It's a place for people with extremely low standards and poor hygiene awareness. The rooms are so old and dirty, flies everywhere... even in the dinning room and rotten food. The room was stink from cigarettes smell and it was so cold and my kid got sick. The staff was ok except a young lady which was really annoying. I was so upset with the place, i brought 2 families with me following a friend recommendations... he is no longer my friend!

Sporthotel Grafenwald is an excellent choice when visiting the Vulkan Eifel, especially for families. While the hotel is a bit older, and shows its age in places, it is well maintained. The bungalows are large and comfortable. The restaurant serves high-quality, tasty food for breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of activities on the hotel grounds (e.g., gym, pool, minigolf, playground) and tons of tourist attractions within an hour's drive from the hotel. The staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. Overall, highly recommended!

Fantastic resort hotel, beautifully integrated into spectacular woodland. A traditional hotel with detached huts surrounding the main hotel, with a fantastic range of facilities on site, including a first class tennis school, spa with swimming pool, mini golf course, play ground including an old steam engine, and kids club. The hotel may not be the newest, but is well maintained and the traditional brings its own charm. Breakfast is a busy buffet style Breakfast, but offers everything you want including specialist gluten- and lactose free alternatives. Although there is a large hotel building at the center for us it is the many little huts around the resort that are the best to stay in - your own little house by the edge of the woods with generous living space, little kitchen and separate bedrooms - and your own sun terrace. The hotel is located in the heart of the spectacularly beautiful Eifel region, with the town of Daun nearby, although a car is needed to get around. A highly recommended stay!

Stayed in the Comfort Suite which is very spacious and nice. Overall great facilities for families with large pool, sauna, gym, adventure playground, minigolf etc. Staff is very helpful and polite. Unfortunately food is average at best, both at the breakfast buffet as well as in the evening. Stay at this place for the facilities but do eat outside. Overall good value for money.

A February weekend staying and racing at the ETS r/c car racing event. Easy booking on website. Check in was quick and friendly. Loved the room. Big and spacious. Plenty of light and outside seating a bonus. Ate dinner in restaurant two nights. Both delicious and great value. Save room for dessert. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Plenty if choice. Filled me up all day. Would love to go back in spring or summer. Highly recommended

We spent our vacation this summer at this hotel. We had a little house and during the day we took half pension. The breakfast was more than enough and good quality. The evening dinner was every evening different than the one before. Everything was yummy at the dinner! We had 2 little kids with us 1year and a 4 year old one. The service was every time polite and good mooded! For the little ones there are special chairs. The house was very clean and surrounded by nature. Maybe a little outdated but that was not a problem for us. The nature round the hotel was really beautiful. We did some really nice walks in the forest. The swimming pool and accommodation of the hotel was fine. Overall this was a good vacation for us!

Loved my large studio and the elaborate breakfast buffet. Personnel was super-friendly and the hotel is located at the end of a street in a quiet natural area. So why the three stars? The evening buffet was mediocre and WiFI (important to me as I work on the road) was on and off.

I’m a little indifferent about this place. Location, layout and general facilities were really good but it could do with some investment to enter the modern ages. No WiFi in the room where we stayed. The evening service staff were excellent but the morning staff not so much, maybe needed their morning coffee.

The villas are spacious, but should be cleaned better, they are full of spider webs and spiders... Breakfast is good, the buffet dinner is not amazing quality. Pool water is a bit cold, spa facilities are quite nice.
