I paid for a room with a view, but wouldn't bother. You need to be standing at the bay window and looking sideways to see the ocean. The room itself was large, and clean, towels and linen were clean. The bathroom not so much. There was a black ring in the bottom of the toilet, looked like a permanent stain now. The shower screen had plenty of rust, and also this black gunk in the frames, which dislodged when water connected with it. The shower glass was full of mould between the 2 layers. It's time for a thorough clean, or reno. The hot water took ages to come through, and in the meantime litres of water are running down the drain. Kitchenette is okay, but the provisions are very limited. The location is central, which was why I chose it, but it'll be a one-off.

Great location. Our first room,air con didn’t work,so got moved next door,no big deal. Nice view. Room clean. Brown water comes through in toilet and taps,but runs clear shortly after. Shower wasn’t great,Head needs a clean and must be air in lines as it kept changing pressure rapidly,so didn’t enjoy that. Spacious room(21) with table and chairs out front. Bed a little hard. Good size tv. Bathrooms could do with update. Counter tops are very worn. $135 for the night .

Rooms were decorated nicely, however needed a good clean, toilet had a black rim around it and showers a bit mouldy. One spoon one desert spoon, milk was out of date one packet of biscuits. Fridge door was difficult to open due to ice build up inside it. Hairdryer didn’t work. Staff cleaning and restocking room need better attention to detail, it was disgusting really and very overpriced for the dirty state of the rooms.

Nice location.clean room. Bathroom can update. We didn’t get wifi. Not sure whether they have. When we went to the front desk to check that, they closed the door and no one there to check anything.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. Thank you to Billy and the cleaning staff who were all amazing and went above to service our stay. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. The location is great and Ace (horse) just tops it all off. We will definately stay again.

Staying here for the weekend. Room was excellent..clean and roomy. Great shower ... lots of pressure and hot water, not like the water saving shower that you need to walk around under to get wet. Very happy.

Despite its great location, the state of the rooms in this establishment is appalling. I was disappointed to find MOULD on the ceiling of the bathroom, indicating a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. The inside of the fridge was clearly neglected, with food residue left from previous guests. Additionally, there was dust on top of the bed's headboard, and to make matters worse, someone else's pubic hair scattered all over the base of the toilet bowl. It's baffling that they provide a bible in the room but fail to provide basic information such as the wi-fi password or local area details, which are standard in other hotels/motels nearby. If you have allergies or asthma, I would caution you to reconsider staying here given the cleanliness and hygiene issues I encountered during my stay.

A typical 3, not 4 star hotel. Clean rooms hot showers which one would expect at these prices. Reception was closed when we arrived at 4pm and had to call them and then wait for someone to turn up. Fridge wouldn't shut because the freezer was iced up. TV down although it was "claimed" to be area wide.

Nice motel. Big room and bathroom - very comfortable. On the main town strip with a few restaurants and a pub next door. Stayed the night heading to Sydney from Melbourne - good place for a rest. Views better than my quick photo - on a hill overlooking the ocean.

Excellent location but prices hiked hugely over Christmas! Room was large with king bed. We always enjoy a great nights sleep followed by a refreshing shower but was very difficult when the duct-taped on shower head kept flopping down!!!
