😐 It´s a decent gym, clean towels, equipment in excellent conditions, and always clean, in my opinion it needs more than one machine of each type and I personally believe ~$100 a month is not worth it, but there is not much options to chose from in the area. Schedule is also very limited. Overall good... People often mention equipment, staff, clean, great, classes, people, Cleveland, month, membership, price,

Employees are rude and enforce useless “tips”. The Instagram social media account is run by a extremely rude person who puts people down and calls them names when they don’t agree with them. I was called “having a stroke” Extremely unprofessional to be represented like that

Very cool gym! The machines are well maintained, the gym is immaculate, the staff is super nice, and overall the place has good vibes. The only issues are their hours and membership discount policy. 1. They close on Fridays at 8pm.. which makes no sense!! Why is Friday different than every other weekdays? Because thestaff wants to go home earlier? Guess what.. people want to work out after work at their regular times. 2. They close at 7 on weekends. For the membership price this is not fair. Please extend your weekend hours until at least 9 pm on the weekends. At 7 pm on weekends there are at least 15-20 people enjoying their work out but kicked out at 7 on the dot… I understand staffing issues and the financial consequences it might have but honestly with the membership price just being raised the small extra cost can be absorbed.. 3. The already known Cleveland Clinic vs MetroHealth different membership discount at the two different sites… which people have already been complaining of… people live in different areas than they work.. 4. They don’t really work as a franchise system (eg LA Fitness) instead two separate, loosely associated entities that share the same name and I presume leadership... 5. Please have a board of directors meeting and discuss these issues. Hear the public voice!! Hear what people want! People have been raising these issues in the previous comments for years! Get a fair, transparent, mutually discounted membership system! Extend Friday and weekend hours! Hear us! And this will be the best gym in the world!! That being said I still gave you guy five stars! Thanks for considering these issues!!!

Great gym! Could do with a few more power racks, but the equipment is modern and you probably won't have to wait for stuff. Hours could also be a bit better. You get what you pay for, if you're complaining about the price then go back to Planet Fitness...

Ppl here are friendly and this is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been a member of. The problem with the gym is for the price they close at 10. Really it’s 9:25 daily and if you don’t get here by then they won’t let you in. For the price You get better bang for your buck at a gym that at least is open longer.

Decent gym but 85 a month? I’ve been training my entire life and just moved here from nyc and never been to a gym that charges that much and it’s not like it’s that great. This is Cleveland not nyc or San Francisco 🤦‍♀️

I LOVE the atmosphere, I LOVE the variety of equipment and areas to workout in, I LOVE that there are group classes, All the staff are super friendly and helpful, And my favorite part are the cooling eucalyptus towels and sauna! Unfortunately, the classes are always at times when I can't come... There are never late night classes, which is the only time I can come... Also, the WEEKENDS are the only time I can come workout, but they close early 😅 For someone who likes to workout at night time and isn't a morning person, it is impossible for me to workout and utilize the group classes.... It's not worth the $70/ month if I can't utilize the classes. Also, the class schedule is really inconsistent... And you can only signup for classes 48 hrs. beforehand... So it forces you to constantly check the schedule and make last minute plans 😩 I can't stand the inconsistency. Also, I love the Les Mills COMBAT class... But they only have it once a month... One of my biggest pet peeves: The women all workout and then go straight into the sauna fully-clothed and sweaty. 🤢🤮🤢🤮 It's absolutely disgusting and insanitary. There's even a sign on the sauna door that says: no gym clothes in the sauna. And yet NO ONE 💯follows those rules. If you can't follow the rules, you shouldn't be allowed to use it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Due to the hours, inconsistency of classes, and price... I can't stay here even though I really like TAC

Great location and vibes 👌 it's good to know full equipment gyms exsist still probably only good one in Cleveland Only thing I noticed drinking water fountains x2 taste awful paying 100 bucks a month they should pay attention to filter intervals is way passed do. should have a clip board and sticker reminder right on the fountain and be on top of it so members can see it. Just have to bring my own water for Now and bigger bottle.

