Free queso and home made tortillas, a delicious duo. Friendly staff and out waitress promptly refilled chips and drinks. The chimichanga was delicious. The chicken is better than the pork. Green Verde sauce is good.

Tried Teds today. The carne asada fries were pretty good. Service was good. As someone who has eaten at many restaurants in this category, I felt like the prices were a bit high in comparison. Overall it was a good experience. I hope to come back and try the stuffed avocado.

The people here are so nice and friendly. As soon as you walk in you feel very welcomed. The restaurant and the restrooms were really clean. Food was delicious and got lots on the portion. Loved the salsa! And fresh tortillas. Will be back when in the area.

Current Update 11/1/22: I've been supporting Ted's since there was only one location at 58th and May. It has always been our go-to when we decide we want Mexican food. Usually, we get warm, friendly service and the food is delicious. They've always offered a generous portion and a fair price. Well folks, times are changing. Not only are they starting to fail with the new menu items they've been bragging about in their email marketing, but their staff and managers are becoming rude! When you no longer care about talking to the customers who have helped make you a success, your business will start to suffer. We received an email from Ted's with this attention grabber: "Big things are happening at Ted's Café Escondido! We can't share anything quite yet, but we promise it'll be worth the wait." The email goes on to explain that new menu items are coming Oct. 31, 2022. Naturally we were excited so we went to our usual Ted's on Danforth in Edmond on the evening of the 31st. One of the new items is the Fried Fish Tacos with cream slaw. I'd never tried their grilled fish tacos because I prefer fried so I ordered them. When they arrived the portion was laughably small. It almost looked like a kids meal. There were two large tortillas and each tortilla had a little, tiny piece of fried fish that I bet didn't weigh 2 ounces. The fish was so small on the first one I ate I only got a couple bites of fish. I asked the server if this was the normal size portion. I thought maybe they had made a mistake preparing my plate. She left to ask the manager and then came back and said "Yep, that's the correct portion size, that's just the way it is.". I was interested in hearing the managers reasoning for offering new menu items and making the portions so ridiculously small. I asked if the manager could come by and talk to us. She said "No, he doesn't think there's anything else that needs to be said." That's when you cross the line with me. If you are going to be rude, and not take the time to talk to a long time customer with a concern you can forget about getting anymore visits from us. The manager and the server should be ashamed of this type of behavior. We won't be returning. I'm attaching a picture of one of these fish tacos and you can decide for yourself if you think it's a fair sized portion for a $15 meal. Original review: Good service, decent food for the price. Have always been treated well here. Warm and friendly staff. Original Update: We have been going here often. The service we get when we sit at the bar is just the best. The food is always fresh and delicious. I am impressed the managers jump in and help out when they get really busy. I continue to be impressed with how smooth this operation runs. Definitely one of our favorite places to go in Edmond. Not a single bad experience and we go here often.

A friend of mine and I were in Edmond today and asked a local gal about where is the best Mexican food in town? She instantly said “Teds” and added “it’s the only place we go!”... so we drove over and found this place to be warm and inviting and festive in color and employees. We were sat immediately by the window and were welcomed by “Sarah” from Riverside, California. She was friendly and pretty and treated us like we were super stars. The portions are very large! Delicious warm tortillas served with salsas and queso and chips! Drinks were never empty! She explained menu items thoroughly and patiently and it’s definitely some of the best service I have ever had in Oklahoma. It is worth the drive to Edmond to be treated with respect like you are a human being.m when you are spending hard earned money. Thank you to Sarah and Teds for a delicious meal and I definitely will be back! Bring your appetite! See attached photos of the sheet pan nachos. The name says it all!!!

Came in on a Sunday evening 40ish minutes before closing and was promptly seated but then waited over 20 minutes before just leaving. The only reason we waited that long was because we had another person joining us for dinner. Chips and salsa were delivered not long after we got sat. Tables around us got their food, drinks and checks while the employees continued to just walk by and not greet us. Won’t be going back to that location.

Good food, reasonable prices, had to wait 45 mins for a table on a week night, need to hire more servers so the food gets to table faster, it’s a little noisy hard to have conversations at your table. I do like the electronic pay devices at the tables because multiple parties at a table can actually pay for there own meals easily without the server having to break down tickets separately. Restaurant was clean & smelled clean & so were the bathrooms. Love the fresh prepared flour tortillas.

Average taste, all the food tastes the same. Nice, enjoyable atmosphere. Service was OK, just average. Good for an average daily luncheon meal. A little expensive for just a regular lunch. All Ted's restaurants are "living on their old reputation".

My husband and I have always enjoyed eating at Ted's. However, the last few times we've gone we we're as pleased. Our waiter wasn't very friendly. Also, I requested soft corn tortillas. When he returned to our table to refill our drinks, he said he would have the tortillas brought out soon. Unfortunately, we never got them. My shrimp tacos were tasty though.

