It was a beautiful Valentines Day dinner cruise. The wait staff, especially David, went above and beyond to make our night special. The food was beautiful and absolutely delicious. On the top deck, there was a DJ that played great music and we danced under the sunset and then under the stars. Jeff had flowers sent to the boat and they were presented at just the right time. Jeff asked me to be his wife and I can't think of a better place for him to have done that. My Jeff, the staff, and the venue were just perfect!

From the moment we connected with Wendy we knew we had chosen the right venue. We are from Saint Louis, so trying to find venues 1000 miles away was stressful! This was the first place we flew down to see and it was instant (we legit didn’t look anywhere else!) Amelia, our wedding coordinator was soooooooooo patient and kind answering all our questions! We actually had our wedding dress and suit lost, (8 days before the wedding!) and she saw my post on social media and called just to make sure I was okay! She didn’t have to do that, but she did (believe it or not we didn’t find the dress, but we located exact matches in Tampa when we landed!) Every detail was carefully crafted to ensure our day was magical! The entire team worked so hard to make sure even the smallest things were taken care of. We made some really good friends with the staff, and we cannot wait to come back for our anniversary! Thank you SO much for everything you have done for us! You truly made us feel loved and special! Also, can we talk about the food! Multiple guests told us it was the BEST wedding door they had ever had! If you’re thinking about this venue, please just give them a call! I’ve never been so fortunate to work with such amazing human beings! Thank you again for being a part of the best day of our lives!

Sooooooo, StarShip Yacht allowed me to have a fabulous birthday celebration on February 11, 2023. It started with a phenomenal manager ( Derek Enos) who walked me through EVERYTHING! Derek was available, patient and professional with my details and put a package together that was affordable and practical to accommodate 65 guest. The Staff that also catered to my needs ( Kate 💕, Amelia and Julio ) were gems. I would recommend this Yacht at Channelside not only for the convenience but mainly for the professionalism of the Staff. They really put the small details into your event that will take it over the top. What a hidden jewel right in our Tampa backyard! The yacht was cleaned and ready for my group on the exact time that was requested and the skyline in Tampa was breathtaking. There was no jerking or speeding; just a consistent movement on the water. My guest and I had a wonderful memorable time and well worth the expense. I’m using StarShip Yacht again…you should too.

An incredible experience. The price-quality balance is very good. The staff is phenomenal and both the food and the drinks are very good !!! The views of the city from the yacht are unforgettable. My only but is with the music, they need to work with the dj.

Had a wonderful experience. Celebrated my mother's 80th birthday on the cruise and she loved it. We'll definitely be going again. If you've not taken a trip yet on this cruise for dinner you must try it at least once.

We held our wedding reception aboard Starship III on 5/22/22. It was an absolutely WONDERFUL experience from start to finish. The booking process was simple, and Christine and the team were very helpful when explaining the different packages. They worked with us to modify docking so that the boat departed from and returned to our ceremony site (Florida Aquarium) and made it much easier for our guests. Rachel Knight, our on-site coordinator, was simply phenomenal. She was warm, friendly, and amazingly efficient. The day-of details seemed to go off without a hitch (or if there were hitches, we didn't notice or know about them!) Rachel also took the time and effort to go above and beyond - I lost my mother a few weeks before the wedding, and Rachel coordinated with my fiance to have a framed photo of the two of us made so that Mama could be there in spirit on the big day. That kind of consideration was truly exceptional. The food was wonderful, our DJ Paul made sure to hit our request list and work with us to be sure everything was what we wanted, the serving staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of...it was just overall a wonderful experience. If you’re thinking… just do it !!! We planned our engagement party on one of their private charters and all I can say is EXCEPTIONAL. The booking process with Wendy was extremely smooth and very informational. The planning with Joey was a breeze. Julian and the rest of the staff were amazing! Although we had a cake situation, their cake chef on board was on it and saved a disaster! I would 10000000/10 recommend planning your private events here. We truly appreciate the team at yacht starship, from the bottoms of our hearts thank you!

My fiancé had booked a brunch for us while we were on vacation in Tampa and it was very nice. The food was delicious and we ordered the bottomless mimosas. The vibe was nice, the staff was super friendly and also the other guests. Overall great experience. Definitely recommend.

