👍 Excellent Nashville Hot chicken! I ordered extra sauce because I prefer the burn and it was perfect! Would definitely come again, but the downsides are the place is so loud during the weekend that you can barely talk to anyone inside but that goes for all the restaurants inside. Lastly it it took... People often mention chicken, sandwich, fries, sauce, good,

Excellent Nashville Hot chicken! I ordered extra sauce because I prefer the burn and it was perfect! Would definitely come again, but the downsides are the place is so loud during the weekend that you can barely talk to anyone inside but that goes for all the restaurants inside. Lastly it it took over 25 minutes from the time I ordered to when I got my sandwich. That was a big inconvenience but the sandwich was good. If I come again I'd just order 20 minutes before planned to eat.

A little take out place in the EdgeWater Market by Sloans Lake. Settled in a big indoor food court yard area with other small take out places. Plenty of open seating a bar too. This place is really good on portions, the sandwhich is pretty big and the chicken is really good. The Nashville Spice they use is great on it but it's really not all that spicy. Could use some better spices for sure.

Spicy bird sandwich and fries. The chicken was hot, the bun was amazing, the fries were good - very standard but done well. The thing that made me want to write this review is their gochujang butter sauce. I paid .75 cents for an extra side of it and dumped it on the fries and sandwich. Made the whole thing so much better. I definitely recommend.

i got the buffalo chicken wrap. let’s say i’ve had better but i’ve had worse. chicken is huge inside the wrap with very good toppings but it was dry. i like a nice juicy fresh piece of chicken. mine had been sitting there. needs a little bit more flavoring. prices are fair for being inside a market. would definitely come back

We are here while they were at mountain Toad brewery and the food didn’t disappoint! We got the lucky bird sandwich, Asian chicken strips, and loaded fries. The loaded sweet potato fries were in and I highly recommend everyone try them!!!

I ordered the lucky tenders and the loaded sweet potato waffle fries. The breading on the chicken is a tough layer that is like chewing a shaved slice of leather. The sweet potato waffle fries were way over done, some of them dark brown, and were tough, too chewy, and tasted burnt. The top-most layer had a light coating of ranch and cotija cheese, but they were hardly loaded - there really wasn't enough topping to meaningfully interact with the bottom 3/4 of the hockey puck waffle fries. Eating this food felt like a chore, I didn't finish it. Very disappointed.

The food was amazing, and I love their pickles. I had the spicy bird, and it had a good kick to it while also having taste. I recommend if you have time to stop by. And it only took around 6 minutes for my food to come out.

Loved the loaded sweet potato fries, though I do wish they were freshly fried — the fries were cold when I received my order. Also got the spicy bird sandwich, the chicken in the sandwich itself was great but felt like the sandwich needed some more components to it (e.g. veggies, more sauce, etc)!

I was excited for a chicken sandwich food truck to post up in our neighborhood. One offering a spicy chicken sandwich, specifically. However, Lucky Bird has a ways to go. I bought the Spicy Bird (fried chicken on a bun, with pickles & sauce). I expected a breast patty but instead got two chicken tenders on a bun. A mess ensued. These tenders aren't designed to be made into a sandwich. After each bite, I found myself fumbling to keep the tenders on the bun, while balancing the sauce dripping down the side of my hand. The tenders themselves have kind of a bland taste to them & the sauce doesn't really do a good job of complimenting the chicken. Go the traditional route of using chicken breasts for patties & swap the goju sauce for traditionally buffalo (no need to reinvent the wheel). Nice people, quick service, but I'll do the 10 minute drive to Chic-Fil-A next time.

I am still fuming that the guy working at the Edgewater location said I needed to pay for the paper bag for my to go food. He watched me dig frantically though my back for several minutes for a freaking dime, then made a big deal about “maybe breaking the law this once”. He then said he would tell the supervisors it was my fault and called me by my first name. So rude! I finally found a quarter, set it on the counter, grabbed my bag and stomped off. He laughed at me the whole time. Never eating there again. Decent food, worst service at Edgewater market.
