People need to take a chill pill about them not taking credit cards. I have been going their since 2002. Owner owned and operated. If you don't have cash and likes to live on debt that's your call. Yes this business doesn't take credit card and it's their decision, are they loosing business? I don't think so. Food is great as always. I go here once in a while to enjoy some good cooked food. Infact we took our kids here today and it's always a consistent food quality. People now a days are too hungup on quickly reviewing a business because they didn't like just one little thing. Get over it. By the way, we ordered Hunan chicken, chicken fried rice and pepper steak.

Best Chinese food in Edmond. Portions are good size, seasoned perfectly! I recommend EGG ROLL EXPRESS!! Bomb!! Combination Rice & Beef and broccoli. Also came with egg drop soup.

I'm in my mid-30s, but I've been coming here half my life since high school. I relocated to Moore, Ok and STILL make the trekk to Edmond for the spicy combo lo mein. Supported even during Covid. Consistently hot, crispy egg rolls and my lo mein prepared right every time. I've rarely been dissatisfied with this place. Hands down best lo mein noodle. It's all about the noodle!

After trying to order by phone numerous times I just stopped by because I needed some of their eggrolls. Six people were in front of me for to go orders but I was still in and out in 15 minutes. That's pretty speedy these days. I ordered a #28 garlic chicken and pepper steak. When I got it home I was worried because it said 19 but no worries it was indeed pepper steak and very good too. The garlic chicken was good and the eggroll was excellent as always. Don't forget to take your cash with you.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I can't let ya'll (negative reviewers) dog on Eggroll Express like this. I've been coming here since I was a child, and it's always been the same food & same staff. On the comments about the staff being rude: This is clearly a family owned restaurant, it's always the same staff. They are open 54 hours a week, with a 30 minute lunch break, working in a hot kitchen. They don't have time for BS. On the price issues: the only online menu was posted by a customer years ago, you should expect (especially after 2020 & recent inflation) that the pricing/menu may change. Regardless, this is the one of the only places left that I can get a meal for $10 anymore, and not only that, I always have left overs (and I'm not a small person). Let's compare getting a 3 finger combo at Canes to ordering a sweet and sour chicken meal from Eggroll - I pay more at Canes & get less food. Eggroll Express has always had great size portions for the pricing, period. The only downside is they are STILL cash only, but they do have an ATM in the store, or you can go to the 7/11 ATM across the street. All in all, don't let these reviews fool you, they are reasonably priced for the food portions, and they aren't rude, they are from a different culture and don't have time to mess around. And my favorite part: it's the only place I've found that has CRISPY sweet & sour chicken.

The menu prices are Wildy different online than the physical location, and I've seen that on other sites with a menu for them. Albeit theres a disclaimer saying prices change without notice, but there's a difference of nearly $4 now and I'm sure they aren't advocating to update online menu prices themselves when im expecting to pay 23.50, when it's actually $40 and some change. I thought it was strange that she didn't say a Total over the phone. Because I would have noticed the $17 difference immediately. But food was already made. There's a massive hidden markup when you order from the online menu. Food was great, but that is Shady business practice.

I have been eating at this place on and off for years. Anytime I pass through Edmond, I have to stop and get me food to eat from here. The hot and sour soup is my favorite dish and one of the best dishes; first tried it from here in 1990. Overall, I don't blame them for accepting cash only because the CC companies are a rip off and charge too much a month for the machine and transactions. This restaurant is A++

The food is just okay the prices are higher. The employees were rude to us when we called to let them know some of our food was missing from our take out order. The portions are almost half of what they used to be and the prices are higher. Finding a new place.

I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this gem in Edmond. I knew the reviews I got were true when I walked in and it was cash only. Their sweet and sour chicken was hot and fresh. The egg roll was huge and I had to fight my family off. Everyone wanted more!

When I get Chinese food because I’ve been doing keto for months my typical order is an order of chicken teriyaki sticks, small egg drop soup, and one egg roll. At other small Chinese places my total is usually $11 which is reasonable, tell me why an order of chicken teriyaki here is $14 for only 4 sticks of chicken? Do not come here if you want over priced Chinese food. Go to he rui, they’ll give you huge portions for cheap!

Paid $40 for $25 worth of food, and they overcharged from what is on the online menu. So if you order from here just know you’re going to pay way more than what you think you are. I also ordered sweet and sour chicken, and I got home to no sweet and sour sauce. Just fry chicken. They also don’t take cards so you have to use their atm machine. Will never be going back. Go to Blue Moon instead.

This place has been staple in Edmond for 20+ years. All the complaints about price difference, and cash only, are people that must always find the negative side of everything. This is the best Chinese in Oklahoma, hands down. I've been to China Town in San Fran and not gotten food as good as ERE.

I used to live around here and used to greet the lady when ever I came here. And I used to come here a lot coz the food here is like nowhere else. Just yummm! I went here a month ago for take out, after so many years later since I don’t live here no more but the lady recognized me and asked if I moved. I am surprised how she still recognizes me. I just love everything about this place. Their red-chilly sauce, chicken teriyaki and chicken fry rice are the must try

I have been eating here for around 17 years, the food hasn't changed which is exceptional! It is literally the best hot and sour soup in the city. Hands down I will fight you. Portions are exceptional, food is always piping hot and made fresh. And the owner is feisty.

I’m 51 and I used to ride my bike there as a kid to pick the food up for dinner. Has tasted great all these years.

Ordered beef broccoli and chicken chowmein and received lunch specials with soup/eggroll that we do not eat. Wished the guy up front mentioned he was giving us that vs what we ordered just box entrees. Also would been nice to also mention they call it lo mein at this establishment got hard noodles with cabbage. Trashed half of the food. What a waste.