The ship was spacious and accommodated a wedding party of 125 people. The food was delicious, from the hors d'oeuvres, to the main meal, and desserts were all fantastic! The Wedding Ceremony was handled in a very respectful and memorable manner. The party afterwards was joyous and fun. The crew and waiters/waitresses were very professional. Special accolades to Chelsea who served our dinner table magnificently. This was definitely an experience that I will remember. 👍🏼🎉🎊👋

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Shailah & Troy for making our 14 year anniversary extra special. We really enjoyed our selves. The food was amazing delicious. We had the Creole Shrimp which were huge & delicious. I had the Lemon Dill Salmon that was seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. My husband had the Shrimp Scampi that he absolutely loved. He made a comment that everything was seasoned so well that he didn't have to add anything else to it. Our server Gary was also amazing he made sure our drinks stayed full & was always checking on us. All in all I am glad we were able to do this. We have family coming to town soon and are thinking of doing the Brunch Cruise.

The food was great. I had salmon. The drinks 🍸 kept coming. They have items that are not included in the prepaid cost. Soup, steak, and shrimp cost extra. Mr James was a great waiter. The pictures were a little expensive 25.00 per photo. Gratuity is a mandatory 10.00 a person. Not ideal for small children.

My wife and I got married on the Yacht Starship last month (March 2023) and we had the most amazing experience! Joey (our wedding coordinator) was on top of it and took care of everything for us and the staff were amazing. Our wedding guests had a lot of fun and it was a perfect day that we will always remember. Thank you Yacht StarShip for being so accommodating and professional.

We had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the DJ was amazing and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend. The only issue I have is - We purchased our tickets online, after dinner the waitress informed us we owe $20 for gratuity. I wish gratuity was included when we booked online or in bold print somewhere so it’s not a surprise during the cruise

I went with my mom today for the first time and we absolutely enjoyed it. We did the 2 hours brunch. The service, food and views were all good. It was family friendly too. I totally recommend.

Fun, amazing waitress , great cruise if just drinking, but if anyone from your party cancels they hold your money hostage for what they call 'store credit' I consider it stealing but whatever... So I have one year to go back or... They take my money. Interesting business model, money for nothing. Unlikely I'll be back, let alone within a year. Food was typical catered wedding type stuff, not bad, not great. So if you're going, drink the premium stuff at an upgraded cost. Their "free" well drinks.... Well you get what you pay for.

Once again Starship has delivered on an enchanted evening on Tampa Bay. Beautiful views, great drinks, the food was an 8 this time but the experience made up for it. Perfect New Years Eve night out!!!!

My wife and I were so happy we went for her Birthday. The staff was friendly and the brunch food offering exceeded our expectations. A really nice suprise that set the experience off really well was that the food was ready as soon as you were allowed to board. So we had enough time to basically finish our food as the boat was launching, so for us it was more like a 3 hr cruise vs 2 hr advertised sail time. They even suprised her with two pieces of complementary delicious desert for her bday. Additionally, they only advertised all you can drink mimosas for $10. I am not one to drink sweet drinks so was suprised to find they also offered the same deal for bloody marys (I had 4 :p). Our server was very attentive, and I happily tipped extra. There is a $5 gratuity per person automatically added, but dont be a cheapy and make sure to tip especially if you get drinks :p Because the food was served early we enjoyed the boat ride mainly from the sunny upper deck where they had djs playing and another bar upstairs. Highly recommend getting there early to take full advantage. This was a case of undersell and over perform. It was 3 nice suprises, in a good way that really exceeded our expectations and kicked off an amazing birthday vacation for my wife and I. Our next visit to tampa, for sure will do this again, we highly recomend.

Our party was one of the first to board, thank God, because the rains came down hard as we stepped into the boat. The captain announced that we would wait for the thunder and lightning to end before we set off. We saw an enormous rainbow over the water and then embarked on our journey. Before dinner cocktails were superb. Our vegan dinner, strawberry dessert, and the wait staff were excellent too.... Quite to my surprise. After dinner we enjoyed cruising and dancing on deck to a lively DJ. My only wish was that the upstairs bartender served the same quality drinks as before dinner. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable experience!

The VIP dinner cruise was fantastic! I surprised my wife and the Yacht StarShip Cruise took care of all the details starting with a red rose on the table, a delicious meal, and music and dancing on the top deck. I was a night to remember!

