    I actually liked the food here . We normally order rice bowl veggie... kids love this . They follow covid norms and do only to-go .. you cannot sit inside the restaurant and eat . We also love the chips / tacos and guacs.. parking is crowded on weekends but you should get it somewhere within the mall. Lots of parking spots available. There are also other restaurants available in the food court ... overall a good experience ... service times can be better ... very sloowwwwwww service ..

    I don't even know where to start.... DIRTY, mess everywhere, piles of dirty and empty pans on the counter, employees are wearing masks under their chins but what is more important they are serving food without any respect for customers. They are throwing food into the bowls with total disgust look on their faces. No personal hygiene, loose hair, talking and joking with each other while customers are waiting to be served. Who is managing this place???!!! The above situation took place on 9/28/21 pm shift.

    One of the absolute worst Chipotle locations in the area. The service, food portion and quality was horrific. Management should be ashamed of how this location is running. Entered this location at 12 PM on a Tuesday. Understandably a busy hour of the day. This location was out of black beans. Refused to make My girlfriend a Quesadilla because apparently the team members only have the ability to do their job correctly if the order is placed online. So they somehow are unable to make a quesadilla when a paying customer orders one in person which is absurd and not customer oriented service. They to top it off the portion size of my burrito was about the size of a baseball, pictures don't do it justice. The staff said everything was measured correctly and I have to order more stuff and pay extra to get a normal sized burrito. Then the cashier informs us that the soda machine isn't working. So now I have to go to another restaurant to just purchase a beverage. I don't understand how this is acceptable by any means of food service or customer service. This location needs someone from corporate to invest some time in to overhaul the management and team members, the culture and overall experience for the customer isn't worth the time or money. This will be the last time I choose to spend my money here and believe me I will be informing friends and family about this experience and service i received.

    This location desperately needs new management or even better an overhaul from top to bottom. The staff is very slow no matter what time or the day you visit. They always have really long waiting times. Understand that it is inside a food court and it gets busy but I have been to many busier locations than this and the service was much faster. The employee at the register was taking his own sweet time to ring the purchase and there were literally 5 people waiting to pay for the food after their food was ready. They were out of napkins, tables were really dirty and nobody cared to clean them. The only positive aspect of this location is it is inside a mall and attached to the food court.

    They always out of food, doesn’t matter lunch or dinner time. I feel don’t charge us full price if the food we ordered is not there. I ordered veggie bowel, no veggies, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa, corn. What am I paying $10 for, rice and beans. I mostly do online orders, and also feel they should let us know like Panera does, we out of this food, so we know what exactly we getting if we decide to go through with the order. I have a busy schedule, i usually skip lunch and eat early dinner. I order online and just want to grab my food and go home and eat. Imagine you mad hungry and go home and see this is what you get for food. I wish they would let you know if they don’t have enough food, I’ll order from somewhere else. My last time ordering from this place.

    Ordered through DoorDash and they completely messed up the entire order. Only put rice and beans and nothing else. Not to mention the plate not being closed completely. Never ordering from here again.

    This Chipotle is inside food court of Menlo Park Mall, so it’s easy if you need to have some Mexican food while shopping. Ordering through Chipotle App and picking up is much easier. Not crowded. Even not in a mood to shop and just want to pick up, it’s very closer to upper level parking. You need to drive up to upper level parking, park near store and pick up. I had good experience so far.

    RUDE and SMALL portion sizes! When I went there, there was about 6 people working and a very long line of people waiting to order. There was only one person actually taking the orders. The rest of the workers were not doing anything and some of them even had the audacity to keep swiping on their phone while there was a line clearly in front of them. A very long line too. There was an older man with glasses taking the orders and was being very slow in which no other employee tried to help. I was waiting in line for almost 15 minutes though I was the 3rd person who ordered. It usually takes me less than 5 minutes to order from other Chipotles. They did not tell people it was debit or exact change until they took your order which was misleading! The workers had a lot of attitude and were rude. They also gave half the portions they would usually give out. For instance one of the employees gave me just a little scoop of sour cream and I then proceeded to ask for more in which they gave but gave me a rude look when I asked for a little more. The workers here need improvement. I do not know who runs this shop but clearly there needs to be change on how fast the lines move, the employees, their attitudes towards the customers, portion sizes, and overall service in general. I will not be coming back to this place again due to the poor customer service and portion sizes. A clear 1/10.

