This place is so welcome to pets, we took ours and staff was so friendly with her and brought her a doggie bowl of water. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

This Restaurant has some of the Best burgers I've ever had!! The Ahi Tuna Burger is genius! It was delicious! You should definitely come here. I like the outdoor area, and the nice touches with the extra greenery with the trees. It was perfect weather for a patio. Inside are huge screens for football or a sports showing. Okay, by far, the best burger I've had in 2022. The flavor of the burger with the peach and candied bacon was ridiculous. Hands down, something worth trying besides anyone of the 40 plus beers they offer. The burger I chose was the Teacher's Pet and I got it with the Truffle Parmesan fries. The fries were just okay. You get plenty of them but again, just okay. The waitress did a fantastic job of explaining the menu and provided some great feedback and recommendations. The burger... it was THAT good. My spouse got The Professor, a grilled chicken sandwich with pesto, gouda cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. According to her the chicken was moist and very good. Rates it a 4 out of 5. Her sweet potato fries did need some more time in the fryer as they were a bit tough. Just come on by and check out the great staff, food, and environment. Lots of screens for you sport buffs too. Place appears clean and well lit.

A great place to eat! We also ordered appetizers; fried pickles (breaded with Panko, red chili flakes, chives and lightly drizzled with Parmesan cheese. We ordered some amazing jalapeño poppers, the jalapeño were roasted and skinned, had a similar outside batter, it was stuffed with a delicious combination of cream cheese, San Manuel chorizo, and pieces of crispy bacon. The menu had a number of hamburgers. They have from regular to very interesting choices. We had “Teacher’s Pet” it had peach, bacon, Brie cheese and jalapeño jam. Our other choice was “The Graduate” which had mushrooms, Gouda cheese, caramelized onions and truffle aioli. Our hamburgers came with skinny fries and we substituted the other fries for beer batter onion rings. The onion rings were not bad, but not fond of the big puffy beer batter. Overall a great meal, excellent service! We visited another time, and it was not a disappointment! Great brunch menu. It won’t let me leave a new review, so had to edit the one I previously wrote. I ordered a Santa Fe chicken, not sure of exact name but it was fantastic! I normally don’t eat chilaquiles but this reminded me of this type of dish. It had a thin layer of refried beans then topped with crunchy corn tortilla strips covered in a red sauce, a little sweet from the tomatoes. It was topped with queso fresco, crema and an egg made to your order. It had a moist grilled chicken on the side. My husband had chicken and waffles topped with fruit and their homemade syrup. I can’t wait to order brunch again.

Even though it's close to campus it's more adult than college kids. Food here is pretty good, but drinks can be hit and miss. I've had fair share where the bartender doesn't know how to make a drink but I am still charged for it bc they made it. I've taken maybe two sips and decided I can't drink anymore of it bc it was so bad, mojito isn't so hard to make... yet here we are. Hire some real bartenders

I love it here, they have a great selection of IPAs. In this instant I ordered the ahi tuna burger on a wheat bun which was okay, but I highly recommend the Hot For Teacher if you're into spicy food.

I am just in love with this place, both indoor and outdoor seating places are very nice. I like their music and also food though a bit price comparing the quantity of the food. Overall a good place to chill. I took shrimp fries, french fries and margarita. ❤️

Last time I was here was in 2015, I came for the game and surprised that food was better than i remembered. Started with calamari and fried mushrooms which were awesome. I had the Senior burger and my brother had the Greek. We both had enjoyed our burgers!! See pics for results. I definitely will be back to try the other burgers. I recommend!!

Great experience! Overall the food was so delicious! We forgot to try the mango cheesecake!!! We shalll return soon. Service was attentive and warm. Great date idea. Any gastro pub usually is. Good atmosphere. Outdoor seating available. Great hangout spot for college kids too. Bar service looks pretty legit too.

Visited the RGV this weekend and was looking for a decent place to grab a bite and a drink. I enjoy supporting local businesses especially with Google reviews. That said, I was very impressed how the staff was truly following cdc guidelines. Employees were wearing face covers, wearing latex gloves and I observed them changing them out. Arrived Friday evening 10:30 the outside patio was a bit busy, a little less social distancing but indoors there were dividers and tables had ample spacing. The drinks were good, but I removed a star I honestly wasn’t impressed with the hamburger patty or the powdered sugar on my sweet potatoes. That said, the staff was friendly parking was a bit full but I was able to find a spot. I would definitely come again should I find myself visiting the area again.

