    Staff was friendly, but the wait was long even for a mobile order ahead of time, and there was hardly any meat on the burger or bacon on the fries. Does this lol like a $7 burger? A $10 order? It was cold and old, and so oversalted it was difficult to eat. Can't believe I punished my body instead of tossing it. I will never be back. I might try a different Wendy's, but only if I get a special offer. I'll never pay full price for this insult.

    This Wendy's over and over again has the worst service ever. It takes FOREVER for them to wait on you in the drive through and then when you finally get to the window the workers move slower than any other I have ever seen. It is absolutely ridiculous. I enjoy Wendy's food but this place is so not worth it. Will take my business elsewhere.

    This store needs a whole new staff. The last two times my boyfriend and I tried to go have been awful and we won’t return. The first time, we went to the drive thru at around 10 pm and their hours online say they close at 12. There was a decent line and they served every car in front of us. When we got to the speaker, she said that they can’t serve us because they were closing. We waited for 30 minutes just for them to say they can’t serve us even though they weren’t supposed to be closing that early and had served every car in the line in front of us. This morning, my boyfriend placed a mobile order 30 minutes after they opened. He went to pick it up and was greeted at the speaker with people laughing. They said it would be a couple minutes, no big deal. He waited 30 minutes, he tried to call and they ignored him and ignored him when he tried to get their attention in the drive thru. He cancelled the order, but we don’t know if he still got charged. I tried to call the manager to tell them about the last two experiences, and if you see their reviews like obviously something needs to change. She didn’t hear me out and hung up the phone. I’ve never left a bad review or had such bad customer service experience. Save your money and time and do not go to this Wendy’s.

    This store has the most inconsistent hours and staffing that I’ve ever had to deal with. This store always closes before the time stated on Google which isn’t a problem for most people because there are other restaurants that actually have integrity and have accurate hours listed on their advertisements but for people that do things like Uber eats and DoorDash when the company lies about when it is open they get orders that they then have to drive to a close restaurant and waste their time and gas when the economy is currently the most expensive it’s ever been. Not to mention they must be understaffed or poorly staffed as the company will turn off the lights way before closing time just to avoid taking customers which is not only inconvenient due to the lack of numbers of restaurants in this town but also I can only imagine the lost profits. I don’t know if this company is corporate or franchise but I sure know if this was my company I would have a change of management because it’s honestly embarrassing for whoever runs that restaurant.

    Came with kids to get frostiest on a hot summer day. Google maps says they are open for dine in. Doors locked in early evening.....again. Need to open dining room or just close it for good. Drive thru seems like it's only open now.

    This place has really gone downhill in the last few years. We decided last week to give it another try. Went inside & ordered through the app to take advantage of some deals. Took way longer than it should have, even with only three people working at the time. About the time we finally got our food (after asking directly about it twice), I watched the manager lock the doors. On one hand, I recognized they were unable to keep up with limited staff. On the other hand, they put no notice on the doors about the situation. We watched multiple come and try to enter with no clue what was going on. Not a good way to treat potential customers.

    We don't always come to this Wendy's but when we do the meal is either perfect for one person and not for the other. Inside is not the cleanest, even before covid. Service has always been good. Workers are polite everytime we went. *Update* Another review four months later. My first post was rated at three stars. Now I'm giving a one. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich for my wife. The lettuce was wilted and they forgot tomatoes. I ordered a new hot honey chicken sandwich. I was supposed to get cheese, bacon, and sauce on my sandwich. It only had fried pickles. What the heck! Service was good but food was horrible.

    I went through the drive through earlier today with only a single car in front of me. I waited in line for 30 minutes, making me late to work. I ordered two jr bacon cheeseburgers and a small fry. I’ve lived in Edwardsville for 28 and years and have never experienced such inexperienced poor quality service from this business in my life. I asked for a refund. They were extremely rude and did not care saying “the manager isn’t here” clearly, because they had no idea what was going on. This place has gone done hill by a mile since the pandemic and I will never return to this location.

    Horrible customer service! We'd had a delivery order with mistakes. Couldn't get them by phone as it sounded like a busy signal (figured they'd taken the phone off the hook - it was 7:00 pm). So, drove up to get the order rectified. At drive thru, I told the attendant the issues. Window guy must have been listening as they said to come up to his window. Taco salad was missing chili. Instead of the 1/2 container that has always been a part of that (I've ordered that item for years), he tried to hand me a very small "dipping" container. I asked "what's that?" He said "it's chili". They must have decided greatly reducing the amount with the taco salad would be a way to generate savings. Reluctantly, he said he'd give me a second one. I said "well we won't be coming here again." And, he said "that's ok." (!!!!!) He started closing the window and I said "Wait. We're not done yet." And, I repeated that my drink was far from filled. He asked me what size we'd ordered and if I'd already drunk it. I was so surprised, I said "yes" even though that wasn't the case. (Figured he was expecting that I'd bring it up with me as evidence.) So, he filled a small cup (I'd ordered Large) and said "here's a free one on us" with obvious sarcasm. I asked about the availability of a manager and he said "there's not one here right now." (I thought restaurants always had some kind of manager on duty.) So sad. Service has just gone down hill there precipitously. Always felt well taken care of in the past. We will NOT be going there again. System won't let you post unless you give at least 1 star. Not deserved but I wanted people to know how bad the service has gotten there.

