My husband and I were just there for "Live Music Thursday" and as usual, several performers showed up. A couple of younger guys who were very good with the guitar, and not bad singers. "John", one of the regulars sang and played a couple of his pieces, and he basically rocks! An older guy named Dave came in and sung several songs that he wrote, and they were very soulful and moving. (kinda reminded me of an old rocker-type of guy - very cool). A very laid back place, and Bob the owner is a very community-minded guy running a "neighborhood cafe" business. Regulars (and new people) just drop by and say "hi" and grab a coffee. This place is special and we can all help keeps the doors open buy checking this, one of the few locally owned non-chain cafes remaining in Edmonton.

All around great Cafe. The owner Bob is very friendly, and does a great job keeping up with sizeable crowds orders, all by himself. Tasty drinks, and great food. Also the Cafe has a large selection of board games, probably any classics you can name. Highly recommend as a place to come with friends, or to visit by yourself. They are also setup with a well equipped stage, and though I haven't yet been here for live music, I definitely plan on doing so soon.

Really charming locale. Down to earth, friendly staff, and relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay a while longer. Liberal, artsy, and a host and champion of local musicians. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful cafe for music and people lovers. Always some good conversation to be had. The owner is an excellent cook and latte and Thursday nights are open mic. Definitely worth checking out and adopting this local gem as your regular brew and chill spot. There are computers and board games too! What? BOARD GAMES? YES. It's true.

This venue is so great for small intimate acoustic shows. I had never heard of it before but will definitely be keeping an eye out for shows there in the future!

Had our last minute same day wedding here, Bob was extremely accommodating and even put up with the highway noise of my family on video call(my sister was at work and took a break, and she didn't know how to mute her microphone so we wouldn't get the car noise from her lol) it was the perfect, small venue! I love the walls of art there, and how they have a wall of art for the children of the original artists! Definitely plan to go for coffee sometime with our friends!

Had the opportunity of meeting Bob and a couple of newlyweds while surrounded by art, music and history. Loveliest welcome to the city. Thanks for being here! Edmonton people are so lucky to have this venue! Get out and experience this gem.

Bob is a solid dude, one of the old guards of the city. I really admire and respect the diligent work he has done since the 80's. It would be a sin if I did not write this review, he has been so good to me and my mother. He caters to all every kind of person, truly an exemplary person. As for the Café, Naked has always been a chill spot for hip and trendy people of all ages and creeds. I've seen everything at Naked and Bob makes the general atmosphere good for even introverts, there's plenty of corners with chairs, mini-tables, potted plants and vines and board games. Not to mention the state of the art PCs and Macs there's always one available. I have to say, that as far as I know, besides for the schools this is the ONLY chill spot in all of downtown Edmonton, that alone tells you the kind of person who runs it.

Incredible place. The owner Bob is very kind, with no shortage of interesting stories. Thursday evenings feature open jams, which is heartwarmingly supportive and encouraging with phenomenal acoustics for a cafe. The coffee is great, and like everything on the menu is unreasonably inexpensive. The owner’s passion is nothing short of beautiful and inspiring—not at all discouraged by the fact that Naked Cafe reliably loses money in the aftermath of covid. I have found what is easily not only my favourite cafe, but also my favourite business in Canada. I will never hesitate to stop by if it’s possible to do so, and I really encourage anyone to do the same.

This is a great place. There is a lot to do there. Like playing a board game or doing karaoke or just hanging out with friends. They have good beverages and food there. It is a great place to hang out with a group or by yourself.

A neat cozy little place just to chill, play board games, have coffee or tea and listen to some live music. It was nice to get out of the house just to go somewhere and relax other than home with covid restrictions in place.

A Bohemian gem, a little breath of cultural life gritty and fresh from the roots, a precious antidote to dull homogeneity

Met the owner who was very sociable and easy going. The coffee was great and very affordable. The cafe reminds me of cafes on the East Coast. I could see myself and friends hanging out for many hours on a weekend or flying solo to complete work. Great spot.
