Nice place, my waiter was personable and professional, atmosphere is friendly, fun place for a date, family and just to meet after work for drinks. Food and drinks were okay but a little over priced for the quality. Manger who was working this evening looked at me 4 times and didn't bother coming over to say hi or to see if I was enjoying myself, obviously I was a new face but he was more interested in chatting with the FOH ladies but no patrons.

I stopped by for Happy hour. The happy hour menu is available from 3pm to 6pm mon through Fri. But you literally need to sit at the bar and not the bar area. Service was very good. Friendly and quick. The food was ok. Nothing special to be honest but the Happy hour menu did have a good variety of food and drink items. The red sangria was on the strong side for me and could be a tad bit sweeter. I saw the bartender making do many margaritas so maybe I'll try that next time. The best food item for me was the shrimp. It was crispy and crunchy and had a nice kick. The nachos had a good amount of toppings but had no meat. The beef empanada tasted better than the chicken empanada. The chicken meat in the empanada was very stringy. Overall, I would come back again for Happy hour.

Customer service was lacking more than 30 seconds to be greeted by the hosts, poor traffic control at the front door definitely a hazard should an emergency occur. Server was kind and attentive. The appetizer came out hot and moist cooked precisely not overcooked as most party wings tend to be. However, the main course was warm -- absolutely no steam streaming from the plate to indicate hot food. The two drinks 🍸 were tasty and made well. Would have given 5 stars if my food was not warm and on the border of being cold coming out of the kitchen.

Great atmosphere, the food was good that's always big. Kids got chicken quesadillas and chicken fajitas. I ordered the burrito bowl, it was perfect. My wife got a nice salad, she said it was fresh and tasty as well. Super job, thank you!

I had a great experience with the waiter, just not the food. My food came out ICE COLD. The waiter and manager were so nice. My food was replaced quickly and problem solved. That just killed my mood. Also, they couldn't prepare a drink that I love when I go to the Marlboro location. I would go back and give them another try. I couldn't rate it bad because my service was excellent.

The food was very gooood! The drinks were spectacular! We did go during happy hour but you have to remember if you want happy hour you have to sit at the bar which is the only catch. The interior is really nice! Bathroom was clean as well! The staff was super friendly & if I was back in NJ I’d for sure come back here again!

It was my first time here (5/22) and it definitely didn’t disappoint! First, I didn’t know about the flight of frozen margaritas, amazing! Then ordering tacos, I saw I could switch to a lettuce type wrap which made me feel better that I had a choice to be healthier, and I ended up ordering it. The rest of the food was great as well, according to my cousin who had the fajita. By the way, the fajita came out with extras(sour cream, lettuce and guacamole) on another plate and the tortillas in a tortilla container. Thought that was cool. The hostesses were accommodating and very pleasant. Our server was attentive, kind and understanding. The manager made sure to come around and she was very sweet. If I had any issues, it would only be the lettuce for my lettuce taco fell completely apart but I just ate it with a fork, no biggie. It is a little pricey but you go out to eat to have a nice time, drink and eat good food, so it should be expected. Oh, and the music was very on point, in my opinion of course. All around great place!

Tio taco is an amazing Mexican restaurant. Love the ambience as well as music of this place. Our server was really amazing. He gave us plenty of recommendations and suggestions from appetizers to entrees and dessert. I definitely recommend to try Passion fruit margarita. Fish tacos are amazing. They also have virgin Mojito for non alcoholic drinkers. Plenty parking available.

Very very busy on a Friday night but the wait time was exactly what they had told us it would be, so no complaints there. Unfortunately though, we couldn’t make reservations so we did have to wait. Food was okay. I thought it was a bit overpriced considering that it seemed pretty typical. Drinks though were GREAT. Frozen margarita flights were so good that I had to get myself a full one.

Went to Tio's the first time and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the margaritas were on point and the appetizers and main course did not disappoint. Also got the Tres Leches in end for dessert and it was heavenly. Definitely go there for the vibe and all else mentioned above. They have a lot of vegetarian options also. Also the margarita flight is a good one to try and test out the offerings.

The food is really good. They have good options for veg and non-veg. I ordered truffle avocado with corns. Burrito bowl. Quesadillas. I also had their street corn which is a must. I recommend this place.

Definitely will be coming back! Sangria was strong and tasty! I also got a mule with bourbon. Shrimp tacos were good, I don’t usually eat cabbage but in the tacos it was delicious. Veggie cauliflower taco was amazing as well! Appetizer I recommend the shrimp!