    I order through uber eats frequently. That means Im usually paying $16 for what I would pay $12 for in person. That being said, this location always skimps ingredients. I ordered carne asada tacos with cheese, lettuce, fajita veggies, green salsa, and mild salsa. This is what I got. theres only four tiny pieces of meat when carne asada cost me close to $4 extra than if I were to get chicken. There’s one or two tiny pieces of pepper which is supposed to be the “fajita veggies.” Cmon now.. If Im paying the same price for 3 tacos as I would for a bowl, I should receive more food. And either way, the amount of protein they gave me when it cost extra is ridiculous. Theyve done this previous time I’ve ordered as well. I dont recommend this location.

    I came in here today to pick up a third party order. On the door it clearly says it opens at 1045. I proceeded to the doors, both were locked. As I knock on the door I can see people inside and a young lady instantly became irritated. She comes to the door with an attitude and proceeds to tell me they r closed when again the hours are right in front of me. I asked her why they would be closed at 1115 am on a Monday, she states they’re running late. Now I wouldn’t have been so irritated about this if that same young lady had a bit of compassion. They are running late not me. It was extremely unprofessional and rude. If you don’t like to give your customers great customer service you shouldn’t work in the food/retail industry.

    Horrible Chipotle! Last night there were four employees just standing around behind the counter and one woman working the entire assembly line. She has a horrible attitude and twice tried to take people behind me before I was done ordering rolling her eyes every time I said I wasn't done. By the time I finally got all the way down the line it took 15 minutes and my food was freezing cold. When I finally got to the register the employee took five more customers behind me making me wait there. Finally, I asked two different employees to help me check out and finally once of the ones just standing around came over. Not to mention soda machine was broken and they were out of rice and veggies before 7pm. Never again!

    Though this is consistently the worse Chipotle I go to, my experience today was out of the world bad. Employees off the clock cutting the line multiple times to get free food, no rice made, with my simple singular burrito order taking more than 15 minutes with 2 customers in front of me. More attention was being given to the off duty employees horsing around than any guests.

    All employees must be retrained by management. Toppings and proteins are always served in small portions with every takeout order. Sometimes the rice was undercooked and rock hard. Something was always missing from the order. There will be no straws served here. Utensils are never placed inside the bag by employees. Chipotle should investigate this location as soon as possible.

    I had the worst experience with this particular franchise. I went in person and ordered a veg bowl. They refused to give veggies and Guacamole even though they had it. They were giving those only for online orders. We asked and they said they cannot give. I guess this franchise is trying to fool people who come in person and make more profits as online order come though chiportley website and inperson orders are not audited/reported. How can this even be allowed by a company like Chiportley ? Then why are they charging the full amount ? The chiportley corporate must make an effort to audit there kind of franchise who are trying to fool customers and make more profits. They must take strict action. The customer service these days have been worse across many of franchise and the chiportley corporate must do regular audits to maintain the standards.

    I used to love Chipotle but for the past year or so their service is beyond horrible. Online orders are either missing or incorrect. The employees have attitude when approached about about it. Today I ordered a bowl with white rice , pinto beans, chicken, mild tomato, corn and cheese. I got brown rice, black beans, sour cream and spicy salsa. Definitely today was my last time ordering chipotle.

