Awesome place to go for a walk with family. Lot of deer that's not even scared to barking dogs.

This is one of my favorite places to take a stroll with my dog. A short paved walking path with different gardens all along it and plenty of places to stop and rest.

Awesome place to walk around. Lots of interesting and beautiful sculptures. The little garden area and the many benches are great places to take photographs. Lots of cute deer walking around in the evenings. Plenty of pokestops ans gyms for pokemon go players. The lake has an awesome bridge over it where you can see all the turtles in the lake.

A maze of paved paths, manicured landscape, water feature and native forests give you the chance to create your own adventures. Easy and accessible. A great way to squeeze in a getaway that doesn't have to be an all day event.

Walked around before going out to dinner. Definitely a manageable walk that most anyone can do! Highly recommend going down to see the lantern and stopping to take it in. Beautiful scenery and well kept gardens! Would be wonderful for photos!

This park is my absolute favorite. I love walking the gardens and seeing the deer and geese. The gardens are so well maintained and the flowers are absolutely gorgeous. They have a pagoda that faces a lake and during the summer evenings Photography opportunities are amazing. The wildlife along makes this an amazing place for casual walks and if your a photographer-photography sessions.

Fantastic, beautiful work by the staff. The trails are all fun to explore and there are plenty of different routes to take depending on personal preference. The Lantern besides the pond at the garden is a good spot for pictures and can be a nice rest spot in this part of campus even for large groups. Would definitely recommend giving a look if you are in the area

I love the gardens. It's one place that I can go walk and enjoy myself. It also has tons of pokestops if you're into pokemon go. But remember to actually look at the gardens and not just at your phone.

How did we not know about taking pictures here. Great backdrops and photo setups in this area. But be warned...you won’t be the I love you too! ones here. Can get a bit crowded during peak times of the year.

Beautiful park with many "tame" deer. Apparently it's a great place to take family or graduation photos. The place was packed with photographers.

Very nice garden for a morning/afternoon stroll. Very well maintained. Especially, there is a pond closed by where I have seen people fishing. Thank you SIUE for providing the space.

Good place for Pokémon go and also the gazebos hella tight

  • 4/5 Brian G. 4 years ago on Google
Great place for casual walks and park bench sitting. The paved trail through the garden is a bit narrow so it is not a great place for running or biking as it is difficult to get around the casual walkers.