Great food and amazing waiter ! Garid (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was amazing. He acknowledged the table was small and immediately moved another over when the table over left. Very attentive. And very personable. Not sure if requesting is a thing but will definitely when we go back The food was very good ! Wings were great! And empanadas were amazing We got an assortment of tacos. All were amazing but carne asada was the favorite , tres leche was great too Margarita had a lot of ice so it was done in two sips (but i feel that’s expected in a restaurant) The only suggestion would be turn down the music it was very loud in there Will definitely be back

One of the best place to have Mexican food. The staff was very helpful with the food options. The taste was good. Though we wanted vegetarian options they too had good veg food. The vibe of this place was good. Loaded nachos is a must try here.

Food 1/5 Service 2/5 Drinks 4/5 I’ve never felt more deceived by reviews before on google than I do now. This place is no better than Chilis or Fridays & I’m afraid to say those places may be better. If you go here pls skip the guac, the nachos especially w pork belly, and the chimichanga. The chimichanga is filled with rice & hardly any protein. The pork belly nachos were dry. I expected melty cheese & the pork tasted old not fresh. The guac is flavorless. I’m so disappointed. I really wanted something close to authentic Mexican & this did not even come close.

My go-to spot for late night bites with friends. Love the beef empanadas & loaded nachos. They are great for sharing and so fulfilling. Recently tried the frozen margarita flight & churros. Both of them were delicious! The servers are always so friendly and helpful when explaining things on the menu.

Absolutely loved this place! Had the spicy Margarita, it was amazing! We also had the special carnitas tacos and they were amazing! Fish tacos were just okay and the fajita was good! Shout out to our waitress Mia for being so amazing and professional!

I have passed by Tio Tequila so many times, and ATLAST I was able to taste the food here.. Conveniently located right on RT 1 , next to Top Golf. There are 2 taverns next to each other - and hence parking could get crazy .. I went in, not-so-peak time, and hence there was no wait time. I liked the interiors and so many tables to sit n dine. To start with, we ordered some drinks and Guacamole/Chips. Guac was good.. Chips had lemon chilly powder, and was a bit tangy. We then had Rice bowl with beans and it was ok… Too much cheese on the sides.. we liked the bean with Rice. Veggie enchiladas was not good.. TOOOOOO CHEESY.. it was almost like a cheese pizza…. Couldn’t eat more than 1/2 pieces.. Portions of food was huge, and 2 people can possibly share one dish.. Price was a little more than few other restaurants. I wish there was less cheese in all dishes.. I liked margarita restaurant better since they had less cheese. Overall an average experience. Positives - Ambience and location. Good bar. Negatives - Food was Toooo Cheesy and a little expensive.

Our waitress Mia was very attentive and just overall so friendly and kind. She made our experience eating at this restaurant super, she basically read our mind when suggesting what me and my sister should order from the menú, and despite being busy she never made us feel unattended. The food and drinks were 10 out of 10!! Couldn't recommend this place enough

Delicious food and friendly staff. Make sure to try the Short Rib Birria Quesadilla, the sauce is flavorful and the quesadilla has the perfect amount of cheese. Leave room for dessert because the Rum Banana Chimichanga is to die for. Cocktails were not my favorite, but tequila choices are great and the food definitely makes up for the cocktails. It seems to get busier after 8pm so come earlier if you want to be seated quick.

Large establishment with nice decor and generous portions. Food was good as was the service. Drinks were quite potent. Plenty of free parking.

Considering how busy the lot for TIO I really had higher expectations having the experience of trying other Mexican foods that are arguably better but there's a charm that TIO offers that I haven't found anywhere else that's only accompanied with the modern take on some flavors and classic dishes. Went for a dinner date with my husband to celebrate my 33rd. The food was fresh, phenomenal and well presented. The drinks were on point! We spent an average of 1.5hrs dining on a Friday evening around 8pm. We showed up with no reservations and got lucky! Would definitely go back in the future. Near other attractions!

Food is pretty good here NGL to and the portion are relatively large. However there is two small caveots. The service was only okay it took a few to get out waiter additional the prices were pretty extreme with guacamole being 12 dollars. Like sir what is this grac made of??? Golden avocados?? That being said tho the food was delicious and the drinks seemed pretty creative and if you are a tequila guy/girl you will love it here.

This place hasn't own vibe. It's definitely different from all of the other Mexican restaurants. I'd refer to it as upscale Mexican food and drinks with an upbeat vide. Good place to chill anytime day or night. The service was good and the food decent, definitely lower the heat on the Guacamole because it was too spicy for my liking. However, overall good place and I'll definitely going back to try some of the other dishes. $$$

We went with a party of ten people to celebrate mom's birthday. Sunday evening and the wait time was about 20 minutes. The menu has quite a few items and everyone was pleased with their meal. We also had appetizers. Everything was really delicious! And the portions were ample, we all brought something home. The shrimp fajitas are excellent. Our server was fantastic, her name was Madison and she was cheerful and took good care of us. All in all very nice. We sat across from the bar so it was a little loud for my old ears but that's my only complaint.