    I came in and two of the workers at the grille were bickering with each other... great start. I ask for a carnitas bowl and the worker at the counter accidentally put in steak. I corrected her, and she started to pick up the meat with her hands and put it back in the serving container... Never even offered to make a new bowl or apologize. Yes she was wearing gloves but that is still not food safe. Disgusting.

    Genuinely terrible service, this location specifically is in dire need of a staff change. The place is filthy and cramped. I order online and I have to spend more than half of my lunch break to get my food and only get around 5 minutes to eat small portions. I paid 20$ for an order and got 1 of 4 items I purchased. Their system is always down or having issues with communication through the chipotle app. I had a worker take a picture of my order on her phone and she still got most of the order completely wrong and forgot my drink, chips, and dip. So I was basically robbed of around 9 dollars. It's a shame because the food is really good too. Terrible terrible place to go if you're on limited time.

    The servers move at a snail's pace. Yesterday I was there with my kids to get food. There was one person ahead of me waiting to be served and two people ahead of this person who were already being served. We waited a half hour before it was our turn to be served, then another ten minutes while being served and then another five minutes at the cash register. The whole time spent was 45 minutes. Also, the manager doesn't know how to void or cancel credit card transactions neither.

    I used to come here all the time, but recently, my trip to chipotle at Menlo could not have been worse. The place was understaffed, steak was burnt ( they kept steaks at 2 minutes on each side) and it was totally burnt. Total, there were 4-5 people in line, and they served us for 15 mins. I recommend adding staff to help other employees

    One of the awfully managed chipotle I've ever been too. It's always short of staff. I am disappointed every time I visit this place reason being they're always short of one or the other ingredients which makes the burrito bowl delicious. I am a vegetarian and I prefer to have all ingredients on my bowl. Many times I have return as they're short of fajitas or beans. It's mismanaged place, I would suggest the management to take action and hire more employees. Furthermore, improve on the quality of the food as well.

    The workers are straight bozos. On a busy Saturday IN A MALL, you have one person on the table building the orders. One on the entire table with no help. He can only take one customer at a time. I get that they shouldn’t get blamed personally but you also don’t have to work super slow with a lack of care. I mean each customer took him 5 min. My break was over by the time I got served. Staff up and use resources effectively. It’s sad that the table guy is like a turtle while the girl preparing meat is running around.

    Friendly and respectful service. Great portions. I really appreciate that the employee put a piece of aluminum foil under my bowls so they don’t get dirty as they slide them down the food bar.

    Portion size is really small. You have to ask them to add extra rice or beans. Don't know why the staff can't put little extra stuff. It's not like anything coming out of their pocket. Quality of the food is good. But they definately need to increase their portions. There was no one to clean the tables. Seems like they were sort staffed.

    The cashier was very nice and the food was good. The set up to get your food is a little confusing and took very long, but I guess that's what you get in order to customize everything. I wish they were ready to help you out if you're new or if you have a big family, as I do. For intsance, at subway they ask you, what kind of bread would you like, what would you like on it, etc. They should engage the customers, especially when they see that they're new and don't know what to order. They should also be ready to give advice, letting us know what is spicy and what is not. Also they forgot one of our orders, but we were at the food court so we were able to easily get it.

    Visited Chiptole in Metuchen Shopping Center. I was very upset that they do not give change back if you pay with cash. So, if your bill is 18.25 and i give them a $20, u will not get change back!!😡 I got charged for Chips and Guac which i did NOT order. I didn't see it on my receipt til a couple of days later. My friend and I waited in line for awhile while employees were standing around talking and rapping to the music, while only one person was working. Customers did not seem important to them. Also, the music was inappropriate for a business setting. I love Rap, but not when it is belittling woman and has profane language!! Will not be going back!! This 8s a pic of our order. Not chips and Guac, just 2 bowls.🤷‍♀️

    I ordered 3 burrito bowls, two of which were fine which is why I gave an extra star. However one bowl wasn’t even filled 1/2 way. The food In that bowl was no where near worth what I paid for it. Very disappointed.
