Location ist super schön in der Natur und untere Bereiche absolut top. Zimmer allerdings zu dem Preis unverschämt. Klein mit wenig Fenstern, schlecht ausgestattet, Lichtschalter gingen zum Teil nicht, Bad sieht aus wie bei Oma, labbriger Duschvorhang wie in einer Studenten-WG

Uh, what to say. Lost between tradition and modern without excuse for such high prices. If you make mistake and go to diner in their restaurant called The Farmers Club, beside long waiting, you will get overpriced smal portions of average food, presented as special gourmay meals. From outside it looks great.

Came here for a business function and really enjoyed it. The location is great just 30 min from Munich, the property is gorgeous and the staff super friendly. The room was nice, though a bit basic, but very clean and well maintained. Food was fantastic and plentiful. Loved the fresh vegetarian lunches, creative coffee breaks and delicious dinner menus. Great wine and beverage menu, too.

We were here for a overnight workshop. It’s in the midst of nature so really nice location for weddings. The rooms are neat, spacious. The food service is as nice and guest service amazing. This place has a old charm to it. Lot of hiking places nearby.

Ein absolutes muss, wenn man raus in die Natur möchte. Ringsherum nur grün was einlädt für Spaziergänge oder Fahrradtouren. Es gibt überall Sitzgelegenheiten zum zurückziehen. Das Essen ist Bio und wird selbst angebaut und das schmeckt man. Der Service ist Erstklassik. Ich war für eine Schulung dort würde aber jederzeit mit der Ehefrau dort ein paar Tage verbringen.

Hotel & Restaurant & conference centre; Restaurant offers resonable food (but nothing special) for unacceptable & ridiculous price level. Hotel rooms offer cleanliness but very low quality of equipment. No TV, no AC, no refrigerator, small space. Shower of claustrophobic size offers you terrible shower curtain you are afraid to touch. Place definately overpriced and overrated.

Waren hier für eine Tagung. Das Essen ist überragend! Sowohl die vegetarischen als auch die Fleisch Varianten. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Restaurant was closed Friday and Saturday. A team building party was noisy. Breakfast was though very good

Note: My stay was just a two-days-conference with no overnight. Very friendly and heart-warming Service. The scenery was due to non-stop rain even more breathtaking. I loved the cats strolling in and out of the conference room: 1. we were able to ventilate the room between the talks to stay focused 2. the smile on the faces of the guests lessened the tense atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay. Our friends found Sonnenhausen to be one of the most beautiful places they had ever seen. Our stay, our meals, and the people we met were all wonderful. The only thing I could see for improvement is the marking and information about hiking trails on the property. There are so many opportunities for beautiful walks, and they should be emphasized. I hope we are able to return someday for a visit.

We chose this venue for our wedding and decided to participate in the open kitchen evening they offer. The welcoming was very impressive, the food was plenty and delicious. They had a local bio wine producer for the drinks (everything is bio BTW). You sit at long tables with other guests and you're also encouraged to discuss about the food or whatever you feel like (or not). At all times you can walk around the kitchen and ask the chef and his crew what is what and why is it prepared a certain way. This was an exceptional evening and even though the price may seem a little high this is a unique chance to try a bunch of different plates 6-8 with lots of sides and tasty desserts! Chalet chic but not pretentious. Check it out.
