I've been to a few different float studios before, and Modern Gravity is by far the best. Everything was extremely clean and organized. There were touch screen pads with headphones as you enter that let you watch a brief video on how to float. The do's and don'ts. Love how the float tanks almost seemed to be a room to themselves. Also, I loved the area with the Dyson hairblade, almost burnt my beard off. Can't believe how fast it dried. Can't forget about the after float tea area, nice added touch, and great selection. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Very good experience! I went here for my first float and being from 5 hours away, I was very impressed with their service. The guy at the front was incredibly kind and asked if there was anything they could change to improve. They truly care about your experience and want to make sure its the best. The float rooms were a great temperature and had everything you would need, they also have a vanity with a dyson blow dryer and all the attachments for use after. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the city.

Overall it was a pleasant experience, I always enjoy meditation. But to be fair I didn’t enjoy the blue lights when coming out of the tub I feel the colour red would be more relaxing and less intense on the eyes. I also felt it to be a bit too warm and muggy to fully indulge the experience. The man in the front was outstanding and gave excellent service, and the fact they have a chill little library truly knocks the experience out of the park. The lion mural also won me over!

My 3 friends and I went to this amazing place for the first time to celebrate a birthday, it was a great experience, Jayden was very kind and patient with us ( we did ask a lot of questions!) for us as original Israelis it was just like floating on the Dead Sea! We love it and recommend to everyone to try

Pretty awesome place. Went in with my wife for the first time. Thought it was going to be boring, turns out to be super relaxing and I felt 9x better when I came out. Awesome vibe great experience. I get that the price is medium but I am looking forward to the costs coming down, I would go way more often as a monthly ritual.

It's hard to believe that Modern Gravity will be 10 years old this year. I love this place! I've been floating with them since they opened. From needing to destress after a rough week to taking care of my sciatica during my pregnancies, Modern Gravity has been part of my self-care for almost a decade. Before I discovered Modern Gravity, I would drive all the way to the southside to a float spa that had clamshell-type pods. After I experienced Modern Gravity’s float “cabins” there was no going back. I haven't floated anywhere else since. The ambience is chill and welcoming. The private float rooms are cozy and calming. And I can honestly say that their European rain-style shower heads are the best way to end a relaxing float session. I can’t say enough about this place! Matt and JP are the most down-to-earth small business owners you will ever meet and I wish them nothing less than the greatest of success in 2024. Here’s to many more decades of incredible floating guys! Modern Gravity is one of Edmonton's hidden gems 💞

Such an amazing float studio. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very zen atmosphere and cool "space" theme. Float chambers have high ceilings and are very well Insulated of sound and light. Love this place!

After working here, I have to say this particular Float Studio, these particularly amazing human beings, and the vibe they bring to the city of Edmonton is unequaled. Their tanks behind the scenes are a product of their tender love and care, and the clientele they bring in shows it. Matt and JP (or JP and Matt if you're JP reading this) have truly created a unique, safe, and comfortable space to explore your mind and relax your body. No other tanks compare. I hope that you, the other curious strangers reading this, come and take a chance on your well-being because at Modern Gravity, this is the only goal. Humans helping humans relax, for real. 11/10 stars.