They won't let you cancel a membership in person and then continue to charge your credit card after confirming cancellation over email! Stole $300 from me before I noticed. Ultimately got a refund but it took several phone calls. They were very casual and dismissive in correspondence. Seemed like negligence rather than malice, but still not 100% sure they'll refrain from charging my card in the future. Save yourself the headache and choose a different gym!

Super helpful, attentive and attitude-free staff. The vibe amongst members there is also really upbeat and attitude-free. It is the one place I look forward to giving my time and money to daily.

I was shocked at the customer service I received from the manager today, and it’s too bad - because this really is a nice gym that I was seriously considering joining. Brand new to town as of 6 months ago, I tried the gym at that time but decided to forgo that fitness option for a yoga subscription instead (having budgeted roughly $100 a month). Wanting a change, I walked in today 5 months later and asked if I could try Tremont Athletic Club one more time just to see if indeed I wanted to join - and was told shortly that nothing had changed in 5 months and that I could not try the gym again but would have to pay a very high fee for a day pass (the highest I’ve ever seen in Cleveland). I’m not sure if people were abusing this policy in the past, etc - but it’s too bad - because I was a serious consumer extremely put off by this policy and their tone in conveying it. I shall maybe return one day - but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

This gym has a serious attitude without being Gold's; the approachability without being Planet Fitness. It has all the equipment you could ask for, including kettlebells, rowing machines, and plenty of squat racks. I've been to many gyms, and this one is my favorite. Worth the price.

I have been a member since January and I can say that I am extremely impressed with Tremont Athletic Club. The facilities are always clean, there is a ton of equipment available, yoga/fitness classes are included, and the employees are friendly. I have seen the owner around and he is dedicated to ensuring the gym is always in top notch shape. The gym seems to be constantly improving over time, with small tweaks being made to ensure the club is up to par. There is a nice array of people who frequent the gym and there is a very comfortable atmosphere. This is truly a great place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Voted Cleveland's Best Gym a number of years in a row. I can see why! It's clean, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the patrons are awesome. Membership dues cover everything but personal training. No additional fees for classes, towels, or the sauna. All fitness levels are welcomed and anybody can try the gym for one day, free of charge.

$20 for a day/guest pass is absurd. I couldn't turn around and say no like a peasant.. Classic case of companies trying to "get you" where they can. I feel bad for my bud who pays what he does for the crazy high membership rate. It's a nice clean gym with new equipment, but is it worth it?

Every year in December, I travel from Texas to Ohio, and this gym happens to be the closest to my family's house. Each year, the staff at this gym consistently provides exceptional accommodation and assistance during my visit. The gym is spacious, clean, and really cool!

Pretty cool gym, but unfortunately, you get harassed by political activists in the lobby. I go to the gym to get away from that kind of thing. I asked the manager if it is normal, he said he is only going to welcome that person and a few more times, so clearly they hold a political stance. Very annoying when it comes to lifting, this type of business practice will always warrant a low score from me and my wife. The manager seemed to have a flippant attitude when I asked him about it. Hopefully they change this, I know a lot of people who would love to use the gym and would be made very uncomfortable by this sort of thing

I love TAC! The gym is well spaced and there is a lot of equipment. I never feel like I’m waiting for something. I love having the Pelotons and the amount of stair steppers and treadmills is perfect. My ONLY complaint is the additional amenities you’d expect of a gym, especially a more expensive one: shampoo/conditioner in the showers, lotion, bigger towels to actually cover the entire body. I’d rather not bring these things to avoid them spilling in my bag.

Exceptional. Always clean. Always well-maintained. Always a good variety of equipment available for all fitness levels and age groups. Staff friendly and vested in clients' efforts. Membership cost more than a fair value.

I just moved to Cleveland from Denver and have been looking for a gym, this is by far the best gym I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! It is the least bit intimidating, the staff is awesome (thank you Lawrence!), and the gym itself is stunning. I could not recommend this gym more.

