There are so many churches in Munich but this one has a long history. From the outside it looks ok but once you step in, you get to see the wonderful paintings and its amazing architecture. Even it’s not far away from Munich main Square.

A beautiful church dedicated to the Holy Spirit. Located in the center of the town, just where the open market it. Really beautiful inside.

Visited on Christmas morning. The smoky interior of the church had a very mysterious appearance. Unlike the noisy outside, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It was also a good place to take a break during the trip.

The church's interior is magnificent. With some of the most intricate paintings displaying genuine creative talent. There is nothing like the unique carving on the capitals and arched celling. Truly one of a kind.

A lovely sanctuary just off the Marienplatz. Lots of interesting murals, paintings, sculptures, and carvings throughout. Can be pretty busy, and although most visitors are quiet and respectful, this may not always be the best place for uninterrupted reflection.

The gothic church welcomes you with a trip back in time to the era of awesome architecture and holiness. one of the iconic churches in central Munich that you must see. the ceiling is incredible so is the sculptures and paintings.

A nice Gothic church in the old town of Munich. Decorations were nice and the church has a signature look from the outside. We visited during the Christmas and the organ was being played. I heard it for the first time and it was amazing.

Beautiful Catholic church in Baroque style. Located right in the city center, definitely worth a visit.

OMG! How many churches per a sq.km.?! Holy Ghost is one of them. It's maybe the lowest, but in beauty and elegance it's not inferior to the others in the neighborhood. If you there, definitly, Go!

Church that does not charge you or put a gate in front of you. Can just go in and listen to them

This is a beautiful church with a gorgeous alter. It is free to enter and take photos but remember it is an active church so be respectful.

Very nice church, though rather small. Was there for the summer concert - overall great, but the pews were rather uncomfortable (though there were a few chairs for those who couldnt stand them)

There are so many churches in Munich that sometimes it is hard to pick which ones to visit. This one is one of the oldest in Munich. From the outside it looks ok but once you walk inside you get to see the wonderful paintings and its amazing architecture. If you are on a time crunch but want to see a beautiful church on the inside then this is your pick. It is not far away from Marienplatz.

Very nice church. The colors are white, pink and light cream. Beautiful painting on the walls and the ceiling. 👍🏻
