The aquarium size is gigantic. I've seen a scuba diver inside cleaning. The salt water is clear, hundreds of colorful fish dart over head then down a 6' diameter column. Years ago I had a 55 gallon salt water tank and was surprised by the high cost of fish and supplies. I wonder about the budget for this huge tank?!! Scheels aquarium is a wonderful free visit, the stores offers a great selection, the staff is friendly and helpful. Its worth the drive, so many store displays are creative, unique and memorable. Plus the store is dog friendly.

Love going to Scheels. They have a wide range of merchandise, the employees are usually nice, and pretty much anyone can find what they need here! Yes things are more pricey, but it's a great store overall. The only downside is that I wish they had an escalator. They do have an elevator, but people with carts/strollers usually need to use those. The staircase is pretty long and for someone with an injury, it's difficult to get up that many stairs.

This is probably the best Scheels I've ever been in. Biggest store and had the best deals. I got four pairs of shoes and sunglasses all for around $200. Great place to go for back to school shopping.

Very cool! You can walk through, under, and around the aquarium very interesting. I'm still trying to understand how they did the Halloween decorations inside of the tanks.

Kids love this, and so do some of us adults! Two vertical pillar tanks connected at the top to form an archway where kids run around looking at the different fish. Right in the main entrance to Scheels, can't miss it

Great place to go to show the kids about the outdoors.. lots of things to look at, fish and wildlife mounts. Arch aquarium is amazing, plus you have Paul Bunyon and Babe the blue Ox greeting you as you walk in.

Such a fun aquarium! Scheels is a fabulous store, the Eden Prairie store is beyond fantastic! You can bring your well behaved dog on a leash, look at the aquarium, ride the Ferris wheel, have a snack, bowl, or shop 2 levels of a plethora of products from Hey Dudes to sporting gear to clothing for all seasons. This is the place to go!

Tickets were not needed. This is a sporting goods store. The staff is extremely friendly and unbelievably helpful. I had a slight problem and was shocked at the length Andrew and Tanner went to went to "make me happy" after I told the multiple times I wanted nothing. They were insistent on wanting me to wLk out the door happy, and a new Scheels's customer.

I was in and out . Way too many people in there for me it's a pretty big department store. But the staff was pretty well trained first person I asked knew where to go gave me pretty good directions. Second person I talked to knew exactly what I wanted and where it was. I was able to get in purchase two specific items and out in just under 8 minutes.

great store with awesome products. We bought ourselves an ironwood 885 Traeger grill/smoker and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They also honor military discount which creates big savings!

I have always wondered how they keep the aquarium so clean. I finally got my answer the other day when I walked in and saw who we referred to as "scuba steve" hooked up and cleaning the inside. The fish are colorful and a great addition to an already great store!

This is a sports store, not an aquarium. That being said, it has an amazing aquarium on site. Clean, multilevel habitat for the fish. I could watch it for hours, however it's right in the front area just after you enter and no place to just sit and watch. It's a fancy entrance to the store. We did snag some good sales on shirts which was why we entered in the first place. Most clothing is higher priced technical type clothing for cyclists, hunters, campers, hikers, fishers, golfers, etc, but good deals can be had. Lots of gear as well, including dog items. Had taxidermy decor along with the aquarium. Nice place to wander with a clean, open atmosphere.

Very cool alot going on in this store. Along with a Ferris wheel to ride on. Alot to take in. Plan on visiting again in order to check out more sporting items. Liked using the self checkout at the time because of not having alot of items too buy. And being able to catch up with the Viking game playing, boy those last few minutes of the 4th quarter. WOW. Had to be at least 50 or 60 people watching it. Very cool and exciting.

Wednesday before Thanksgiving my 5 year old grandson was off school so we took he and his 28 month old brother to Scheels'. We went early to beat the crowds. They both love the aquarium at the entrance. The older boy always points out Dorey. Then we played at the kid size bowling alley before before going to the faris wheel. It was the first time the little guy was tall enough to ride it and he was so excited. Then we had lunch at their cafe. A very pleasant surprise. The adults split their $8 pizza which was very good. The $5 kids meal had a choice of a small pizza, or chicken strips, or Mac & cheese. The meal included apply sauce, a drink and an ice cream cone. So for not much money we had a great time at Scheels'.
