I
checked
in
this
afternoon
with
my
wife
and
two
friends,
two
rooms
between
us.
Our
friend's
room
had
hair
on
the
sheets
and
in
the
tub,
my
room
smells
like
mold
with
stains
in
the
toilet.
I
contacted
the
front
desk
first
about
my
friend's
room
(102)
to
change
the
sheets
and
give
them
towels.
When
I
go
to
my
room,
the
smell
hits
all
four
of
us
like
a
train.
Empty
water
bottle
on
the
floor,
literal
brown
goo
under
the
toilet
seat.
We
contact
the
front
again,
this
time
an
employee
comes
to
the
room.
She
tells
all
four
of
us
to
our
face
that
she
doesn't
smell
anything,
and
that
she
would
know
because
she
had
lived
in
a
basement.
Adding
to
it
that
all
she
could
smell
was
bleach
and
that
she's
seen
bathrooms
much
worse
than
ours.
The
solution
offered
was
to
switch
our
rooms,
my
wife
went
to
see
the
new
room
and
it
also
smelled
funky.
The
next
solution
was
to
have
us
check
out
and
only
pay
for
the
day.
We're
in
town
for
a
convention
and
we
made
these
reservations
months
in
advance
because
there's
a
giant
convention
in
town.
We
don't
have
any
real
choice
but
to
stay.
My
wife
is
on
her
way
to
the
front
again
to
ask
for
someone
to
come
and
clean
the
room.
I
haven't
yet
spoken
to
Jenny
the
hotel
manager,
but
I
will
as
soon
as
I
can
get
the
front
desk
to
actually
give
me
the
information.
