We are from out of town and we know our food, this is Nothing close to French food, shame i have been to similar (copy) restaurant in las vegas with same name and it was amazing there the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately our experience was mediocre with very mediocre food.

Have been wanting to try Brasserie Bardot since they opened 14 months ago - Opening in a pandemic, what a tough hill to climb! I was underwhelmed with the whole experience. The ambiance was Lack lustre, yet had so much potential. The lighting was too bright, and music was off giving it more of a cafe feel than French fine dining. The beet tartare recommendation was lovely to start with, however I could have probably made my meal at home. This is not a dairy allergy friendly restaurant. The service was loud, and continually interrupted our evening. She also continually forgot about my dairy allergy and to end the night we had to ask for our coats, after waiting at the front door for sometime. For a restaurant I’ve been looking forward to trying, I was beyond underwhelmed. It won’t be at the top of mind when choosing to go out next.

Nice quaint restaurant with a French inspired menu. The escargot Wellington was our favorite appetizer and we also liked beef tartare. The wine list is extensive but limited to the old world. The service was personable. We had the three course fondue and it was very tasty, our only critique was that the beef bourguignon was not traditional, the beef was already cooked and the fondue was simply a gravy sauce. Would definitely recommend this place and we plan on going back.

One of the best hidden date night spots in downtown Edmonton. We sat on their cute patio and had an incredible dinning experience. The scallops were cooked perfectly on a beautiful risotto. I had the cod as a main dish, and my boyfriend had the steak. Both were cooked to perfection and so delicious. The staff were lovely and made our anniversary dinner exceptional. For such high end food, the prices were very fair. Can't wait to return!

Our onion soup appetizer and escargot wellington was very tasty. The 3 course fondue was great, finishing off with Bernard Callabot chocolate fondue. It came with house made salted sponge toffee which was amazing. Prices were very reasonable.

Super disappointing. Fish was bland & undercooked the sauce that came with it was very unpleasant looking and tasting. Steak was over seasoned. Soup came out warm not hot... Flowers on table were dead. Etc... Will not return.

We had a yummy meal tonight. I had the schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Our server was very professional and sweet at the same time! She even helped us find my friends sunglasses that fell into the bushes from the patio.

Went to Brasserie Bardot tonight for my birthday, they just updated their menu and it was amazing, I had the chicken supreme and hubby had the peppercorn steak, highly recommend both. The staff was very friendly and attentive and they comped us a chocolate cake for my birthday, it was the perfect evening out. We love this place go check them out!

When you order a 3-course fondue with cheese fondue, bourguignonne fondue, and chocolate fondue, you expect 3 fondues, right?! Well, their bourguignonne fondue isn't a fondue. It's simply a boeuf bourguignon! And the worst is when they try to make me belive, while I was born and raised in France, that it is what a fondue bourguignonne is supposed to look like! Sorry, but pouring boeuf bourguignon in a fondue container does not make it a fondue! The same as putting a burger in a pizza pan does not make it a pizza lol Ridiculous!!!

Quaint little setting perfectly set for couple dinner. We had a memorable evening and the server was very helpful with menu selection and recommendations. The ambience was cozy and named after Brigitte Bardot. Food was reasonably price and will come back for sure!!

Excellent burger, perfectly cooked and creatively served. Good wine selection. Enjoyed the coziness of small rooms, attentive service without overly present staff.

The staff are absolutely brilliant! The mixologist (Jennifer) gave us amazing and friendly service, with amazing custom drinks! They location itself is gorgeous and the building is well decorated. The charcuterie, cordon blue and boulleboise were so tasty! Will definitely dine in again!

This is an absolutely exceptional restaurant. The service, atmosphere and food are all incredible. I have a food allergy that was attended to with the utmost care by both Tamara (who is amazing!) and the chef and kitchen staff...and the items they prepared for me were outstanding. I will be back here soon, and recommend this restaurant without any hesitation!

This was our first time at Brasserie Bardot. We went to celebrate our anniversary. It’s a small restaurant so the atmosphere was intimate and it made for the perfect romantic night. Our server was really friendly and had good timing. The plating was really appetizing and the food was delicious! We will definitely plan to visit again.

The food here is excellent! Especially the Chateaubriand! The atmosphere is lovely. It's a beautiful hundred year old house that's been converted to a restaurant, and it's really a great location. If you're looking for excellent French cooking in Edmonton, this is definitely the place to go! Honestly my only complaint is that the service has been hit or miss when we've been here. Some of their servers are excellent! Some less so.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I have been to this restaurant twice so far and will for sure go back. I really like the atmosphere, the food is really good. The service on our first visit was not very good, but on this second visit the service was great. My wife and I will definitely go back for dinner soon.

The food here is excellent, though I've had varying degrees of quality of service during my visits. Their Chateaubriand is phenomenal, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It's a lovely little spot tucked away near Glenora, and if you haven't eaten there before, I would highly recommend trying it out!