I went to the University Drafthouse House with my son and long time friend Eddy Cavazos. The place is just east of McColl Rd. In Edinburg. Walking in I immediately noticed the all the big screens located inside, perfect for watching any sporting event. Since it was such a nice day we decided to sit outside. Our server took our drink and appetizer order, we ordered the Calamari and fried Mushrooms to start with. Our server brought our teas and shortly after our appetizers. The Calamari was cooked perfectly, it was served coated with a sweet chili sauce. The Mushrooms were also prepared on point, dusted with parmesan cheese, and served with a traditional ranch dressing. I really liked that they were good sized mushrooms, however, a nice marinara to dip into would have really taken them over the top. My son ordered the burger 101 a basic burger, he likes it plain and dry, comes with fries, he really enjoyed it. I ordered the Greek lamb burger with a side of onion rings. The burger comes with tzatziki sauce, feta, red onions, and arugula. The menu stated it comes with roasted tomatoes, but as you can see in the photo there were none present. Also, there was very little feta, but my server brought more upon request. I was disappointed that the pattie itself was dry I was hoping for a juicy concoction,and it could have used some salt to enhance the flavor. I do have to say, those were the best battered onion rings I've had in a long time. My only real complaint was the food was not as hot as I like, my guess is it sat in the pick up window to long due to the lull between appetizers plates being picked up to burgers being served. Eddy ordered the fried Shrimp appetizer for his meal. They were large shrimp served atop slaw and jicama slices. He gave me one, outstanding!! Light batter, crispy real good. Lastly we ordered the brownie to share, served warm with fresh berries, chocolate sauce,and ice cream. The menu stated it would be served with candied pecans, Again, NO PECANS!! Eddy commented Walnuts in the brownies would have been nice, I told him the Pecans would have done the texture effect it needed had they been served. Overall I give them a single thumbs up and deduct stars because of the flies that started pestering us so bad that we had to change tables, and the missing menu items. I do recommend you give them a try, I'll be going back for the O- rings, plus I'll be reviewing the new location in McAllen soon.

Great atmosphere, good live band, but service was extremely slow. I was ignored for 10 minutes then asked if anyone has taken my order, I said no. Then the server said I will be back in jusy a minute. Another 10 minutes later a different server took my order. But the kitchen got my extra crunchy sweet potato fries perfect the first time and quickly!

Great place to meet up with friends. I'm not ready to go into a lot places yet, so I'm glad they've got a big shaded patio. I didn't find much interesting on their lunch menu, but the full menu is available, too. Good service without pressure.

First and foremost, the atmosphere is really great. Live-music, good crowd, especially during a nice weather where it isn't humid and hot. Not to mention the location is nice since you get to see lots of the old pipes as this place is located in an old warehouse. Food was good! Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of the food. Mostly because I got distracted by a friend placing my glass on the edge of the table where I subsequently knocked it over. Fortunately, the waitress was kind enough to clean it up and no charge. Happy accidents! The alcohol selection is good. I got Amber Cider since the Pineapple Cider was not available. Nothing crazy. After eating, you can enjoy the park nearby!

This is definitely a place to watch a game while drinking and eat some appetizers. The food was overall meh and their speakers all had different bass and volume levels. It was a solid quick bite to eat if you are craving fried food.

Excellent service, delicious food and margaritas. The music and relaxing atmosphere is a bonus. Strongly recommended.

I ordered a burger named "Hot for Teacher" or something like that. It was good, but I was expecting it to be spicier. The portions are great tho, my friend ordered chicken straps, and they were huge!

Brunch was delicious! Food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. We had a great outdoor brunch experience. The had mimosas, orange juice & coffee, Yes please! Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday til 3 pm!

This is based off of multiple experiences. Each time I've had a different server. Two stars because the food is really good SOMETIMES. Each time I go the service is pretty bad.. drinks take a really long time. I understand the bar is full sometimes but it's like this during week days too. They've messed up our food orders too. I'm not fussy so I'll eat as long as it's not something I know I won't like, but that doesn't make it ok. This last time we didn't have anyone come to our table after we were seated for about 25 minutes. Food took another 40 minutes to arrive from the time we ordered. My meal was bland today. I only came back because my friend wanted to go, but I'll try to make it my last time.

First time here....vibe is totally awesome! Love the decor💗they have indoor, outdoor and bar seating available! Tge staff is real chill and attentive, that's not all....the food is bomb!!!! We tried the fried calamari....Yuuum!!! Oh and the jalapeño poppers....Aaaaaamazing, Freaking delish!!! They have craft burgers, I tried the Hot for Teacher(cooked med-well)...it was soooo good juicy and full of flavor! That's not all though, you have to, have to try the "MOONTANG" it's tang (yes I said tang) moonshine😮 so smooth you can't even taste the moonshine...and trust me that's a flavor hard to disguise 😂 they have 35 beers on tap, so many more on bottle oh and mimosas are a thing here....specially on Sundays lol I love the location didn't even feel like we were in the valley 😂 we will definitely be back here👍

Has become one of our favorite places to grab a quick dinner. Always excellent food, and the wait staff is well trained and attentive. Our visit for dinner last Saturday, we picked items off the menu that we'd not tried before. Our food server, Plata, was very helpful and did a great job of giving us details on each item that we asked about. He then continued to give us 5-star restaurant service in a pub. Excellent managers hire excellent people. Good job UDH.

GREAT PLACE FOR BRUNCH! I was recommended the Santa Fe Chicken and it did not disappoint! Beware: it is served with sauces that are a bit on the spicier side. My boyfriend enjoyed the Chicken and Waffles. We ordered the Short Stack of Pancakes to share for only $2. The pancakes are huge and delicious! So fluffy and filling. The mimosas are good; no complaints! (But I am starting to think all restaurants use the same sparkling wine to make them.) Service was good just a tad slow for refills since it was quite busy as I'm sure Sundays are at any place serving brunch.