Only thing that could make it better is cheaper memberships and less mid radio tunes (I am sorry to whoever’s music it is)

  • 5/5 Alex C. 3 years ago on Google
TAC is a place that motivates me to get stronger. I love that they've taken COVID-19 seriously and the measures they've taken to keep their members safe. Having peloton access is great as well. Definitely worth the price of membership.

Really nice gym! Spacious, new equipment, airy with lots of light. Staff is great, so are the services. I take my dry cleaning there. You can also have some groceries delivered to the gym as well (very convenient if you have a busy schedule). I go to Saturday yoga and love the class and the teacher. In the summer, classes are held on the roof top with the view of the city. Sauna there gets nice and hot unlike saunas in chain gyms I have visited. Also, there were no sign up fees, which was surprising.

TAC is simply the best gym in Cleveland. The gym is always so clean, the staff is so kind, the equipment is best of the best and the classes are always so good!! I have felt so safe working out here during the pandemic because the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that the facility is clean at all times. Couldnt love a gym more

I recently moved from Minneapolis several months ago, and was previously a long time Lifetime Fitness member there. This facility not only has the same high standards, but shows through there actions their support of the community they serve, with special events, etc. The owner is truly a class act! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality place to pursue fitness their fitness goals.

  • 5/5 Amy D. 5 years ago on Google
I love the atmosphere here and the people are great. They do a lot for the community too. Added: they have Peloton bikes! Love that i can pop in and get a spinning class taken on one of these bikes! I get to choose my length of class and pick my favorite instructor on my schedule and not rush to try to get some place for a specific class. Currently my favorite part of my membership.

Great gym but not for $80 a month. Cleveland Clinic employees only get a discount at University Heights location, only MetroHealth gets the discount at Tremonts. Spoke with manager, wouldn’t budge. At that point its the principle. Makes no sense.

  • 3/5 Phil N. 4 years ago on Google
Very clean, ample equipment, cool location, friendly staff. A bit pricey comparatively and parking can be a challenge if you are there in peak hours.

I’ve lived many places including NYC. This is by far the best gym I have ever been too.

  • 3/5 Jeff B. 6 years ago on Google
Decent facility but high on the price range for what is offered. More than a couple of the manage/train staff are bush league as well, not suited for what is presented as a high level gym. Facilities include no courts, no pool or tub, no roof access either. Probably better off staying at your Westlake or Rocky River gym.

  • 5/5 LT M. 7 years ago on Google
The best gym that I have ever been to. The staff and trainers are all awesome. Clean great place to workout.

  • 5/5 Anh B. 7 years ago on Google
The gym is well maintained with a great assortment of cardio and weight machines, as well as benches and free weights. There are enough cardio machines that one can use at any time of the day. The benches and weight room can get crowded around 5p-7p. The interior is stylish--very modern industrial chic-- and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I'm a big fan of their yoga and HIIT classes when I can make them, and they offer a wide array of different type of classes. It's a bit pricey for membership, especially month to month, and they do lack a swimming pool, but overall, I would still recommend this gym.

Went here for a tour/visit, and the manager was so helpful showing us around, and answering questions. Usually busy, but scenic views, great bathrooms & amenities. Unique location & building, apparel store onsite, and awesome wife variety of classes to take.

  • 2/5 Christian C. 5 years ago on Google
The owner rushed to give me a tour. Did not engage with me. Did not ask me my info to contact me. In New York he would be out of business for treating potential customers like that. The fee is 70$ a month, which is a lot for Cleveland and it s not like it has better features or spaces.

It’s the first gym I’ve ever stuck too. No gimmicks no “club fees” or other traps. Well managed by people who want to run a gym, not people who attended a seminar on how to get rich quick by robbing from people.

Best gym in CLE for a reason. Was at this gym for almost 2 years and it is the most clean, well equiped gym I have ever been too. The price is reasonable given what you recieve and how well the gym is maintained. Staff is amazing where they do great work. The only issue I had was parking after 5 was a tad chaotic. Wish they had the space to pump up the space count. I miss it so much.
