😠 If this wasn’t one of the few - if not only- offices that accepted my insurance, I would never have come here. I always feel that they only do 90% of the work to ensure that you always come back. My teeth always hurt despite the work they do, or it’s like a filling never stays in place. If you need... I do not recommend AT ALL. Had the worst experience during my first visit. First of all they throw you into a room and don’t explain what they are doing… I expressed to the technician multiple times that I was sensitive & was uncomfortable during the x ray process and she disregarded my feelings and asked me rudely to be patient & work with her. She was really rough with the x ray equipment and stabbed my gums multiple times. She was rough, insensitive, & inpatient with me. I ended up refusing the remaining x rays and walked out and didn’t even see the dentist because I was uncomfortable. This place is nasty looking and they apparently have old school equipment & rude technicians. They are very insensitive to patients who have anxiety about the dentist.

Dr. Shah is extremely rude, condescending, and sarcastic, thinks she’s above you and doesn’t listen to her patients. As a female doctor of color, I was extremely surprised. She called my 11 year old son lazy, a liar, and asked him if she should use Simple English. She then tried to get me to leave the room by telling me to sit behind a wall on a stool so that she can continue to verbally abuse him. She’s not fit to service Black and brown people, children, or females. She’s disrespectful, told me she was ‘helping’ my son, and told me he’s her patient not me and I shouldn’t be responding to her when she’s speaking to him about his oral care. WTH??!! No wonder the office is empty!! I took my son, my insurance, and our dignity elsewhere, respectfully.

Updated review: Again, here I am 10 months later complaining. This office has gone downhill ever since Dr. Sharma has been MIA. I have had like 3 other doctors work on my teeth within the last 10 months and every time I go back, it's a new doctor. This place is a joke, I went today for my appointment and they said the new doctor "hasn't started" so I am on a list to be rescheduled. Like what? I don't want a new doctor to touch my teeth,. Ridiculous and unprofessional, shut the place down. Unprofessional. I had an appointment today and nobody called me and cancelled. The doctor is never there, it’s impossible to get an appointment and I am done with this dentist. shut the place down

Update: I was reached out by the office next day. They apparently didn't get the calls from call center. My wife was provided earliest appointment and required procedures were performed. Doctors are professional and knowledgeable. I hope they resolve communication issues with Call center and allow calls to reach the office directly. Extremely hard to communicate with the office. This is not the first time this has happened to me. The calls are always forwarded to call center. The call center representatives say they send email with high importance, yet no response from the office. My wife had a crown fit on her which hurt her. I called the office, again call gets forwarded to call center and same story. My wife is a nursing mother and is on pain killers. Horrible experience.

Not friendly at all..For them money is first, as we took our little girl as we found them to be NET work Hospital of Arena and the Doctor name listed was Dr. Lee, Sol H., DMD. But when we went it was someone else...Anyways that doctor did a good Job as we went for annual check up..they asked to come today for list of patient treatment. They said we will call back in 4 days to inform what ae the charges that may incur, but they never called as of today...So we called their number and it goes to a call center in India..and these guys have no clues on the appointment or what's happening in this hospital, When we went into and they started the treatment, that is when another Indian guy comes to explain that I have to pay the money upfront. They are a net work hospital and they were supposed to Bill my insurance and the charges left were supposed to be billed to me. But they insisted that we pay upfront. They did not even disclose what the charges were because I am supposed to pay only 20% of what the charges that arena approves. I came back and called and complained the insurance provider and they told me that I don't have to pay, Until the insurance tell me what I have to pay. Now they are asking to come back again next week so that they swipe more money. I know for sure...these are not honest guys. My insurance said that its my right to upfront or not. Don't go there ...the patient waiting area which is the reception is the worst.

Small outdated place, have to take elevator or stairs to the second floor. Staff and dentists are friendly and professional.

If I could leave negative reviews I would ; this place is a chop shop they’ll tell you you paid something off then mail you 4 letters saying you owe over 1700 after telling you in your face that everything is paid for and covered. And they have NO COMMUNICATION until they need money , then they’ll send 100 letters without answering their phone ( which is connected to a telephone service in ohio). Place is a legit joke. They never give you what you want, they suggest the more expensive choice to make sure they can screw you down the line. Please stay away , endure the pain of a tooth rather than ur wallet with this joke of an office.

First off I was referred to this dentist. I had to wait over a month for an appointment, I need a root canal which requires a pre authorization from my insurance to even perform the procedure. It’s been several weeks of toothache and misery . According to my insurance they never received an authorization request. If your in immediate unbearable pain DONT go here. But if not then they did provide me with a great gentle teeth cleaning .

I highly recommend American Unity Dental. I had a fear of dentist for quite sometime. After having my first cleaning and x-rays done with Dr Mona six months ago. I would never ever want to have to go to another dentist. I had my upper right wisdom tooth pulled today and she was so gentle and caring and very patient with me. The dental assistants are just as kind, gentle and caring as the Dr herself. Front desk is very efficient and professional. They are very welcoming and makes you feel at ease all the time.

Had a great experience all 3 times I visited. Today, I had to bring my 2-year-old with me. They were all understanding and patient. The dentist and the cleaning were excellent. He was very knowledgeable, identified the issues quickly, and effectively communicated them to me. The dental assistant was also very kind. Great service overall. Thank you guys

Dr. Niranjan Savani implanted a post in my lower jaw with great skill and minimal pain to me. The procedure was done in 30 minutes and he clearly explained the following steps to complete my molar replacement. On the basis of this first visit I recommend him highly.

If this wasn’t one of the few - if not only- offices that accepted my insurance, I would never have come here. I always feel that they only do 90% of the work to ensure that you always come back. My teeth always hurt despite the work they do, or it’s like a filling never stays in place. If you need a root canal- my best wishes to you because you’ll SUFFER. They also have a terrible phone system. They don’t answer their phone, it only gets serviced out. So I was left locked outside of their office for an emergency 830am appointment. Even their call center was embarrassed because they had no idea what to do. When the ASSISTANTS finally arrived there was no apology or anything. Would never recommend this place, and it’s a shame because the receptionists that do actually work are lovely people.

Bad follow up and terrible communication. You cannot get to talk to anyone in the office, instead, your call gets forwarded to a call center, no matter what time of the day! They keep changing doctors and their appointments are very limited. They did not follow up with my crown approval, so it took them MONTHS to get it, in which time the gum grew and their doctor told me it has to be cut before the crown is made. Also, during my last visit, their "new" doctor put a filling. I have had fillings before, and usually it takes just a couple of adjustments to get the height right. This time, it took her FOREVER, and finally she tried to 'chip' the upper tooth rather than get the filling the right height! I stopped her, then started looking for another dentist. Save your time (and your teeth) and go somewhere else.

Had my first appointment today at Edison NJ office. Everyone, including Doctor Irina, Assistant Marie and Receptionist Jay, were friendly, courteous and informative. The place is clean and well organized. I would recommend my Friends and Family members to plan their dental treatments, here.

I’ve been going to this dentist office for a year now and the ladies are always so nice and make you feel very comfortable. My last dentist retired but my new dentist is just as knowledgeable if not even more helpful, and I felt comfortable getting a consult with her. They are clean, organized and very polite. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
