Very nice place. Sadly we only could sit outside because of Covid. But the interior has a lovely and very beautiful Greek style deco. Will definitely visit again when it is possible to sit inside. The staff was very very friendly and the service was super. The food was good and in big portions. The beer garden is not very big but it is still a very nice corner to enjoy lunch with a little sun 😊.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The service is great - polite and funny and the food is delicious with big huge portions and possibility to take the what is left of your food at the end with you. You get a shot of drink on the house before the dinner and at the end. Also, you get salad and bread with your order. Definitely coming back! P. S. The place was recommended by a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It has a very cosy feeling and nice interiors. The food was delicious, especially the lamb items. We also tried the calamari gyro as a recommendation from the staff and it was one of the best calamari we have had in Munich. The staff of the place deserve special mention. Friendly, humorous and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome even though there was a bit of a language barrier. We will visit this place again. A must try

The restaurant is very nice, always full, better to make a reservation before. The staffs are friendly they do bring a lot of the Greek shots. The price is fair. The food tastes really good but it's a bit oily, but I will definitely be there again to try other dishes.

Wonderful place in the neighbourhood with cozy interiors. In summers, there is a best vibe in outdoor seating. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients and good portions. The chef did a wonderful job. The staff was friendly, attentive and make us comfortable. The service was quick and the Aperitif shots were complimentary, which was not expected. Can highly recommended it.

A truly memorable dinner with very good service. The chicken was cooked very well and the complimentary Aperitif shots were a very nice addition. Tip : if you are going with a group of more than 4 people, remember to reserve a table in advance ( as the place is generally crowded in the evening ).

Typical Greek restaurant in the Laim neighborhood. We arrived close to closing, so we took little advantage of the restaurant. We ate typical practicals, and two delicious drinks that I don’t remember the name.

Went there by chance with a few friends yesterday and I was positively surprised! The relaxed atmosphere you witness as soon as entering the restaurant lets you feel like being in Greek. The servers were competent and nice - we had to reorder the sides for one of our dishes about 15 minutes in and he knew exactly which dish the one reordering had (at that time he served about 40 people). The starter (seen on the picture - ordered for 2 persons) was plenty and tasty. The lamb was tender and probably the best I had in Germany so far. Can highly recommend this place!

Being myself a Greek I can verify that 'tou bakali' has real Greek authentic food. Nice atmosphere. The best Greek restaurant I have visited in Germany so far!

Good decoration, good service but the food were also ok. The tzatziki tasted a bit like mayonnaise-based und Potatoes wedges as the sides seemed like not “home made” for me.

Food was excellent, big generous portions. Even the platter for two starter could easily indulge 3-4 people. Not the cheapest place, but for the quality and portions it is worth it if you specifically want Greek food. Maybe not so much if just want to go out for dinner somewhere