We went on the smaller yacht for a private party. It was so much fun. Shelly's Adventure book signing. The crew was very attentive. It started raining really hard so we had to cruise around until it was okay to dock. The kids danced and danced. The food was most excellent. Thanks chef. I had no idea this existed. I need to book for my own party. They have pirate cruise, taxi boat and several bigger yachts. Fun for everyone. 2 thumbs up you guys. Thanks again. 😊

Good morning! I just wanted to let you know myself and a group of friends attended your dinner cruise on Saturday June 3rd for the 5:00 pm dinner. We had the most amazing time and our server Jax was the best! He is a wonderful young man with and outstanding personality! He made our time on board an incredible experience. Please let him know he is very appreciated. All of the staff were great and we had a great time.

Had an awesome experience with the family for graduation night 🎓 The top deck was superior! Great views of Davis Island (Jeter's House), Channelside and Downtown Tampa's Convention Center. Open bar at sea is clutch, but of course, house liquors always taste watered down. Food menu is small, although it was served quick and the servers were very friendly and helpful. Shrimp did taste frozen, not fresh, which effected the taste of some meals. Heads up, the Buffalo Shrimp is spicy, for those who don't know ☺️

Did the Mothersday brunch on the large ship with a party of 11. Prices were GREAT. Our server Miguel G. was responsive and friendly. Our ship was large and accommodating to babies and strollers as we had a few in the party. The brunch menu was great. Star items were the grits, pasta, salmon and shrimp! Everything was organized well. Check in, security and departure was easy. Will be trying out the smaller boats in the future!

I went with my little sister, we are visiting from Texas and we absolutely enjoyed it. We did the 2 hours sunset cruise with Dinner. The service, food and views were all good. It was family friendly too. I totally recommend. I enjoyed the Dj playing music and we all dance together. It was really fun. The only thing i will say is please pay attention to the dress code when they send you a confirmation email.. and they need to make sure is in bold or highlighted.

Celebrating my 40th birthday was nothing short of amazing. Thank you so much for a great brunch and bottomless mimosas. Me and my ladies enjoyed this so much! My wedding was everything my husband and I wanted it to be. Eric, our Yacht StarShip Event Coordinator, and his team were amazing before and during the event. He helped with all the little things: glue for my cake topper, helped my bridesmaids with my bussel, asked me questions when he needed my direction during the event, taught us how to slice the cake (and other wedding things), and things I am not even aware of. He also kept us on schedule. We were also able to hire vendors to assist my dad up and down the stairs. Food and drink were included in the package. The DJ was spectacular (also included). Yacht StarShip is the full package.

The waiter ruined the whole experience. As soon as we sat down, we asked for bread and the waiter said " sorry we don't have any". OK no problem. Then...ten minutes later we see him bring bread to other tables. We had to wave him down and ask AGAIN for bread. After watching everyone else get their food he actually came up to us and asked "did I take your order"? We were the last table to get our food. We asked for well done salmon and it wasn't. Sent it back and it came back the same. It was so bad we got up and left. Everything was paid prior so didn't think much about it. Only to be stopped before exiting the boat by the waiter asking for a tip. Really? Tips aren't mandatory and especially since he did such a poor job. I gave a tip. but i regret it.

This is a great venue for an event. Their dock is located on the north side of the Ybor Turning Basin, across from Harbour Island and on the south of the Tampa downtown area. There is a parking lot near the dock or a parking garage a few blocks down toward the east by the aquarium. I was there for a funeral event to celebrate the passing of a wonderful person. They had all the memorabilia for the deceased and, as sad as it was, it was a wonderful tribute and a great place to hold the tribute. The boat has 3 full decks for the people coming to any event. 2 of the decks were inside and the upper deck is open-air. There were plenty of tables and seating on each deck. This even had displays on the bottom 2 decks and a food presentation on the middle deck. The staff was wonderful and the boat is very nice. They did a wonderful job for this event and I am thankful for that. I am certain that this is a great place to hold that event that you want to celebrate in a unique way that people will remember forever.

Outstanding birthday celebration we had thanks for making our friends day special. The Skipper Terri did a great job. The executive Chef Maria make very special dishes. Our server Gary was the SUPER STAR. he’s the face of the StarShip he made use feel Special. Thank u Gary your awesome and yes the crew is award winning team.

This was a special experience. I went with a bunch of coworkers and we had a good time. The food was decent, but not great. The sunset and views and water were gorgeous. The drinks were ok. There is a full bar, but they were missing things that I asked for that are pretty common.