I have not been to this one in years, and in the past it was good. So was Norman location. However, it has really gone downhill. Fajitas were about the only thing that were good. One person did not like the flavor of his tacos nor did I like mine. Another got quesadilla that seemed like it was microwaved out of freezer rather than made on grill. It was soggy and floppy rather than crisp or even firm. Waitress appeared overworked. And, they put 5 of us at a small table for 4. For the price of the food ($84 for 5 people drinking water), I expected more. Hopefully they had a bad day or new cook. Would not recommend. Tortillas and queso were good.

The tortillas are the whole reason I like to eat here. They are amazing! I wasn't a fan of my main meal, but that was fault, I tried something new, and I know better than to deviate from the things I like. Usually, my waiter/waitress is satisfactory. This day, we had Cassandra, and she was phenomenal!! We had a group of 8, and our glasses stayed full. She replaced tortillas, salsa, cheese, and chips the minute they were empty, and she was very attentive. She was the best waitress I have had in a long while. I would have given her 10 stars if that were an option.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience! From the very beginning - we didn’t have to wait to be seated, the atmosphere was festive, our server was excellent, drinks were always full, the food was delicious! Loved the fresh soft tortillas! I didn’t order the lighter portion of tamales because I wanted to enjoy them the next day for lunch - they were delicious then too! If you would like to make an improvement, I would encourage the hostess at the podium to be a little more attentive to customers, she was very focused on seating and barely looked up and never smiled. Otherwise we loved spending time here and will definitely return.

Have eaten at Teds many times. It seems to be getting worse. Ordered a $14 nachos. We got … literally about 5 chips, sprinkling of meat and cheese. We said something to the waiter…. He seemed to think that was normal. We were 😳 We may not go back. Plenty of other places to try out.

Food bargain is awesome here. You get all the free tortillas, chips, beans and even sopapillas for desert as long as you buy an entree. We were stuffed! It’s a Tex max kind of place (not super authentic). Service is almost overly attentive for my liking but was good.

It's been 5 years since we moved away from Oklahoma, and this was a must stop during our visit. This particular restaurant was wonderful with an amazing staff! They made us feel so welcomed. The food was so delicious...please open a restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA.!

My best friend and I went on Friday. We had the best time!! They were really busy but we didn't wait long. The drinks were perfect and our server was awesome! We had sheet pan nachos and fajitas. It was delicious! Highly recommend!

Good food and great salsa and Queso. Wait staff was slow even when it was relatively slow Tuesday.

Ted's is always packed so be willing to wait unless you're a small party of two that can sit at the high tops at the bar. My shrimp tacos were okay but my Sangria Swirl was so good! I really love their fresh tortillas and atomic salsa.

Great Mexican food. Homemade tortillas. Wide selection of drinks. Clean, and well maintained. Customer service was exceptional.

Ted's is a favorite of ours. Usually, we stay around the Tulsa area, but today we visited the Edmond location, and I have to say, it was by far the best experience ever! They were very busy, and yet we didn't even have to wait as long as we expected. Everything was exceptional, from the complimentary items (the tortillas at this location were beyond amazing), to our server, Sarah, who was kind and attentive, never letting our drinks get below half full and always ready with another bowl of salsa. If you're in the area, make sure and stop by! We may even find ourselves making a special trip- it's definitely worth it!!

Ted’s consistently provides great food with amazing service at a competitive price! We ordered the party pack fajitas for 5 and it was an impressive amount of fajitas with all the fixings! And it was all delicious. I had placed the order on line for carry out. Our order was ready on time and when we unpackaged everything at home, it was all there just as we had ordered it!

We like Ted’s and go at least twice a month. They never disappoint, until tonight. The host watched the older lady with a cane limp slowly to the podium, then hurriedly walked past several empty tables. At one point we lost track of her until we caught up at the table farthest away, in a dark corner in front of a service cart. So we were constantly interrupted by servers squeezing in for silverware and other supplies. Drink order was wrong and had to be redone. Dinner was delivered with the wrong side. I asked for extra onion, got no onion, and the chili con carne, usually thick and meaty, was thin with very little meat. Rice was cold. Any of these things alone wouldn’t have been a big deal, but in the aggregate made for a poor dining experience. I left still hungry. Every mule gets one free kick. This is meant as constructive criticism, not just a complaint. I hope they return to their usual good service and good food next visit.

I’m normally not disappointed in TEDs but today I def am this is my $20 shrimp fajitas 🤨. 11 pieces of shrimp for $20.

We eat here as a family quite often and they absolutely nail it every time! Literally never had a bad experience here. Never a wrong order, never cold food. Not once…ever. That’s extremely impressive for how often we are here and how busy they are. Extremely well ran place.
