Nice, relatively small museum dedicated to human evolution. The development of humanity is followed from room to room. The life and culture of the respective time periods are described in a variety of ways. In addition to original finds, there are also many drawers, drawers and screens on which many other details can be seen or understood. Most of it is also easy for school children to understand and should arouse curiosity about further experiences. Guided tours are just as possible as exploring on your own. You should allow at least one hour for the inquiries. At the entrance there is a small shop and also a café (Mon appetite). The surrounding area invites you to take a walk in the forest.

Ein sehr interessantes Museum mit tollen Ausstellungsstücken und vielen Erklärungen, wie wir zum dem Menschen von heute geworden sind! Zu dem gab es von einer Museumsmitarbeiterin, zum Start in die Geschichte, ein einführendes Gespräch. Sehr gute, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten und im Museum sehr saubere Sanitäreeinrichtungen auch behinderten gerecht! Einen Stern habe ich abgezogen, weil die Gastronomie, welche im Prospekt angekündigt wird, nicht vorhanden war. Trotzdem ist es den Besuch allemal wert.

Schön gestaltete Ausstellung in einem sehr abgeschiedenen Museum. Man wird als Besucher in die Ausstellung einbezogen und kann alles selbst und aktiv entdecken - Berühren ist erwünscht! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schade, dass derzeit keine Gastronomie vorhanden ist, diese hätte dem Besuch bestimmt noch etwas mehr Eindruck verschafft. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Ein wirklich sehr gelungenes Museum für Ur- und Frühgeschichte. Es kann sehr anschaulich vieles angefasst und ausprobiert werden. Das beste am Museum ist aber die Darstellung der Menschen an sich. Die Haltung ist sehr respektvoll und voller staunen über die Lebensleistung unser aller Vorfahren. Das hebt das Museum sehr positiv von der Fülle ähnlicher Museen ab. Das Personal war sehr freundlich- danke nochmals für die Essen Empfehlung in Neuwied. Auch der Shop ist wirklich super und bietet Sachen, die ich so noch nirgendwo gesehen habe. Insgesamt also absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben Frühstück und Museumsbesuch kombiniert. Eine klare Empfehlung, das Frühstück ist sehr gut, ausgewogen und qualitativ hochwertig. Der Museumsbesuch ist zumindest für die, welche sich für das Werden der Menschheit interessieren, lehrreich, zumal in dieser Kombination eine kompetente Führung die Begleitung übernimmt. Der Zeitaufwand: 10:00 bis 11:30 gemütlich frühstücken, danach der ca. 60 minütige Rundgang durch das Museum. Wer dann immer noch nicht genug hat, kann einen Spaziergang durch den Wald machen und dann zum Kaffee nochmals in das wunderschön gelegene Museumskaffe zurück kehren.

Wir waren begeistert! Endlich ein Museum, dass die Entwicklung des Menschen unterhaltsam, abwechslungsreich und informativ darstellt. Sonstige archäologische Museen konzentrieren sich nur auf eine Epoche. Hier werden die Zusammenhänge klar.
