Train station Transportation service Bus stop Transit station

👍 Old place but nice as well. The trains are clean and always on time. Outside of the train station there is a bus station, where buses go to Flensburg ZOB (Flensburg central bus station) . From Flensburg ZOB there are buses that go almost everywhere around Flensburg. People often mention train, station, Flensburg,

The rudest most arrogant staff I have ever met in a buffet cafe. Their lack of customer service is outstanding. Will never spend any money in there again. They don't deserve the custom.

What a luxury the train that goes to Fredericia from Flensburg... very nice seats that are very comfortable! You can drink from a car on the train, but that is an attraction in itself... numbers are indicated everywhere on the outside of the train, even at the intermediate stops where you get off it is indicated everywhere which part of the train that is! Racks that hold newspapers and plastic bags look like design, now I understand why Denmark makes many beautiful designs for different things!

Disastrous toilets, dirty and without paper, but cost 1 euro entry. There is nothing like this in DK!

The use of toilet costs 1€ but it's disgusting in there. It smells bad, there is urine everywhere on the floor and it's wet. There are no hangers to hang your bag or jacket while you go to the toilet, which is more important in a place of travel. At petrol stations you pay 0.70€ and get a coupon of 0.50€, so you really just pay 0.20€ and it's clean. People should be able to use the bathroom at the train station and when you pay 1€ for it, it should be reasonably clean. Otherwise old train station which is fine.

Small railway station on the way from Denmark to Hamburg. Transit station where changing trains (one which came from Aarhus to another one which goes to Hamburg from here) were organized very well - both trains were on the same platform on the opposite tracks so just a few steps between leaving one train and boarding another one.

I never thought I would write a review about a "train station" or its employees. But 3 stars for that nice lady at DB in Flensburg. She could not find a good enough apology for the tardiness of their train, there must have been too many trains on a Tuesday, I experienced a much greater tardiness when I was on my way from Paris to Hamburg. This train arrived 2 hours late at Hamburg, but it was the weekend anyway. The train was 15 mins late and made me miss my connection to Denmark. "The Danes won't wait", said the nice lady, which is typical of the Danes. Danes have inherited the German punctuality, and the Germans got too big to control their schedule, but let us face it, the Danes are NOT many and have been the same population like, forever. She handed me a couple of coupons to a small coffee and a sandwich, I chose Ham n Cheese. Then she put me in a FAST Taxi that drove me to a train stop inside Denmark and caught a connection from there. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the train station, which is located here in northern Germany, is no longer in the best condition and is therefore losing its attractiveness. Many parts of the station appear run-down, particularly the hygienic facilities, which are in inadequate condition. Furthermore, I don't feel a sufficient level of security to feel comfortable there in the evening.

Best place for visitors to chill would be near the waterfront and schiffbrüke street. Also walkable distance from train station.

It takes me quite a long time to write a negative review, but this train station is still (!) an absolute disgrace. Toilets closed due to vandalism, okay. “Sitting is prohibited” in the only seating area in the kiosk. Everything cordoned off as a precaution. "You can go into town, just a 15-minute walk, and there are toilets there too." Not to mention the remaining neglect and the smell of piss. As a frozen cyclist you arrive and think, where did I end up here? Finally, less than 5km further north is Rider's Heaven. Shame on you, Deutsche Bahn and the city of Flensburg! Maybe Daniel Günter should travel by train. I will definitely avoid FL.
