2 stories, very large location featuring a Cafe , children's section and quiet places to read in large comfortable chairs. They had a smaller selection of business resources compared to other locations.

Stopped in at this location over the weekend. Store was clean, well stocked, very busy. However, the shelves desperately need attention. In every section I was browsing, I was unable to find anything I was looking for because, despite being in the correct sections, none of the books were in any sort of order. Usually they are on the shelves alphabetized either by title or author, but none of them were. There were two other customers near me looking for something and said that the CS rep told them to look under M, but since M could have been anywhere, they couldn't find the book they needed either.

Went back for nostalgia more than anything else. How can I justify paying $32 (after taxes) for the new 98 yankees book when you can get it online for $22? Nobody likes to leave the store feeling foolish. What's even worse, though ... is the complete disregard for simple customer service. The dark haired girl that got me at checkout couldn't be bothered to look away from her cellphone while she was ringing me up. I hate that. And of course, no "thank you" or any type of simple civility on my way out. I thanked her, though I doubt she noticed. Her attention was immediately back to her cellphone before I even began to walk away. Seriously, these stores are not only obsolete, they're also totally void of any concern for the few dopes that still shop there. I give up on feeling bad for them. Good riddance, I say.

I love comming to B&N, classic location to get books, writting supplies, cds, vinals (vynals? Cant spell lol), or even basic elementrary learning supplies. I mostly am in the Manga, Manhwa, Doughua section of the store. And I am super glad that they finally added in the Manhwa section. Was able to find novels like Tian Guan Ci Fu, Mo Dao Zu Shi, Scum Villan & much more. Lets just say.. I bought a lot of books from here very often. The place is clean and the best time to come is for sure the early mornings! Whom ever was the morning cashier/front area on April 4th at 9am. I LOVE your positive energy! Makes me feel like I wanna come back and buy more.

Big bookstore with a pretty good selection of books, music, and even some disc media like movies and shows, although it looked like the latter was in the process of being phased out. This store has its own dedicated bathroom, which is pretty A+ . The upper floor, which I didn't visit until recently, houses the philosophy, classic literature, and general fiction sections, most of interest to myself. There is also a long bank of huge windows that one can look out of, affording a nice view of the surrounding area of the Menlo Park Mall. It is a quite nice bookstore.

Still love to shop old school instead of online. Bad thing is that there's not alot of help so waited a good while for someone to help look for a book for my daughter and when we got her attention she seemed bothered. Overall the store is good but maybe some more employees with better attitudes

This is my favorite Barnes & Noble. Very comfortable space. Lots of great book selections. The line moves fast and overall great customer service. The Starbucks in the store is added bonus, very nice staff.

The baristas at the Starbucks were very kind and helpful. I came close to closing time and they still provided excellent service. I enjoyed the chestnut praline.

Shout out to the avid reader behind the counter. She was super sweet, pleasant, and patient. Loved her tattoos, especially the Poisodan one with the trident!!! On a side note: it's really hard finding books if you're looking for specific titles and authors. Maybe I'm just out of practice, but I wish there was an interactive map that you could search for a title or author, and it would get you to at least the right department, bookcase, and maybe even shelf??? I'm just throwing it out there!!!📜📚📓📗📖📚📖🔖

The kid that rung us up at the Starbucks was really cool, and very patient. The guy that rung up my fiance was pretty cool, too. I made a Terminator reference and he immediately got it. I like this location so much.

This is a good bookstore with a Starbucks at the bottom so you can read or study and relax. Child friendly I bring my two kids under 5 here to pick out new books. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable when asked questions.

One of the best Barnes and Noble. I more biased towards this store because I’ve been shopping here since I was born, the staff is amazing, the books are beautiful. It’s one of the best places to visit for book lovers. Also please be kind to the staff they are wonderful and work their hardest to make our experiences there better

Great store with a easy layout. The employees are always friendly and helpful if needed. I can usually find the book I’m looking for and if not they will order it for you. I miss bookstores in general so I’m very happy that Barnes and Noble is at this location and still selling actual books, please keep it up 👍😀

I LOVE the Starbucks and the variety it offers for hot tea. I like how they have the Harney and Sons metal box container on display that the customer can take home. The staff are very cordial. I love coming here with dates, family, friends.

All the outlets are now capped so you can't plug anything in. I found one and sat there with my phone charging and a guy was quick to tell me I can't. He definitely coulda been kinder but I get it - book stores are going down globally so they gotta cut costs anyway they can. Pretty smart if you ask me. But you didn't ask me, did you. No, you didn't. Because you only think about yourself. You selfish jerk. I want a divorce.

B&N has few desks ans chairs now post-pandemic so staying extended hours there is very difficult. They also have eliminated many power outlets throughout store to discourage lingering around. Staying in the cafe area is equally hard due to high demand and competition for space. Overall, not a good experience. It's a matter of time until B&N goes the way of Borders.

I love this store great store great selections on books the staff is always nice and helpful great location it's next to the cheesecake factory how cool is that. It is a great book store always nice and clean. I always enjoy going there when I am in the area. Plenty of parking. One of the best book stores buy your books there and skip Amazon.

Having a Starbucks inside is an added bonus, especially as they have Cheesecake factory goodies too. Was served by amazing staff who, when I drink was taken by someone else replaced it with a better one, without hesitation

The workers there are very nice and extremely helpful. Me and my sister went shopping there and one of the workers helped her find Madoka Magica. He even knew about the timelines and which one he recommended. And the cashier was a treat to talk to about Chainsaw Man and Beastars! Would definitely come back to shop again when we drop by Menlo!

This Barnes & Nobles has a more cozy feeing then the other locations here in Jersey. The best part is that you have more room for places to sit and feel cozy to read or do work. Other locations are just one floor and doesn’t have the feeling like you want to stay but this location does have that feel.

I love this Barnes & Noble location. Customer service is great. Even if there is a line, the line moves quickly. The books displayed are great choices, I always end up buying more than I planned to. Very spacious too, and I love that we can sit and have coffee while reading our new purchases.

I had a terrible experience at the Barnes & Nobles cafe yesterday. I nicely asked the barista to remake a drink for me and my boyfriend bc one was made with whole milk instead of oat milk and I wasn’t fond of the other drink. I hate to ask a barista to remake a drink because I understand how it can be annoying but I didn’t want to waste $ on a drink I really didn’t like. however after asking her in a very kind & lighthearted manner she had the most disgusting attitude I’ve ever witnessed from any employee. She screamed “ well what do you want then” and slammed my drink on the counter after making it. When I asked for her name she yelled “don’t worry about it, you can leave” after asking for a manager NO ONE at the cafe knew who the manager was and refused to give the name of the young Asian women who was being blatantly rude and disrespectful.
