Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant near the Telus World of Science. I’m spoiled that it’s so close to my house! Everything I’ve had from the menu is fresh, full of flavour, and 5 stars. The portion sizes are generous too. I eat from here at least once a week. My favourites are the paneer tikka, aloo tikki and veg samosas, the dal makhani is out of this world, the momo dumplings are a must try especially if you’re a dumpling lover. The soups are fantastic as well. This place has easily become one of my favourite places to eat in Edmonton. I crave their food daily!

I can see why this bistro has raving reviews! A quiet little neighborhood gem. The owner is very friendly and very good at what he does. You can tell the place has been built from passion. Everything we had was absolutely incredible *chef's kiss* and the local art and somewhat open kitchen added a very homey touch to the atmosphere. We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Mountain Green Bean Bistro and will be returning as new neighborhood regulars and highly encourage anyone else who's looking to GO. GET IN YOUR VEHICLE, OR GO FOR THE WALK - IT IS 100% WORTH IT A THOUSAND TIMES OVER. My only regret? Not trying Mountain Bistro sooner ♡ Thanks again for the wonderful evening 👌

The food is fantastic, service is great and the portions are huge always have leftovers. Me and the GF's favourite restaurant since we've tried it, the price is very reasonable. 100% recommended.

Green Beans Mountain Bistro was an excellent experience, we did not know what to expect from such a wide variety of different types of food, the aroma, quality of ingredients, the beverage menu, the PORTIONS for the price! (don't let my little plate presentation fool you) and above all the service was amazing, we were treated like we were daily regular customers. This has immediately become a top spot for my girlfriend and i.

This place is a 5/5 rated restaurant if you’re looking for some great food, hospitality and taste. The food is one of its kind and has great flavours. Talking about the ambiance, 5 stars in hygiene and cleanliness, be it the dine in area or the kitchen. The front staff is amazing, and really polite. I would rate the entire experience as 5 star experience. Must try at least once if you’re looking for something amazing to eat and want to take a break from your own kitchen. We had Choley bhature and chilli chicken momos. Both of them were the best ones I’ve had in Edmonton. Highly recommended.

We stumbled on this Bistro on a quick trip to Edmonton. We had business on the West End and pulled in to the parking lot to go to a coffee place and then noticed the bistro had Indian food. So glad we were curious enough to go in!! First off, we noticed the artwork featuring Nepal and then Nepalese food on the menu. We've been to Nepal, so we were super excited to meet the Nepalese owner. We chose to try Indian and Nepalese food that night, and it was amazing!! Delicious, generous portions and reasonably priced. The owner was checking in with us throughout our meal. Super friendly. You can tell their is great pride and delight in what they make and serve. We had a 3 hour drive home that night and all we could talk about was that fantastic meal and how we want to tell everyone about Mountain Bistro. It is going to be 'our' spot now when we go to Edmonton. Update: we were in Edmonton again today. Tried the veg Korma and the steamed momos this time...and stuck with rice, naan and dal makhani (which we love). Again, the food was superb! The momos were better than what we had in Nepal! We will keep coming back!!

Excellent food and service. Wide ranging menu, but I come for the Nepalese and Indian offerings. Love these kind of independent businesses in Edmonton. Momo Love.

I’m lucky enough to work nearby and can’t help but to order lunch here whenever I I can. There’s always something different I want to try and it’s always beyond satisfying! The food tastes amazing and is accommodating for all kinds of pallets and preferences. The portion sizes and prices are fantastic and you really get your money’s worth. Every time I go there, I’m greeted with excellent customer service. I really look forward to going there at least once a week

Came here for lunch while visiting the Telus centre. Highly worth it right across the street and so much better than the food you can get there. We had the butter chicken combo which came with saffron rice and naan bread. Wasn't sure about the spice level so I asked for medium but as someone who eats spicy this wasn't spicy at all. The taste was fantastic though and the naan bread was fresh and also really good. For $14.99 this was a great lunch. The other dish we tried was the Nepanese chicken with noodles. For this dish we asked for spicy and again it wasn't really that spicy. They do have chili oil which was nice so we mixed it in and it was very good. The portion was really big and everything tasted good. Service was also good so we would definitely go back when in the area.

What a great find. I really like this place. I’ve been back multiple times now and each time was a good experience. This is a hidden gem, tucked away near the Space and Science Centre. The food is great. Fresh too. The sandwiches are so good, especially the Ruben or Montreal Smoked Meat. The appetizers I’ve tried are also rather impressive. The quality and presentation is excellent. Fast. Clean. Super Polite staff. Decent prices for the quality and quantity. Everyone should try this place at least once. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Had lunch with a friend. The food tasted good. Good size portions at a very reasonable price. Ordered a veg combo and a meat combo. Both came with three curries, rice, naan, salad and dessert all for under $35 Service was great . Will definitely visit more often to try other items on their extensive menu.

Amazing food! The Paneer Tikka was excellent. Squeeze the lemon over the cheese… simply amazing. Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Chili Momo, Rice, Fish Pakora…. All excellent!!

Had 1/2 hour to kill so stopped by this place, Mountain Bistro, by chance. Entering the Bistro was very pleasant, original art work was on all walls. It was uncrowded and very clean. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. I ordered a new york Rueben sandwich. Original rye bread tons of meat and sauerkraut etc., so delicious. Great staff, great food and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Awesome!!

Best butter chicken in town! Highly recommend! I also tried their butter chicken poutine…so gooood, I never get tired of their food! Very clean bathrooms! I was on a date and thought the attention to detail was amazing with the heart shaped bowl.

Absolutely loved the Chicken Curry and Naan - so fresh and fluffy. The Steamed Rice was a let down, left a white film on our spoons and had an earthy taste as if the starch was not rinsed off. I guess make your own rice because it was not the kind of quality you should be paying for.