This place is a GEM! ❀️ Paris was amazing and gave better service than we have had anywhere else. We did a bachelorette party here and had the most delicious drinks, amazing food and so many laughs with a beautiful view. definitely recommend!

Personally, I always have a hard time finding really GOOD restaurants in Edmonton. There's lots that are "okay", but few that are memorable. This one is a notable exception. My wife and I went for the first time recently, and everything was excellent: impeccable service from our server, a beautiful restaurant to sit in, and all of the food was first-rate from the appetizer through to dessert. Brasserie Bardot is now on our very short list of quality Edmonton restaurants to return to.

Very good French brasserie in the city. Lots of choice on the menu including many seafood dishes. Our server Ema was excellent; she was very friendly and her pace of service was bang on, not too fast and not too slow, but just right to enjoy a wonderful night out. Great location in a historic old house with lots of character.

Absolutely delicious. The food was fantastic with attentive service in a romantic atmosphere. The best creme brulee I've ever had. (Price per person included shared appetizer and dessert, two mains, a cocktail each, and a bottle of wine.)

One of my favourite places in Edmonton. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful. Service is perfect, the waiter was very attentive but wasn’t too much of a bother. And the most important part - food, I absolutely loved it. The beet salad is to die for, chicken, short rib and salmon were absolutely delicious. We’re definitely coming back.

Great overall! Many thanks to our server, who was sweet and friendly - making us feel at home and comfortable, even though my jeans and T-shirt had me feeling a tad under dressed for the evening. My wife's short rib meal and son's tenderloin were fantastic, as was the baked brie appetizer. I had the burger, and found the truffle fries were the best fries I've ever had - seriously, that good!! The French onion soup could have been a little richer, but it was worth having.

An absolute fantastic meal Thursday, the food was delicious and the service while very friendly and attentive also left us to enjoy our conversation without repeated interruptions. The food was delicious, well presented and the pace was not rushed

Food was great and hard to top, but the service from Don was even better than the food. I said to my wife, I wouldn't come back downtown just for the food (even though it was exceptional) but I would come back for the food in combination with the service we received from Don as our server. What a great experience we had with him. Very personable, friendly and good sense of humour. It was an absolute pleasure and will cause me to make more trips into the city.

went here with family friends before christmas time, what a lovely experience! the restaurant is in a classic little house with lovely decor. the atmosphere is very cozy but still remains high class and fancy. our server was my favourite, reminded me of stanley tucci. very bubbly, attentive, and informative. of course, the factor that brings it all together, the food. i had a delightful meal. baked brie as an appetizer, seafood pastry as a main, and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. everything was delicious, great portions, and plenty of pastry (not everything on the menu has pastry, it’s just what i ordered lol). highly recommend going here for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful meal at the Brasserie Bardot. We were a group of 10 friends and we had a large room all to ourselves. This was great as we did not need to worry if we got a bit loud. Our server, Ebony, was fantastic and really made the event special. Everyone loved the food and all in all it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Thank you to everyone at the Brasserie Bardot for a wonderful night.

Super service, terrific food. The French onion soup was amazing and filling and they were donating a portion to charity. Also check out their house wine, from a vineyard of the restaurant owner!

Lovely to see this beautiful building being used as a restaurant again. Interior is funky and quite appropriate for a "brasserie" theme. Food was tasty but the caramelized onion/brie burger was difficult to eat without a knife and fork. Service was attentive but not rushed. Prices were reasonable. Will come again

First time visiting this restaurant. Had a couple of small plates and a glass of wine with a friend. Both items we ordered were great and we both were full just with the appetizers. The atmosphere here takes you to a bistro in France. Great spot. Looking forward to trying other menu items on my next visit.

Atmosphere was great, menu seamed good, service was terrible. The wine list was good, maybe a little high in markup but expected. We started with the meat and cheese charcuterie which was good. My Tuna steak ( valentine's day special)was not good, the first one was so over cooked it was hard to chew so I sent it back. The second tuna steak was cold. I am not sure if it touched the grill for more than a couple of seconds, which is fine for good grade tuna but this was still chewy and smelt day old . My better half had the beef loin steak and it was done to perfection and accompanied with great fries. We finished by sharing ice cream which also was good. As I stated, it is worth another try but I'll stay away from the specials and holidays. If I had the steak and better service, this would have been a four or five.

Great French cuisine for affordable brunch prices. Service was slow and the decor was more befitting of a summer or spring day as opposed to the winter we had

I've been for lunch twice and was really impressed both times. The meat and cheese board is an incredible value! Shared the two person option for $12 and you get so much. Also had the mussels with unlimited fries both visits and it was a delicious and unique dish. The mussels were tasty and plentiful and the fries were perfectly crisp. They've also done a great job renovating and updating the space. I'm looking forward to going back for dinner and trying out the three course fondue.
