel, and it would not be fair of me to mark them down for still getting their act together on the first week. I would recommend others stay here. My friend Matt & I had a nice stay despite seeming to have contracted some form of bed bug bites.

It’s early and we are here for the next few days but we have stayed at enough places to know…. This is GORGEOUS…. First time in Echuca & In Victoria…. We were welcomed so beautifully…. & Trevor 🐶 well he sealed the deal before seeing our accommodation… BUT it’s BEAUTIFUL…. Sooo clean the blankets are ridiculously cosy … & literally has EVERYTHING WE NEED & COULD WANT for a-little family getaway and the view is just precious everything I wanted for our get away …you can keep us lol love it here 💕

We had a great stay for my husbands burthday The room was spacious and clean Loved the eco touches like re usable cofeee pods and Real milk in a glass bottle Would not hesitate to stay again .

Beautiful, relaxing spot to stay at. Got everything we need and they are so friendly and easy going here. Not too keen on the open bathroom and toilet layout to the bedroom which means someone can sit on the toilet and there is no closed door or wall to the bedroom. Love that its near a stunning walking trail by a river!

We stayed in the Adeliade Suite. Room is beautiful, elegant and stylish. I was a lovely way to enjoy our wedding anniversary. Hosts were great. Highly recommend.

Lovely few days in Echuca! We booked the Henry Charles suite & the Emmy Lou rooms. Cosy, super clean & comfortable. Bed linen was beautiful. Hosts very kind & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in close proximity to al the shops, cafes and bars. Dave the host is very courteous and made us feel very welcome. Parking is easy. The room that we had is very dark and bathroom facilities lack a lot of privacy so you need to be travelling with someone that you are reasonably familiar with.

We had a fantastic weekend away from start to finish. We parked the car and didn’t get back in it till we went home. So close to town but lovely and quiet. Beautiful walks and so much to see and do.Dave was so helpful in every aspect . There is so many choices for meals that it is probably the hardest decision to make for the day. Would highly recommend staying here it was a great choice.

I had a last minute cancellation of an Air B&B so I was scrambling for an alternative, it was a blessing in disguise. We cooked our pavlova to take to my family's Christmas, took advantage of the pool and walking along the river. Requested extra coffee pods, immediate response, on Christmas Day!!

A lovely spacious apartment with an excellent outlook over the Campaspe River. Ideal for a relaxing break with everything necessary for dining in if desired.

We often stay at CocknBull Boutique and always have a lovely time, the apartments are stunning with a great view. within walking distance from the port and pubs. and staff are so lovely.

This would have to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I naturally stay up quite late, but when I went to bed I wished I had gone to bed at 8.30pm. I was only here for 1 night, but will definitely be back when next in Echuca. So nice to be greeted by such lovely people as well.

This is an amazing place to stay. Close to everything, great bed, kitchen facilities. Loved it.

Very comfortable, every amenity, spotlessly clean, great location and an easy walk to everything, plus friendly, helpful owners. Echuca is a lovely town with plenty to enjoy and the CocknBull is the best place to base yourself!

Stayed 2 nights in the Henry James room, and it was wonderful. Dave and Summar were great to deal with. Views over the river from the balcony were. lovely A short walk to many choices for meals and to the port area.

Excellent accommodation and location within walking distance to lots of great eating places. Our hosts thought of everything in our very well appointed apartment. Happy to return anytime to see our new friend + resident at the Cocknbull; Trevor the poodle.

We had a lovely stay here in Echuca. Close to the shops, on the river (beautiful outlook) and close to the paddle steam boats. The apartment was huge! The bed was comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Bang in the centre of the action, but nestled cosily away in a quiet nook beside the Campaspe. The facilities are excellent and it is a wonderful relaxing place to chill and a perfect base for exploring Echuca. You're a few minutes from the Port, for instance and easy walking distance to coffees, restaurants and other attractions. We'll be back.