    This place is a joke. It’s just awful. They don’t pay attention to modifications and half the time they don’t even put all the toppings on that come regularly. How ima add cheese and onion to my chili. Those are both mods, you put the free onions on but not the cheese I paid .50 for. Make it make sense. Seriously screw that place save your money. Can’t even get a simple cup of chili correct. Order a chicken blt and you guys put lettuce tomato but no bacon. A topping that’s in the freaking name. Never again.

    Burgers and fries were lukewarm, at best. Being charged $22 for 2 single combos and 2 coffees, I thought at least the food would be hot!! I was standing there for quite awhile, so thought it was being prepared right then. Also, no individual creamers for our coffee to go? You were saved by the fact that we had some in our cooler from our camping trip. But, we do like other food to be hot.

    They need to learn how to operate more efficiently when they have multiple customers. When I first ordered I was the only customer there and they moved relatively quickly. They then had four or five customers come in and could not handle it at all. I didn't order frostys on my way out because I stood in line for ten minutes while they handled one customers entire order (taking, cooking, serving) before taking another customers order, gave up and left.

    The Baconators fries were good. But for some reason the place was open but not to dine in. Plus the floor was wet without any advertisement of Caution wet floor. Employees with faces like they don't want to do their job. And the last thing, they didn't have forks for the fries. :/ Firts and last time here.

    Food was decent. Music extremely loud and some sort of annoying buzzer going off every few minutes. Extremely slow to get ordered and to get food. I'm a Wendy's fan but probably our last trip to this location

    Food is always alright but it took more than 10 minutes to get a response from the drive-thru cashier, he was very soft spoken so it was difficult to understand him both through the speaker and at the window, he looked like he was very upset. Lacking in lids for anything other than small drinks. Requested no ice twice at the speaker for my drinks and was still provided drinks with ice. No straws either which was both incredibly puzzling and frustrating. Wish it was at least a halfway decent experience but sadly that wasn't the case

    Food was good once you got it. Sodas very carbonated. Service was very slow. Looked like enough people but they moved very very slowly. The counter person would ring you up and slowly prepare the tray then after she was done would ring up the next person. The person behind us got her food when we were almost done eating. When you don’t ring up more than one customer at a time before preparing food tray the cook has little time to react to the order. The place looked really nice and was very clean. Employee was neither nice or rude. Was just there. Maybe motivated people would help.

    I ordered a Dave's triple cheeseburger, large fries and a large coke. Two out of three was correct but I received a Dave's single cheeseburger instead of my Dave's triple cheeseburger. My wife ordered a Dave's double cheeseburger, lg fries and LG diet Coke. My wife gave me her double and she took my single. The double only had cheese on it and it was dried up like it was sitting around for a while. Plus the crew needs to be more professional in their conduct and not use profanity in conversations between each other in hearing range of customers.

    I get it's the evening around 1030 in Edwardsville but it's the nightshift not trained? Waiting in line for factor for about 15 mins without the line moving is crazy. I've also came thru drive thru another time and they only allowed online orders?

    Ordered on the app @ 6:45am, show up and menu is on but no one responded. I had time to kill and wanted my potatoes so I sat there for 40 min before being spoken too. So don’t go there early, potato’s are still fire tho. That’s the only reason they get a star.

    We really like Wendy's. When they close their lobby, it really hurts travellers, especially who have kids. We went ten minutes out of our way to eat here, only to find we needed to go elsewhere for all the facilities we needed for our stop.

    I'm not usually one to be over critical on reviews but this Wendy's needs to be under new management. I have been here several times and usually the wait is long not a big deal help is hard to come by these days. This is not the problem, the problem is the employees. We have had food missing a few times and its impossible to get someone on the phone. My boyfriend and I went last night because I was really wanting a salad and again terrible service. I am not sure of the name of the employee but it was a female working on 1/9/23 working the window. She handed my boyfriend our food and he was about to say I didn't get my soda and she cut him off at " I didn't ge" and she said I know in the rudest manner ever. Usually they hand you the drinks first so we just didn't want to leave without our soda's. Anyway just want people to know the employees here are not nice at all.

    Wife ordered a taco salad on 10/19/22. As you can see in the picture, the tomatoes had mold on them. Threw it out.

    The wait was long and then they asked if they could give me a strawberry frosty instead of chocolate and I said no. After driving off I realized they gave me strawberry anyway. Never even took into consideration the possibility of a strawberry allergy. So I paid almost $2 for something I can't even eat anyway.

    Food was alright, good prices. The workers seemed... off. I won't go into too much detail, but if I had looked harder at the cashier, I probably could have determined that he was high. The floor in the kitchen was not a site I would like to see ever again, the floor in the dining area wasn't much better. There were dirty trays everywhere. Don't go.

    Wrong ORDER ACROSS THE BOARD! Awful SERVICE! 45 MINUTE WAIT IN DRIVE TRUE… LESS THEN INTELLIGENT RUDE GIRL WEARING GLASSES AT DRIVE TRU. After she had to ask another employee to find ketchup and hot sauce she still FORGOT TO PUT IT IN BAG. COLD BURNED HALF FULL FRYS, WRONG DRINK FLAT AND WARTED DOWN. No APOLOGIES, just RUDELY AND DUMBFOUNDED WHEN WE HAD TO GO BACK AND ASK FOR EVERYTHING TO CORRECTED. Would NOT GIVE US A RECEIPT.
